Already tried to Format Data, Repair File System and Change File System (to EXT2 then EXT4). It always shows "Failed to mount '/data' (Device or resource busy).
I appreciate any help.

Flashing the DM Verity file should fix this for you.

How do I do that?
I managed to fix it by flashing the official system on it with Odin and then installing a Custom ROM with TWRP.

I'm a noob here. Below is the sequence of events.
1. I was already running on low internal storage (No external sdcard)
2. Phone switches off due to low battery
3. Switched on after a full battery and got this msg-"encryption unsuccessful with 'reset all' button"
4. After few restarts stuck at logo screen
5. Tried hard reset (for factory reset)- getting E: unable to mount cache recovery log
6. Tried wiping cache system dalvik data through twrp- getting unable to mount data system cache error
Tried changing filesystem to ext4 but that didnt work. Tried checking other threads but couldnt find a similar scenario.
Thanks!

Ext4 is the default filesystem. Change it to fat and then revert back to ext4 again. It will repair your partition.

Tried doing that. I get a message-
E: Error changing file system
updating partition details...
E: unable to mount /system /cache /data
ONE MORE IMPORTANT THING- twrp shows internal storage as 0 MB and no OS installed.
I think I corrupted my partitions or something to do with encryption.

I tried cache and data partitions to fat from ext4.
Dalvik cache partition is something ghat is showing as- "file system options are not available for this partition"

Change data or system partition. If system partition shows 0mb in details section after tapping on 'change or repair fs', then change fs of 'system' partition.
But if data shows zero, then change fs of 'data'.

You have to format data and then change system partition to ext4 and now you can flash the rom again.

Ext4 is better than f2fs and also you have to first format again and then clean flash is required.

F2fs has better writing speed. Then I may help to install the apps faster.. right?

While faster, you may find yourself with compatibility issues in regard to your preferred ROM, etc.
Sticking with ext4 (for now) is simply the better option at the moment because it ensures that your reliability and compatibility. Also, there are apparently some issues with f2fs when it comes to device encryption.
Therefore: just wait. Maybe in the future f2fs will be the better option. As for now: I don't think that with an OP5 you need to worry about the installation time of apps taking too long.
I have a problem. In TWRP, the only thing my Cool1 cannot mount is persist. Every execution always showing "Failed to mount '/persist' (Invalid argument)". What should I do? Change TWRP?
I was helped by downloading the file from the thread below and restoring "backup" as a partition backup by TWRP

the file might have been removed from the link you provided. if you still have the backup, can you please provide it. @dziubson
Hello!
Can anyone explain how can i change file system ext4 to f2fs?
i've tried so many ways but none works which recovery use?? there is a global steps to do that? i always got a few errors... like: unable to mount internal storage... failed to mount '/data' (no such device), unable to recreate /data/media folder... etc
i'm on stock rom atm.. what are the steps to change ext4 to f2fs without any error?
thank you in advance
After changing ext4 to f2fs I needed an extra zip file to flash on my mi8..after installing a custom rom...I reed nothing about it on xda forems...for the mi a1....so who has the answers?
My Mi A1 device is in a state that is stuck in the first logo boot screen and when I boot into twrp I get errors of failing to mount /system and /data. I have tried the methods of wiping the partitions through twrp but the proccess fails. I have also tried to switch the filesystem to something else but that proccess fail too. Is there a way I could create them from scratch via the terminal in twrp? I don't have the knowledge to do things like that in filesystems and my device is for me right now in a bricked state because of that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
When I do the switch file system option of /system and /data from twrp i get the error 'E:recv error on uevent'
When I try to do a format I get the errors: 'Could not mount /data and unable to find crypto footer.'
'Unable to mount /data (Invalid Argument)'
'Unable to mount /system (Invalid Argument)'
Hey, have you got any solution for the problem because I have stucked in the same problem. If you got the solution please tell me.
