ro.fps_enable=1
gpu.fps=auto
cpu.fps=auto
ro.fps.capsmax=60fps
ro.fps.capsmin=30fps
is it possible to control gaming gpu fps (call of duty mobile) if i set 10-15 in "ro.fps.capsmin=30fps"
also, if it doesnt bother you, plz explain a bit about these line.
thanks in advance

Has any one got a link for a freeware program to do throtterling of the CPU as in not always running at 400Mhz? I've seen a few more complex ones that you have to pay for but they do all sorts of things? I am thinking of giving it a go and the whole point of Intel developing the XScale chip is because it's able to Scale down the speed (Hense the name) this saves a lot of battery life apparently...
Any ideas?
Downclock your processor will not take a lot saving your battery life (about 10%).
Use XCPUScalar for your Xscale cpu,it let you choose 100-200-300-400-472 Mhz mode.

thanks for the reply unapproachable2kx I will take a look into that program... Great work...
Hear is a direct link for any one that would like to look it up as well
http://www.immiersoft.com/
does the program expire at all? has any one done any testing of just very basic PDA work as in address lookup, phone number lookup and that sorta stuff and seen how much extra battery like they can get out of there PDA?
Is there any programs that can automaticly scale the speed of the CPU acording to CPU load that is freeware? Will Microsoft be implamenting CPU scaling in the Second Edition of there 2003 OS? still can't belive that its not a built in feature if the CPU's where designed to scale acordingly...
Does no one else know of any others that can scale the CPU speed according to usage? ass well as the software being freeware?
The Xscaler prog is not free.
This is

Thanks for the link xda-rocks, Have you had any trouble using this software on the XDA II, I see they give you a bit of babble about you may have to do hard resets and stuff like that.... Have you had any problems as yet... I have never used any CPU throterling software and am just wanting to play around with it a bit..
Do you notice a extended battery life if you use this software at all?
No probs so far, but haven't really had time to try it - only just installed myself.
Is there some kind of tweak to raise the video resolution to 320x240 or something? something in the register maybe?
looking for this tweak too...
It should be great if someone knows how to do this.
this is just an asumption...but i dont think it can be done...if the hardware (screen) is only capable of 320x240....but i have no idea..just a guess :idea:
Sorry if there is a misunderstanding: i am not talking bout the SCREEN but the CAMERA
The Cam itself has the needed resolution, CPU (even NOT overclocked) should do it too (as video preview while in single-picture mode is smooth enough)...
If its not possible to tweak the registry for that - then maybe a standalone software could do that?
theres a camerca tweak...search for it....but it doesnt do much....makes it a bit brighter or something along those lines
Use the tool "CoolCamera"... there you can make better pictures, increase videorecording - resolution and even use your Wizard as a webcam...
I wrote some Managed Direct3D Mobile code, using fixed point arithmetic. It runs slow as a dog and its performance relative to the floating point version of the code shows little improvement.
This is on a Kaiser phone. I know that there are issues with graphics on that thing. I am only trying to use the software renderer, but the speed of my app is so slow that I wonder if it's in my implementation. It is a cube with textured faces, spinning as as fast as it can, and I can only achieve 7 seconds per frame (yes... seconds per frame. Obviously my goal is something in the FPS range!).
Would anyone with experience in writing D3DM code care to give me a hand by looking at my code? I'm at kramer (underscore inserted) ae (at) hotmail (dot) com.
Thanks,
Brian
Sorry to say the Kaiser only has reference drivers for d3dm, all software driven. Thats why its a dog.
and it also dont help that ms stoped all development of Managed Directx along time agoe and most people who wanna do 3d from .net these days use opengl
also on a as weak platform as arm compared to pc
.net being much much relatively slow on arm compared to on x86
doing 3d in a not truely native language as c++ will never give much speed
less so when it comes to graphics
These comments aren't helping. I understand that my environment is not up to industry standards in terms of performance (15-60 fps, for example). But rendering a cube in Direct3D should not be as bad as one frame every 10 seconds. I'm in search of someone who knows the correct baseline performance expectation for my scenario and can help bring the perf of my simple 3D application in line with what is really expected. Alternatively, there may be anecotal information that says my application is actually performing as fast as expected. I don't know that.
The attached archive contains a native and a managed D3D example showing a rotating textured cylinder (from the WM6 SDK). Both run interactive on my HTC Touch (Elf).
Hey Guys
As much as the need & love for save/load state has been discussed.
In tiger arcade you cannot change the mvs settings e.g the difficulty of the game, everytime you play the game it is on normal difficulty.
I remember pc base emulators like neoragex allowed you to change the settings through dip switiches before the game started, or you could emulate the same rom as a console version, you could then go into the games menus and change the difficulty that way.
this is a huge requirement for me as playing the game on "normal" settings is pointless i like a challenge.
anyone else notice this or overcame this issue.
please help
harlzden
Having access to the test/service and dipswitches would be VERY nice.
you guys rekon its worth contacting tiger king about this, might be a big aspect he did not notice, i tried looking for contact info could not find.
Jrioni does not give dip switch access either.
Not sure how much hassle it is for them to implement in all honesty.
Must be quite difficult or they would of done it already.
It's not difficult. The dip switches are just controlled by flipping a bit on or off.
Pls share your GameOptions_saved files. With your changed graphycs for this phone.
Bro don't waste your time looking for the config use gltools and set it to adreno 530 and optimise glshaders that's all it will work fine and also set the graphics to default.
