ROMs And Kernels For Performance

Hello all, first of all i am quite new and i don't know much about ROMs and kernels so please correct me when i get something whrong. I am looking for combination to get the best performance outta my Xperia SP. Things like android versions don't matter, i just want my phone to run multiple apps smoothly and problem free. I don't play any game, i use my phone for internet mostly. Please help me out people, just tell me something and i will do it because i don't have time to try things out myself.
And here is some questions if you wanna answer:
-Some ROMs are official and some are unofficial, how does this state matter?
-What does "Nightly" mean?
-I found "hubs" for Lollipop and Marsmallow, but i couldn't find any for Nougat, does this mean Nougat runs worse on Xperia SP?

Run Marshmallow or Nougat WITHOUT GAPPS. Gapps kills Xperia SP.

Like said, do not use gapps, it takes around 200mb extra from your ram. I run aosp nougat 7.1.2 by adriandc with fdroid. Very smooth phone . From fdroid I can recommend:
* Lightning browser
* NewPipe (Youtube client, very fast and has features to work in backround and PIP-mode)
* Open Camera (advanced and better camera)
* Slide or red reader (for Reddit)
* Telegram (messenger)
* Yalp Store (for all the apps from Play Store, does not update automatically)

First of all, thank you for replying. Forgive me but i have no idea about what this fdroid is. Could you elaborate? Elaborate a lot if its possible because i am quite a newbie about all this Thank you again.

F-droid is an open source alternative application store for Android. It has quite a lot of interesting apps, especially for those who (like me) do not want Gapps on their Xperias. Or other Android devices, of course.
You install it just by downloading an apk file (search the internet for it, it's easily accessible)

As he stated he uses (just like me) the F-droid.
In current release, F-droid can check for updated apps automatically and install them if you want.

I would suggest to use pico version of gapps since its the smallest version and the device will run just fine...

Thats not a custom rom its a stock rom port.
Maybe try bootleggers pie rom.

I try this rom but this is unofficial rom(launcher is always stopped and I play pubg my phone is switch off )

So what if its unofficial do you know what the difference is between official and unofficial at all?
An official rom is the rom as advertised in the main website or wherever and unofficial means it either hasnt been added to the official list yet, or it has been modified so it cant be added to the official list eg. like if a rom doesn't support "slide finger across status bar for brightness" and a Dev added it for your device then the rom could not be official.
Pubg is crap on this device if you want to play big games like that then you will have to fork out for a new phone.
Also using gapps on this old device makes it super slow and laggy and I was actually able to play pubg quite well with grx tools and not using gapps but instead using microG.
Bootleggers rom for me is the smoothest but seeing as the Dev of bootleggers doesn't use gapps then all bugs related to gapps wont be fixed without logs as he cant replicate the problem.
If I were you I would try bootleggers rom with nanodroid microG and magisk. Best combination for this device by a long shot.
If you need I can post a guide on how to install nanodroid microG without issues but it will have to be a clean install of the rom

General Information
The zip does not hold any allow-in-powersave configuration. This means now you can optimize all the Google applications. Power Hungry application such as GooglePlayService can be optimized too. I did not include any GoogleSetupWizard, GoogleHome application in my GApps Package. You don't need to Signin or Check Updates on first boot. Sometimes you can't skip Google login on first boot, to prevent this i removed unnecessary Setupwizard application and applications related to it.

Guide To Optimize GApps in Android 10 ROMs
Pie ROMs prevent Google Apps optimization for battery. So whenever you do OPTIMIZE, it fallbacks to Not OPTIMIZED.
Follow below steps
• Install Terminal Emulator application from Google's Playstore.
• Open it.
• Type 'su' without quotes.
• Type 'pm.sh' without quotes.
• Done.
Additional Optimizations
• APK optimization through Zipalign Tool.
• Application database optimization though Sqlite tool.
A) Re-aligned APKs through Android Studio Zipalign tool.
B) Re-optimize APKs with 32-bit alignment.
C) Enable memory page alignment for shared object files.

Is it necessary to quote complete OP for one question? Bitgapps is clean and minimalistic so no setupwizard.

This might not be an interesting project for the masses, since it's the same approach of /e/ just with a few other apps and "pure" LOS look alike UI. Everybody can do almost the same on his own with a non-GApps LOS installation and a little bit of effort. But hey - why not? There might be some people who like and follow your attempt. :fingers-crossed:
But there is one thing you should change immediately, because it's totally overbearing (and btw. ridiculous at the same time) - the bad project title!
If you guys really like LineageOS and appreciate the work of the LOS-Team and all the supporting device maintainers you don't pick such a completly stupid project title! "Better LineageOS" is just outrageous imho. One does not do that. Think a few minutes about another, proper name.

Honestly, I completely understand your suggestion as the name is not very creative, however, all of the project's infrastructure is set up as BetterLineage (which would be hard to change) and I have no problem with the name as the whole goal of the project is to create a functional OOBE for LineageOS.

No, just stock LineageOS with extra apps. I didn't make a lot of changes because I did not want BetterLineage to feel bloated.

2. Magisk Root is not working totally (Update Isssue as far I know)
*Fix: Use SuperSu Root or install/update magisk root additionally [you can flash magisk v23]
3. Has Some Ram Management problem [ok for regular uses]
*Fix: Use Grenify Old version to hibernate/stopping apps from Background
4. Mobile Data Problem
*Fix: Set APN of your SIM operator
