some questions about how to unlock the bootloader of Sony Xperia devices - Sony Cross-Device General

some questions about how to unlock the bootloader of Sony Xperia devices?
1 I downloaded the firmware for G8441,HK,what if i:
1)pick up the boot.img from the firmware
2)fix the boot.img with Magisk Manager
3)flash it back
if that possible, from which file could i get a boot.img?
there're 3 files.
2 what determined whether the device could be unlocked or not?
is it the fastboot in the phone itself or the fastboot.exe in my PC?
what if i hack into the fastboot.exe by OD?
3 somebody posts a post claiming that his renoroot could get a temp root
how about using software like flashfire to get a permanently root?

Flashing ROM from Update Extractor and command line?

In case I can't solve the whole SIM problem I need to get the phone back to my carrier and get it repaired/replaced so I have to get it back to carrier stock and lock the bootloader. But how do I install a ROM extracted from Update Extractor? Maybe someone has the syntax for a batch file to do it?
Update extractor will produce .img files. You need to follow the steps listed in Chapter 4: Unbricking from: https://forum.xda-developers.com/p8lite/general/mega-thread-root-unbricking-updating-t3400994
You will need fastboot (and fastboot drivers if using Windows) installed.
It's up to your provider to decide if they still offer a warranty. Unlocking the bootloader voids the warranty, and re-locking will show that the bootloader has been previously unlocked.

Relock bootloader problem - Still require signed boot.img? [QUALCOMM]

I'm trying to get one of my E4's ready to sell (I have two of them) and need to relock the bootloader so that the N/A message goes away. I reinstalled the stock firmware provided here using fastboot (and followed the appropriate oem locking steps) but at the very end I get:
Code:
Still require signed boot.img
I am assuming nobody has found a workaround for this as Lenovo hasn't provided official stock firmware and I haven't seen any posts about a solution? Would appreciate any insight.
Not possible currently, just let the buyer know that the bootloader is unlocked and it's root ready lol.
Is it still currently not possible to relock the bootloader?

fastboot oem lock_bootloader
Then go to Motorola.com grab a stock image
Fastboot flash boot boot.img and everything else too.
Fastboot flash
bootloader
oem
Boot
Logo
system
Etc....
I did this and had to use my code that they emailed me to unlock the boot loader again.

[Bootloader] Verification Error

Hi there, i was lucky and got in possession of a XA1 and wanted to root it. I unlocked the bootloader via Sony and flashed the latest firmware with Flashtool (G3121_Customized DE_1308-4558_48.1.A.2.112_R3B) to get rid of the branding.
adb reboot recovery - Reboots the phone? Is there no recovery installed?
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot boot recovery.img - This gives me the a big warning: Your device has failed verification and will not work properly. The recovery.img is a TWRP for the XA1.
Does anyone have a clue what's going on and how to get rid of it?

Impossible to unlock bootloader and root Zenfone 3 Max Zc520tl X008D Oreo

Hi please help me I'm desperate.
This is my horrible phone
Zenfone 3 Zc520tl X008D with Oreo 8.1
I would like to root it with magisk but I have a lot of problems.
FIRST. I have to unlock the bootloader but Asus didn't release the tool for Oreo.
I tried to unlock through fastboot using these following commands
fastboot flashing unlock
fastboot oem unlock
But nothing happens. How can I unlock the bootloader?
SECOND. I didn't find, in the case I will be able to unlock the bootloader, TWRP recovery or better I found TWRP in a guide about rooting this model but with Nougat OS. The question is. Can I use this TWRP for Nougat or I need a TWRP designed for the model with Oreo?
An alternative, I found here a guide to root this device without TWRP patching boot.img with Magisk Manager and flashing it through fastboot. Could it be a valid solution?
But please help me to unlock this bootloader. I will never buy again asus ZenFone. They disappeared a d if I ask for the unlock tool Oreo they answer: we will refer this to our technicians

The Oreo update came in 2018 and i doubt they release anything 2 years later. And i think that tool is required to even be able to use those commands in fastboot. So if you want to unlock bootloader you should downgrade to an older version and use the tool , which i am currently looking for.
