I'm wondering about the camera filter's they talked about. I really like to see cyberpunk colored filters actually. Also someone got the official applications extracted from the 8T's software but don't think all of them will run smoothly.

Yeap I'm aware of that but I don't think filters are related to hardware(if they are not using that filter camera module). Even though it won't get done by OnePlus itself, probably someone will add those as instagram filters, since image quality sucks in internet life it won't be a problem.

This is probably a custom rom with cyberpunk theme enabled inside. I couldn't find theme option after android 11 update in my OP 8 Pro device. Also he could be using another ui with the phone too like real me ui. But if I find anything cyberpunk related I'll be sending here ^^

Me and a friend ported it with the help of another couple friends. This is not a theme but the actual cyberpunk resources installed and activated taken from the 8t cyberpunk firmware. A mod will be available soon enough, v1 has some bugs and I'm making it easier for others to use. I don't typically make magisk mods, I build roms so this was just kind of a fluke while making trees in the first place. The version pictured above, the true 100% port, won't work like it should unless you have an 8t, sorry pro fellas. We have also successfully ported a new, as of yet unknown mclaren 8t special edition too. See attached pic for the warp 65 charging animation..

Hi. I am having trouble maximizing battery life. Im rooted with 5.1.1 voi and cannot get betterbatterystats, juice defender, or gsam root companion to work properly. Just was wondering if anyone knew anything about that. Also was curious about what apps or processes were safe to freeze/uninstall with tb. Battery life is great already but any tips any of you guys had on keeping it great would be appreciated...thank and cheers

try using Xposed Modules , also having 2 batteries (which is my current setup).

Draken, have you tried LG Apps Theme Engine. It does everything but get rid of the carrier on lockscreen, but the good news is the Dev is working on that as we speak.

na only Module i have is GravityBox which is not bad i just wish had the Carrier Change thing other than that is pretty good.....
wondering if there is a way to overclock this device at least up to 1.7

Never learned exposed framework. There are a ton of resources though...not sure how these modules would help my battery....i really like my stock rom but can someone post a link to cm 12.1....i think going to a different rom would fix this. I wish i could get slimbean or resurrection remix on this phone

Lets get this straight! i really like the overal UI and its new notifications control, storage, PiP mode, multi windows, more apps advance control, etc, and wrapped up with nicely smooth and its fluidity! i agree oreo brings more complexity for user exp,, Yes, we've seen this yet on 8.0 and should be upgrade to 8.x.x periodically.

I have tested this prototype. Good work by @YumeMichi.........
Defects :-
I have tested the Oreo prototype and found the following defects........
1. Still camera is not working
2. Bluetooth is not working
3. Ambient display and Double tap to wake is not working
4. Sometimes, AOSPKeyboard is crashing, especially when using swipe feature
5. Missing most of the features in 14.1 nightly version
6. WiFi Hotspot is not working
Hope you will fix these soon.

gents.... i think this device is using native 4k resolution..... it needs more testing...... but i nstalled aida64 and is detecting 4k res, without using the script (wm)....... there is a little problem with this..... lol.... now, play store apps are not compatible with my device..... it looks very nice.....no lag......... either way, i will further research on this.....
update: i gave some time and rebooted couple of times........now play store works fine.......
also, battery life is excellent, among other optimizations, i was able to reduce the core speed range from 180 mhz to 710 mhz.... but for some reason, it doesn't like to go lower than 257mhz..... so, it must be some setting in the kernel......
will keep you updated......

Leshi is the new name, they changed it after the company was taken over by a billionaire friend of Jia Yueting.
Unfortunately the company is still not doing too well. This is apparently why they can't afford to hire someone to build an update the OS or pay Google licensing fees. I read that the cost is 100K.
So yeah, it looks real. But, I'm not trying it, what could it possibly bring? Miui is a much better stocklike experience.
It's too bad because EUI could had been amazing. Imagine what brand new LeEco phones would have looked like! I would have bought a new one, especially if they kept the "disruptive " pricing.

Hi all,
Have jumped ship a few times to custom ROMs and have came back each time due to limitations of the cameras.
Yes there is Gcam. However the video isn't right. Slow motion is non existent (at least to the level that you'd call usable)
Third party apps don't seem to cut it either.
The Nokia APK does a great job at stills and video but again no slow motion and you cannot use 48MP.
So my question...
Does anyone know what is required to in normal circumstances, get the OnePlus camera to run?
Libs and framwork, etc? And can we obtain them in some way? To give them a whirl against a custom ROM? Even if it's just partial functionality, it would give us a starting point.

My previous OnePlus phones never has successful story about this too.
May be some Devs know why this is not possible.

I'd never say impossible, just think that the ever changing firmware and updates to ROMs may cause too much grief, plus because (I think) that the framework is required it may be a pain in the backside
There is an awesome dev called @AEonAX in Xiaomi devices. S/he managed to port stock Xiaomi camera to custom AOSP based ROMs. Maybe s/he can figure out the things if has a chance/free time to do that.

That'd be amazing, the device sorely needs it.. Having moved back to OOS I can safely say that the difference is night and day.

Sorry mate I've actually deleted it. But iirc the live bokeh did work.
It was a link on XDA, haven't got the APK no more as I didn't need it anymore.
Have a Google for it won't be hard to find.

No worries man, not you're responsibility..
It's definitely needed but without a device I'd imagine it'd be a colossal ballache.
If you were interested in giving it a whirl and needed testers..
I think I and many many others would be more than happy to assist.

OnePlus should release the Camera app on play store, like Google does. The gcam from play store just works on Pixel devices with LOS18.1 without any glitches.

Bounty program can be good i think. Are there any xda moderators to talk about that? If that thing okay, I think we can collect some money with paypal/cryptos to deliver the first dev who figure things out.

Yea could be good.
Usually people pledge money to get it done.. then pay up then it's fulfilled
If 50 people pledge a few quid each then there's a few hundred £££s to get it done.
Only issue I can foresee would be the terms of maintaining it .
I'm not sure if it works for one it'll work for another.
