How to root Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo GT-I9301I with newest possible stock ROM(4.4.2) without triggering knox?
I'm sorry but this has been asked numerous times, so next time please use the search button!
01.) Download KingRoot v4.8.0.apk (use google search, the playstore is full of fake clones)
02.) Install and dismiss KNOX when prompted.
03.) Use KingUser as your regular SU_Access point. SuperSU (chains/clockwork) refuses to update the su-binairies, even if you use a flashable zip.
04.) Download TWRP Manager from playstore and update your stock recovery to TWRP3.0.0-0 while you're at it

Help samsung tab 4 t330nu 8.0 wifi looking for custom recovery, root & roms?

Help samsung tab 4 t330nu looking for custom recovery, root & roms?
I've been searching all over the place and have not been able to find a custom recovery installation or ROMs. Does anybody know of a step-by-step guide that I may be able to follow?
To root follow this guide:
1. Download this zip file from this link from your tablet:
http://king.myapp.com/myapp/kdown/img/NewKingrootV4.9.6_C151_B313_en_release_2016_08_26_105203.apk
2. Go ahead and check in your settings if Unknown sources it enabled
3. When you enabled it or if it already is enabled then install the apk
4. After it is installed go ahead and open the app and press Root
5. After that you should be rooted!
You can check if you are rooted by downloading Root Checker from the Google Play Store
For recovery(Warning: Will void KNOX!):
1. Using your tablet download this img from this link:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24421527759888610
2. Download Flashify and when it installs press Other recovery image, when it offers the recovery to install
3. Now select your downloaded img.
4. Now you should have custom recovery!
Only custom ROM I could find:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/development/rom-dirty-unicorns-milletwifi-t3334058
I'm not sure will the IR sensor work though, that is for you to try,you can easily make a backup through TWRP recovery

Don't know if you still need the info, but I've just worked out TWRP. I've been rooted for ages but never saw your post; it's only because I decided to try TWRP again that I found you in a Google search.
TWRP that works on the J320ZN is for j3lte. To download: https://dl.twrp.me/j3lte/
Others have had issues installing SuperSU.zip in TWRP.... as did I. The only way to get root that would work is CF-Auto-Root..... because usually SuperSU.zip would then cause a bootloop. BUT of course, what I didn't realize at the time, was CF-Auto-Root once installed reflashed stock recovery! But what it DID enable me to work out (once it clicked in my head that this was going to be the issue and after I'd nearly set up my phone again) was that I was getting a dm-verity error.... something I know nothing about other than it's a new thing I have to do on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A. So MAYBE SuperSU wasn't installing because of that? Who knows.
Anyway, now I'm fully working with TWRP and root and it's sticking with no problems.
So install TWRP the usual way....(I used twrp-3.2.1-0-j3lte.img from the link above). If you need help with this quote me and ask, or look for a TWRP tutorial on j3lte (I know the J320YZ uses this TWRP and has a tutorial on how to install TWRP with Odin).
Then install the latest SuperSU.zip:
https://download.chainfire.eu/1220/SuperSU/SR5-SuperSU-v2.82-SR5-20171001224502.zip through TWRP "Install" method.... it must be on your external SD card. Go to the "Install" button on TWRP menu, select storage to extSD and then find SuperSU.zip.
THEN I had to install the Dm-verity and Forced Encryption Disabler through TWRP "Install" method (so this file also needs to be on your external SD card):
https://androidfilebox.com/miscellaneous/dm-verity-and-forced-encryption-disabler/
I used no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.0.zip
Then reboot, and reset up your phone.
FINALLY!
Whether you need to do the dm-verity thing I don't know... I'm FAR from an expert. This was all through trial and error but it is the only way to keep root through TWRP without CF-Auto-Root.....FOR ME PERSONALLY.
You could try just TWRP and the latest version of of SuperSU.zip through TWRP....see if that works. If you get stuck in a bootloop, then I just flashed CF-Auto-Root with Odin and it fixed that.... then start the install process again, this time adding dm-verity patch AFTER SuperSU.zip.
If you want to skip TWRP and just root your phone, then the easiest way is to flash CF-Auto-Root with Odin. File at https://download.chainfire.eu/986/CF...etrieve_file=1.

Pokémon Go

Hi everyone,
Sorry for my language : i don't speak english very well.
I'm a new user of this forum.
I'm a new user of root, rom, ...
And I need help for hack Pokemon Go on my Nexus 4.
I found this project : "Pokemon Go MITM" on GitHub by rastapasta (sorry I can't put a link)
And I would like to try it.
I tried several things but I have trouble at all step and I don't understand that I do.
To use MITM, I think I need :
root my phone
Install the Xposed Framework
install Pokemon Go Trust Certificate via the Xposed Installer
install the Xposed module pokemon-go-xposed
To use Pokemon Go on rooted phone, I think I need to hide the root :
Install Magisk Manager
Install TWRP
Install Magisk
I think my phone is rooted now. I have the SuperSu app and Pokemon Go said something like that : "Phone or OS not compatible with Pokemon Go".
I don't know what it's finish with the Xposed Framework.
I had install Magisk Manager but now I have trouble to use TWRP and install Magisk.
First, can you confirm that my lists of things to do are correct?
And after, someone can help me step by step and explain me what each step do?
I think, the first thing to do is to be able to launch Pokemon Go on rooted phone.
So Install TWRP and Magisk.
Correct?
TWRP + Magisk
I continued to try by myself.
After install TWRP by the TWRP App, I don't understood that we need to reboot in recovery mode to launch TWRP.
So In TWRP, I install Magisk from the zip downloaded previously by the Magisk Manager App.
So now, I have TWRP and Magisk installed.
Next step : use it to hide root to Pokemon Go App.
But I don't know how to do it yet!
Magisk Hide
According to the website of magiskmanager, I enable the "Magisk hide" option in the setting of "Magisk Manager".
But no new option appear in my menu.
And when I close and reopen Magisk Manager, the option "Magisk hide" is unable now !
I don't no why !
Perhap's the problem is that I rooted my phone before install TWRP and Magisk ?
I don't remember how I do that but I had the SuperSu App on my phone.
But now, I don't see the SuperSu app since I installed TWRP and Magisk!
Need help!
Magisk hide don't work
I decided to restart from step 0 : I unroot my phone.
To do this, I re-install the official ROM.
I follow the tutorial find on tutoriels-android dot net.
And after, I reinstall TWRP (without root) and Magisk.
But same conclusion : I can't use Magisk hide.
Now I really need help!
Please!

How to do TWRP after magisk is flashed

Basic information:
My Device: Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e, (SM-T725C)
Magisk: Magisk is installed, using falsh patched image.
TWRP link: https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxytabs5elte.html
Issue:
Now I wish to install TWRP to my device, but I can't. I followed the instruction on TWRP page, install TWRP app via google play, download the vbmeta.tar and flash it. Now I ended up with the result that I can't get into my system. (When I enter recovery, it's TWRP, when I boot normally, it just stays with samsung logo.)
I managed to reflash the magisk patched image and now I can boot into the system. But how can I flash TWRP, with magisk enabled at same time?
(I use TWRP to flash opengapps because google apps are not included in Chinese version of Samsung system)

I dont know if this works with the latest update, but it certenly worked with android pie and the first android 10 update.
Edit 'I have just seen your device is a different number so may not work'
Instal TWRP without a P.C. for Galaxy Tab S5e (SM-T720) keeping stock ROM.
I wrote this guide because I had difficulty trying to instal a patched version of twrp through odin so I found this alternative way which worked very well for me. Please read all through especially the warning at the end before attempting to...
