Viper4Android causing network problems 4 boots out of 5 - OnePlus 8 Pro Questions & Answers

Hi, I have this problem for over a month now and I thought it was because of root so I unrooted and rooted multiple times and I noticed that this bug starts everytime when I install V4A, and even when I try to uninstall it afterwards the issue remains and I need to reroot, so that's what I've done now, I'm on OS11.0.2.2 with root but no V4A and everything working fine. But I would like to install it and keep my cellular network.
I tried installing the default repo V4A but mot working.

[Q] Viper4android

Hey everybody, i'm running the eclipse rom for the verizon s5. I installed viper4android and it's not really working. i restart my phone and it will work for like 5 seconds then just stop working, i'm not pressing any buttons, it just stops working automatically. is it because of the rom i'm running or just because i'm not activating it correctly/installed it wrong? Really would like this to work as i want my sub to be playing louder on frequencies 35hz and lower. Thanks in advance.
Mine wasn't working at all after update to ni2. Uninstalled the driver, the app, restarted, then re installed both. Set force enable V4A, restarted and everything is groovy again.

Flashed xposed framework now wifi doesn't work

I managed to root my device and successfully installed xposed framework, and now I can't get my wifi to work at all.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this other than going all the way back to stock?
I have tried flashing the mm modem. It still doesn't work.
I did notice when I looked in the build prop the WiFi channels are blank?
Is anyone who has wifi working able to see what they normally say?

This happened to me as well. I made sure to have the "uninstall xposed" zip on my phone and flashed that, and after I did so, wifi was OK again. Here are the xposed modules I installed:
flashed: xposed-v82-sdk23-arm64.zip
I never got as far as installing the xposed installer apk, as when I noticed wifi was gone, I flashed the uninstaller:
xposed-uninstaller-20150831-arm64.zip
I personally used xposed-v81-sdk23-arm64.zip and it seemed to work well without breaking wifi. For what its worth, rooting with the latest SuperSU broke my wifi, but flashing BETA-SuperSU-v2.62-3-20151211162651.zip worked out alright.
As far as reverting the changes you've made so far, if you are sure it was xposed that broke your wifi and not SuperSU, then flash the xposed uninstaller. If it may have been something else, just reflash boot and system from a TWRP backup (hopefully you backed up). If for any reason you dont have a backup, download the stock image for whatever version you are currently on, put it on your SD card, then in TWRP, backup your data partition, then flash the firmware zip over, and then restore the data partition backup, and in theory things should work out, no guarantees though.
OK, just flashed the xposed-v81-sdk23-arm64.zip and the wifi is fine. I am getting "unfortunately messenger has stopped" messages now. I've installed Gravitybox for MM. The tweaks seem to be working.

Apps keep crashing

Situation:
- Rooted with magisk, got modules for dual speaker and v4a
- Just updated from 9.0.5 to 9.0.6 succesfully
- No twrp
But now im updated, 2 apps keep crashing. 1 is twitch and 1 is my carrier app.
They just instantly shut down. All the others apps do work. I have tried uninstall and reinstall. Also tried to clear cache and data.. No succes.
Anybody got an idea?
Did you find out about the problem? I have oneplus 7 pro magisk rooted and keeps crashing. Funny enough it used to work til today nothing has changed (no auto update etc) I cleared the data and catch, uninstall updates, restart and so nothing worked..

problem installing magisk

I've tried a few times to install magisk on my s4 but it doesn't work
I have twrp 3.2.3 installed
android 5.01
sgh-i337m
seems to say it installs, but when it reboots I get a message like
"Unfortunately the phone has stopped working"
If I click ok, the message just comes back and I can do next to nothing. I have once or twice seen a message after this about the samsung keyboard not working. I've tried wiping caches, but I have to do a restore before the phone will work again.
I've tried magisk 18.0 and 17.3 same result.
I'd use an old version of supersu (that I get to work without problems), but I wanted to use a backup utility that requires magisk. I only need the backup for call logs/sms/contacts etc. I can lose the calendar.
Any ideas on installing magisk?
Or if you know of some other way of installing logs/sms/contacts that doesn't require magisk, that would work also.
I want to try a custom rom, but I don't really want to lose the history of this stuff.
Thx
Edit: I should add that at the time I have tried this, the phone was NOT rooted. Supersu had been removed

Root System Access Issues Resolved

A while back I was able to achieve root on my ZTE 2050 (which also goes by about 20 other names.) I was continuously having issues with the phone locking up, I couldn't access the root files, as well as many other issues. I tried installing BusyBox to see if that helped. I was able to access the root files, but if I moved or deleted anything, the phone would begin to freeze up again. Every time it froze and I would restart it, I would lose cell service until I rebooted the phone between 4 - 6 times. Finally what I figured out is that the folder BusyBox was installing the applets in, /system/sbin, were fighting against Magisk and it's BusyBox. After deleting BusyBox and reinstalling it in /system/bin and applying the option to have it reinstalled upon every boot, I have no issues accessing and modifying the root system. Don't know if anyone else has had trouble with that, but if so I hope this helps. Now if I could only figure out why I lose stock recovery once the phone is rooted or could even install TWRP I'd be doing pretty good.
