Hi,
I have the EU version with latest stock firmware and root. Magisk modules ExOS and microg. I wanted to try the "google-free" experience with microg but many apps did not work properly because of course there is no signature spoofing.
So, I removed the microg package and now I am stuck with microg services. I tried to install the google play services but it gets installed as user app and not getting recognized as proper by the apps. Play store is also getting installed as user app and constantly crashing.
How can I reinstall the google play services and play store? I could not find any guide about it.
Thanks
I reinstalled the whole firmware but Play Store and Google Play Services are not installed. What is happening? Isn't a reinstall supposed to install everything again?
UPDATE: At some point I booted safe mode and then again normal boot and now it is back. Works as before.

HI,
suddenly today, my play store stopped working - "unfortunately, google play store has stopped" is the message.
iv'e tried the following:
1. clear data (and cache) + force stop + disable goggle play store (from settings->app).
2. same as 1, but to the play services (and also uninstall updates for play services).
3. checked that download manager is enabled, and tried to disable-enable it.
4. uninstall and reinstall play store.
5. factory reset.
nothing works!!!
the closest i got was when i disabled-enabled the download manager, the play store didnt immediately stop - it was supposedly updating apps, but made no progress, and after couple of minutes it stopped again.
WHAT DO I DO?!
please, i really need your help
Do you by any chance have Swiftkey installed? I've read that is causing problems with gapps...

i do have it installed, but i also read it could be problematic, so i uninstalled, and did all those steps without swiftkey installed.
I have just installed Omni 4.4.3 for my S3 mini (unofficial). But my icons/thumbnails in the play store are glitched. I know you can fix this bug by downgrading the play store. I tried download the 4.5.10 version but when i click install it says: app not installed, while i'm totally sure it's installed though. I tried it with 4.6 as well but still it says: app not installed. And also when i go into settings>apps and go to the play store, it doesn't give me the option to remove updates because the 4.8.20 version came with my google apps package. I can still download an older version of the Gapps but that one is from January and i don't feel like updating all my google apps again. Please i need help how do i fix this??
I reset the phone, now i cant find the one that works on this Lee Pro 3 phone.

If you are running stock software, just reset the phone. If you are running a modified version of EUI, you will still need to reset and reinstall. But you may be able to flash Gapps in Twrp Recovery.
Get Gapps : https://opengapps.org/
Another option is to clear the data and cache on Play services, and Play store, if its stock this will probably fix your issue.

It is the first batch of the model i have few years ago. It doesnt have most of the google app.
I tried to find google play store, service, etc. It just crashed.
When i search online, there are too many version, not sure which would work.
Back in the first time i have it, it is easy to install the right google play store, play service. Now it has too many version.
Is it possible to downgrade the Google Play Store on a rooted Pixel 3a? I noticed I can update it to anything newer, but it will not allow me to install a lower version. Fortunately, I was finally able to remove the Play Store entirely by using the Debloater by Veez21 in Magisk. It removed it systemlessly, but then it introduced a new problem I didn't plan for. I installed the Play Store (many versions, including old and current one), but because the Pixel 3a is systemless, I was only able to install them as a user app. Each Play Store installed successfully that I tried, but then they would constantly error out and close every few seconds which was very annoying. Clearing the Play Store cache/data and even Play Services did not resolve it, so I ended up restoring the original system Play Store back using Debloater's restore feature.
So if the Debloater script can remove the Play Store during boot, systemlessly, then theoretically, shouldn't I be able to replace the current system Play Store app with an older version during boot. Of course I have no idea how to do that. Any suggestions?
