[Q] G900A w/G900F Rom, doesn't want to reboot w/out pulling battery.

So I need Chinese language support(Full UI and everything) I bought my father in law a phone and he only understands Chinese, now the deal is I bought an AT&T G900A, I recently unlocked it to work with any carrier.
I installed Safestrap and flashed with VisionX G900F international ROM. It boots up and works fine, the problem I am having is, when I turn the phone OFF, the phone doesn't want to restart. I have to pull the battery out, put battery back in then it'll restart and run just fine., no problems.
If I restart the phone it does the same thing. It turns off then doesn't want to restart unless battery is pulled and put back in. The top left LED light stays on and lights up blue, the two bottom button stays lite up. Phone doesn't seem to be turning completely off.
Is there a possible way for me to strip the Chinese langauge support from the G900F rom and install it to the G900A rom? Or will I have to deal with pulling the battery out every single time the phone is restarted or turned off, just to get it to reboot?
I finally figured it out;
First off, I did search the forum first before posting and wasn't able to find anything. Upon doing some google searches I was able to find a solution.
Apparently, running a rom slot caused this booting error_ I deleted the rom-slot partition and attempted to flash the STOCK slot and from my previous attempts I didn't uncheck Mount SD Card. Apparently having this checked caused the phone not to boot when finished with flashing on the Stock slot.
I unchecked Mount SD Card, Wipe stock rom, Flashed G900F rom and it now works wonderfully. :good: It restarts just fine now too which is what I wanted. I am now an ANDRIOD FAN and believer, coming from being strictly on iPhones since the release of the iphone 3G

Phone Crashing after Samsung Logo

Hi guys,
I am having problems on my S7 Edge. The phone is stuck in a black screen and I tried restarting my phone by holding Volume Down + Power + Home for over a minute with no success. The phone is stock and rooted with TWRP and has been working fine for the last couple months. I tried plugging the power cable in and the battery screens shows up and I am able to restart my phone when the power is plugged in (battery over 80%). At this point it starts but after the Samsung logo appears it crashes again. I tried running the phone in safe mode but that did not work either. I am able to boot the phone into recovery mode and tried doing a Dalvik cache wipe. I get to the screen where Android is installing apps and after all apps got optimized it showed the home screen for about two seconds before crashing again.
After some more troubleshooting I took the sim card out and the phone is now running fine but whenever I put the sim card back in it crashes again. I tried turning airplane mode on and putting the sim card in which worked but once I turned airplane mode off it crashed again. My phone is Canadian version under Bell carrier. Just wondering if it is possible for a sim card to become corrupt and crash my phone like this? Are there any other areas I should check?
If anyone has some tips on what I can try it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Flash the latest Firmware using Odin by following this Tutorial step by step. Read everything at least once before you start the process!
Yes, it's possible for a SIM card, like anything else, to fail. Before messing with your factory software, I'd visit a carrier store and see if they'll let you try a different SIM.

Broken QuickWindow Sensor

Hello Everyone!
i will try to describe my problem in point by chronological order
- I broke display of my D802 with Cloudy G2 (KK) with possibly quickwindow option turned off (i do not remember), rooted and unlocked bootloader, and mounted a new one.
- Between broke and mounting new display elapsed 3 months, so i tried to reset Cloudy over system settings, for installing all apps and setting from begining.
- After that i had booloop, so i tried to go into TWRP, but every time i tried, logo of TWRP was showing for half of second and then screen was black (but backlight was working)
- After few times i tried to boot phone and it booted, but quickwindow clock shows up without possibility to unlock phone, so i tried to install cloudy g2 3.3 with quickwindow option off in aroma installer.
- After installation LG logo appered for quater of second and screen goes blank. In computer device was detected as QHSUSB_BULK, so i unbricked it without problem
- but after that there was need for install system over lg flash tool, so i installed original KitKat, but in "Firmware Update" screen there weren't red word Rooted. It seems to had locked bootloader and unrooted after QHSUSB_BULK repair.
- Then i booted clean original new KK, but there is also QuickWindow clock directly after booting system!
So for now i had:
- Kitkat
- Locked Bootloader
- Stock Recovery
- No root
- No usb debbuging (no adb)
- All time quickwindow clock
I tried to go into clock, weather, camera from down button and touch any soft button but there is no possibility to get into system and turn on usb debbuging for root, install recovery and install any CM based software to use phone like a charm.
I tried to unmount sim card, front and rear camera, proxmity sensor, take battery from inside to outside case f phone, antena wires and make a distance between mobo and case but no diffrence. Tried to use quickwindow case but it's not working....
AND FOR NOW when i am writing this problem screen turned on with noob system tips and system booted and i turnet on quick windows case! But it's not full solve.
Any ideas what may be a problem? I looked for photos and service manual of D802 and i know which one part on motherboard is magnetic sensor (becouse quickwindow working by magnet) but it's is not fired like other parts.
Sorry for not good English. I hope that you understand everything
