It is a pity that I cannot use LOS because of that failure that apparently has no solution

I recently flashed to Cm13 on my oneplus two and have no sound for incoming calls, all other sounds are fine. I've turned off the do not disturbed feature and even flashed it to Ressurection Remix rom, but still the problem persists.
Any help would be much appreciated.

What is a use of a phone that doesn't ring? I had missing a meeting and hiking trip because of this problem. One Plus must seriously recall this phone and compensate full refund.
I am using lineage 14.1 on my 9505 and the problem is when I calling someone they can't hear my voice,sometime other person can hear me but low voice... Any solution?

Does it occur when speaker on? Or without the speaker on?
A user reported a similar issue in the LineageOS 14.1 thread, also make a double check by switching to stock ROM and see if the problem persists, if yes then your mic is faulty and might need to be cleaned up or even replaced, if not then i suggest you report the problem in the ROM thread.

Hello, I have a problem with my OnePlus 2 under Resurrection Remix 5.8.5. During calls my contacts complain several times to get along and when I put calls on speakers they get very louder (for example, when a contact puts a pen on a table, the noise is repeated 10 louder and makes a big "clack"). I don't understand this bug because I have get it on my 3 previously ROMs (clean flash of each time of course) ...
I didn't find someone with the same problem as me so if someone have the solution please tell me...

I have LineageOS rom 14.1 from this thread which is now closed, so I cannot post there
The problem is that I cannot hear any sound no more. No incoming calls, no timers, nothing. At first I supposed I just lost my ringtones someway, but I can't hear also music and Spotify
What can be the problem? It's pretty serious, especially for the calls

I'm kinda new to the Mod community. A few days ago I successfully flashed to LineageOS 17.1 to receive security patches and get rid of the google services. Phone runs smoothly and nicely. Now there is just one annoying issue: Whenever I activate the loudspeaker in a voice call the call receiver doesn't understand me anymore. It seems like the microphone gets super silent. This happens in apps like Threema and WhatsApp.
Regular calls and voice recording work without any issues.
What have I tried so far to solve the issue:
Editing build.prop with commands I found on the internet
Activating different sound fixes using Magisk modules
Re-installing chat apps
Am I the only one with this problem? Do you have any other suggestions?

I've noticed this issue when downloading or using the google dialer app. If I use the android default dialer there is no issue.. Let me know if you found a fix in the end.

Hi,
I have same microphone issues in phone calls and voice calls in whatsapp. This also happens during a video recording in Essential camera or Gcam app.
But the sound of the microphone is good in the tape recorder application included with lineageos.
This is a bug that the essential team had fixed but which is present in lineageos since android 10.
Please report issue on https://gitlab.com/LineageOS/issues/android/-/issues/2209#note_378544829 , this will allow the information to be passed to lineageos developers.

Still no fix? Microphone on loudspeaker still doesn't work at all in voice chat apps like WhatsApp. Also the microphone quality without loudspeaker is very underwhelming. Call partner are complaining constantly
Do we know how the Essential devs fixed the problem after android 10 update?

I've tweaked around with several XML-files. Still no fix for me. Voice calls (WhatsApp, Telegram, ...) with loudspeaker on are still not working.
In the meantime several other people out there confirmed the error on GitLab:

But it seems like the critical mass is not yet reached
I've loudspeaker but work weird, microphone don't work or work very low, my problem is mainly can't lower the volume on videocall.
Could this problem be something out of lineageos? Like something missing of base ph1 system?
