So lately I noticed that my car stereo for my 07 Lexus IS250 won't auto connect to my wifi hotspot and when it does it says no internet, even though it does. What's worse is that I think I know how to solve my problem but I need root. As ****-jones points out. I've tried Kingroot and Kingoroot and no luck. Kingoroot just reboots my stereo at 90% and Kingroot says waiting 40 requests, which I have no idea what that's about.
I need someone to help me root this device, because my wifi is nearly useless and I can't even backup the rom on it without root. Help is appreciated.

Extract file from archive (firmware with root).
Write the files to root folder of usb flash drive.
Insert the usb flash drive into the usb port (only one is suitable).
Choose Settings-Car settings-System update (password 7890).
The update process should start.
Be patient. It will take some time.

I downloaded a “usb host controller” in play market to see if the devices was visible, and they are. See picture
Yesterday After I rooted it, I had connected the Carlinket usb dongle (Apple CarPlay), nothing happened, but SuperSU asked me to update, so I did, and after a reboot the CarPlay worked for a minute, and the head unit system crashed, and system rebooted and usb devices still not working.
So what I think is that, the USB ports works, but it seems to there are something blocking when it’s starts up, and I do not know why?
Do I miss some drivers?
Are it due to license restrictions? Can I bypass them if so?
Android version now is 5.1.1

I installed Chinese mt3561 (XY AUTO) in my vw passat.
I have some troubles of using Tasker and other apps those need to start on boot.
Apps don't start automatically, so I need to launch them myself and those work correctly.
I used other system apps to insert in startup, however failed.
As far as I know, It is possible to root the device with kingroot.
How can I solve this problem???

Good luck. If it is not MTCD radio there is no support for routing or ROMS in my experience.
Hello everyone. Buy a unit with Haoling frimware 00009_V0001_20191128. To improve it a bit, install the YT9216B_00002_V004_2101012_HIFI_V3 frimware with SPFlashtool. The new frimware was working fine, but the drive seemed slower, so I decided to look for another lighter frimware without so many extras. My problem comes when when installing the new frimware I forgot to uncheck the Preload box and when I realized I got nervous and disconnected the cable, this caused the display of the unit to remain black and illuminated.
My first failure was not to backup the drive in its original state, and since then I have been testing frimwares without success, the most I have achieved is having a home screen with 3 boot options and an arrow moving in a loop, but at not having physical buttons I can not do anything.
I have had access to a unit equal to mine, to which I have been able to make a dump backup, but I am unable to load it, since the unit sounds as if it is constantly connecting and disconnecting and does not complete the loading of User.
The Test Point system does not seem to work for me, or that or something I am not doing well and I cannot find any video to see how it is done.
Ultimately, I don't know if my unit has a fix or if it will stay like a brick.

Disconnect the black connector from the radio for at least 30 min..next, it should boot directly to system..if it freezes at the Android logo, you have installed a incorrect firmware

Some lib files Are now missing Update without root permissions can Not bring the files back… any Chance to hardreset and get lib files back without root?? I dont find a hardreset option and zwnav and zlink dont answer any email i wrote them.final Solution would be install the whole rom new but cant find anybody who have the rom for this device.. anybody an idea? What could i do now? I tried to root but no Chance

I can´t help with your firmware as this is really dependent to your specific hardware.
But root is really easy going.
You just need to have a laptop and a commonly used WiFi connection.
