Hi, i'm having issues with switch from 5ghz to 2.4ghz of the same WiFi. When I do this and try to open random app phone freeze and reboot automatically. I'm having this issues with all miui 11/12 rom (eu, global, eea). I think it can be "oldcam patch" issue.
If someone has had the same problems as me write it.

I am having this issue and really need help. I am running Paranoid Android 2.16 on my nexus 7.
The device is connected to wi-fi network, and I am routing fine. Yet, all of a sudden, I am not able to route with any browser.
I reboot the device, and after that wi-fi works perfectly and I am able to route.
This happens with any wi-fi network that I have tried.
The reboot solves this issue, yet i an tired of constantly rebooting.
Please help me solve this issue.
Upgrade to Paranoid Android 3.6 would be the first step I would perform to troubleshoot this problem.

Hi,
Right now I'm having issues with my Moto G4 Play and wifi. The problems is kind of reproducible ... after some days.
ROMs tried:
RR-N-v5.8.3-20170707-harpia-Official.zip
lineage-14.1-20170711-nightly-harpia-signed.zip
Symptoms:
- Wifi Scan doesn't work any more ... just showing SSID from some hours before
- Even not possible to connect to wifi when entering the SSID and security settings manually
- Disabling / Enabling the wifi doesn't help
Solution:
- Right now ... only a reboot fixes the problem
Anybody here facing the same problem?
Regards stefan1384
Had the same issue here as well but I swapped routers a day back and it hasn't happened again so far. Using RR-N-v5.8.3-20170707-harpia-Official.zip.
Probable solutions:
1. Reset your network settings of the modem/router if possible.
2. Flash the modem file from the latest available stock ROM and then clean flash the custom ROM.
3. Give the necessary logs (modem logs and dmesg along with the logcat) when you re produce the issue.

While not questioning the fix in your specific case the loss of WiFi scanning capability at the device level has absolutely nothing to do with the local AP (router).
Hello,
thanks for your feedback. With the Wifi APs it's a little bit complicated ... can't force the company where I'm working to replace their equipment ... I'm still not sure if it's caused by my home wifi or wifi at work.
I updated now to the latest lineage build: lineage-14.1-20170718-nightly-harpia-signed.zip maybe it's already solved there otherwise I'll maybe try to install a newer SomeFeak Kernel.
I'll post updates here.
Regards
Hi there,
I've been using my Oneplus 5 for quite a while with the following configuration:
OOS 5.0.4, Magisk 16.3, Boeffla Kernel 2.0, AFWall+ and everything worked fine. After upgrading to OOS5.1 (and Boeffla 2.1 Beta) I'm facing network connectivity issues.
Right after a fresh boot everything works fine. But then sometimes, networking (WiFi and Cellular) stop working. I can't get any data at all. Enabling and disabling flight mode doesn't help and disabling AFWall+ doesn't help either.
The network's are connected, I get IP Addresses and DNS Servers, but just no data
To get things working again I have to reboot the phone which is quite annoying. Anybody else facing this issues? Any suggestions?

It's definitely not the oos problem. Please backup and clean flash. I guess it's kernel or some of your apps like AFWall.
Reading this I felt kernel issue as well. Make sure you're not using the kernel you were using on. 5.04 (Oreo 8.0). Make sure you have a kernel from him that is made for OOS 5.1 (Oreo 8.1). Any thing from him that worked on the Open Betas should work fine
Solved it, was a problem withnAFWall+ custom script that no longer works on Oreo 8.1
