The only thing that holds me back from trying any ROM is the camera quality loss (or the fact that with the gcam I can't use the wide lens camera or macro).
There isn't any way to install the mi camera on this rom? Anyone who has this rom can try it?
I'm also sad that the Pixel Experience was discontinued
And BTW, there is any method to not lose data when unlocking bootloader? I want to backup the stock rom and my data and apps before flashing a ROM, that would be really good.

Easily usable as daily driver. Pocket detection is buggy though. When you let it open, it doesn't allow the phone to go to deep sleep. Once it's closed no more kernel wakelock. Apart from that pretty okay but if you want customizations you need to go with Evolution X.

I have installed many custum roms, nougat based and also oreo based. This is the only one that won't let me login to swift backup. I also tested your gapps, but i got the same problem.
I liked this rom, but i can't restore my backup.

most of the Gapps backup won't work properly.
No major changes between AOSP5.1. we want stable and also the volte.

Footej crashes at second shoot, tried to close and open the app, but didn't work. Then I tried to use stock camera app, but all I had was a black screen.
Even rebooting the phone same results: Footej Crashes, stock doesn't work at all
Just flashed this ROM two days ago so thought I would give an initial review.
Battery life - seems as good as other ROMs here, which is about 50% battery life of stock ROM. This means I get two days life, but not optimum at this point. I am guessing this is the base ROM rather than the specific ROM so all good.
On initial setup, transferring my settings via cloud the final step seemed to lock up. So I restarted my phone and started the process again which also didn't work. So I skipped the process which then went back to installing my apps from the first attempt, so that was OK but I haven't seen that on a ROM for some time.
Downloads seem old school past version of android - not showing progress bars for each download or giving the option to stop without having to go into the downloads list.
Buttons option under Settings>Galaxy doesn't work.
Speed seems slower than say AOSP ROM, jolty from going from one thing to another.
I've had a few issues with the options and things stopping randomly but sadly I did not make a note to offer any reasons or support. However, after a couple of restarts things seem better.
Overall, the ROM feels a little buggy and clunky I'm afraid. Still, good progress so far and room for improvement. I'll keep using and setting the options just so over the next few days to confirm, but looks like I my try another ROM.
Thanks for the ROM and I'll keep an eye for updates to hopefully see things improve.

I just want to say thanks for supporting our device with this great Rom. I already tested the unofficial version. I discovered no single bug, the rom runs fluent and the battery life is excellent. I already use it the third day without charging.
Of course it has minimal customisation options, compared to other roms. But sometimes less is more.

The notifications, settings, contacts, dialer, clock, ... stay light. You'll only get dark quick settings, power and volume menu. For me that's enough. The apps I mainly use (or see on the screen) have their own theme. I like the dark quick settings in combination with the light notifications. They are much more readable.

i like this rom. any suggestion for gcam that works perfect with this rom?
I use OpenCamera. It makes better pictures (saturation, light and color balance) and is absolutely reliable. But it has less features.

That is the default dark mode bro. only selected sections become dark. You can use substratum instead if you wanted more; it wouldn't affect the performance, anyway.

very great rom, but the bluetooth headset doesn't work properly,already tried turn off contact sharing and any phone related settings on bluetooth device. any other solution for this?

Performance wise its the best but battery wise its the worst ROM i've used so far
One of the best ROM to date for this device when smoothness and performance is concered.Full of features as well. Bleeding edge as well(Well done on compiling Android 10 !!).
The only downside is that battery is horrible and the phone heats up quite a lot even when listening to music on youtube music app .
Other than that i havent encountered any bugs so far. Also i do not have the bluetooth bug as mentioned by someone in this thread.
Also, can you make custom kernel for this rom , like modify the current kernel to include some other schedulers and governers? only if its not too much trouble
Well done on the ROM anyways . Will keep this rom flashed as this phone isnt my daily driver and i can live with the abysmal battery life for now .Hope its fixed soon.

Previously I install PixelExperience Plus 9.0, then I flash this zip without wipe anything cuz PixelEx is and AOSP rom.
After flash rom, some app crash randomly, what should I do without losing data?

when you're changing roms NEVER dirty flash. always make backups and do a clean flash.

I am using GCam-6.2.030_Arnova8G2_Urnyx05-v2.4 it's pretty good. I've also tried GCam 7, it's highly unstable and I won't recommend you to use that. But sorry i don't have the link of it.

Hey guys, why if i turn on a hotspot my network is gud, but if i try to connect on pc is limited, try to my laptop is same. Help for the solutions guys. I think this is a bug for this rom. If i turn on the hotspot first and then my mobile data, i can't browsing or something, but if i turn off my network is back to normal. Please help

Not able to get past the first pixel login page
Not going past the first pixel login page , not sure I formatted data , tried clearing cache ,system,data
edit : removed the 4g sim and was able to complete pixel setup later again put the sim and volte was working

If you are using the Pie and you are encrypted then you should wipe and format.
amazing rom! just have over heating while charging... there s no significant bugs for daily use! great work! keep going! and add a GCAM pls!

Hi, currently, Gcam is super unstable and different users have different Gcam preferences. Since I was bugged not to include a Gcam, and didn't want to bloat people's phones with a buggy camera2, camera has been replaced with a 1kb apk, so that *you* can choose whatever camera *you* like the most.

If you're coming from any other rom, you need to wipe everything except internal storage.

now im using PMGC_7.0.009_Astrophoto_Version_V12.apk (Parrot043, 2019-04-05) and its going good.... not very stable but its just fine camera and video good
hey, anyone had issues with audio bluetooth? Sometimes the audio have small interruptions. I try change kernel(Krypton and Strix), but nothing changed :/

It has the stable label so I'd imagine it works for daily driver. Regarding dual apps, I'm not sure what that is.

Thanks, dual apps allows you to have two versions of the same app on the device, e.g. Two WhatsApps or Two instagrams?

So just installed this today and using it after 6 hours (only) -
1. The rom on it's own is beta-ish, in terms of UI especially, you'd come across a few bugs/glitches. Not sure if that's due to A11 or the rom.
2. UI is definitely a step down on A11. It does much less occupyin basically the same amount of space (A11 nitpick, not rom's)
3. There are some cool features on A11, but not very big game changing. Basically it's 10.2 - I'd think A12 will be much more "updated"
4. Back to rom, it's stable, performance is good enough (not sure what to expect of such an old device as vince). Can't speak for battery backup (yet)
tl;dr interesting rom, very less customisation options (coming from Havoc), UI is minimal (A11), and I'm gonna stick with it.

I am trying to update my phones adreno driver using this https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...pengl-vulkan-drivers-v-474-0-1-1-128.4042619/ and as listed that the drivers require 9.0 or higher, listed on the post above its android 11, but doing it it shows that this rom is android 7.1.2,, is this real? i am on the inital page havent restarted my phone yet,,
basically:
recovery
wipe,dalvik cache etc
install > rom gapps
then install driver
shows cannot be cause its 7.1.2 ,
please help

It's stable for a daily driver, the only thing I didn't love is the QS and how the brightness. bar is big just like in MIUI but that's just me. I went back to havoc 3 due to lawnchair not being available in R.

Nope, but
ROM seems very smooth, no WPS option to connect to WiFi. I really like this rom, only that WPS option missing for me. I might have to go back to my MIUI 11 rom as I need the dual apps option, very important for me.
very nice rom though @aseelpsathar, if you can add wps and dual apps for this in future updates i'll stick with it. Keep up the good work.

WPS option have been removed since android 10 for all devices.. thats why you don't see it
