Hey guys.

Want to roll back to OOS10, amongst other issues, I can't receive calls at the moment on one specific network.

Hi guys,
New to the forum here. I've flashed B170 a while back to get the most stable Lollipop edition, but I'd really like to try Marshmallow. The thing is, I can't figure out how to downgrade it back to B100/B121/B130 or to Upgrade it to B313. Is it possible to do either of those two things without an unlocked bootloader? There doesn't seem to be a way of flashing any packages on the phone, so I've sort of resigned myself to having to flash it via adb, but is this possible when I don't have an unlock code for the bootloader? Thanks for any help; I've really read through all the threads, but I couldn't come up with an answer.
Hi !
In order to upgrade to MM, you will have to downgrade to an upgradable version like B140. All the things you need are in the MM Upgrade topic of this forum.
In order to rollback from MM fo Lollipop, everything is explained in the same topic but you'll have to download a temporary system (B300) and then you'll be able to downgrade. Anyway, everything is in the MM Update topic.
I don't think you have to unlock bootloader to do all that but it would be easier because you would be able to use Honor 7 Multitool which is a software that does everything for you in no time
Good luck (MM version of the Honor 7 is awesome !)

Thanks for the reply! However, you can't use the B300 rollback on B170 (which is a Lollipop rom), can you? I've read the Marshmallow topic, and I was none the wiser - I can't seem to figure out if there's any way to get back to an upgradable version without flashing with the Honor tool (which requires an unlocked bootloader, non?). Sorry for the n00b-factor!

so many treads around here described the solution to do! Please use the search engine too
read following from there: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64673136&postcount=74
and...
try to flash the B313 Rollback file first!
Maybe it will stop with "not successful!" nearly ~93% but THIS DOESN’T MATTER! a reboot should bring you to interim B300. Then you should be able to flash the B121 Full update out of your dload folder from your internal SD. If this work, you should be able to update to B313. You do not lost your personal data, but make a backup to be sure!
Hi Folks,
Seeing around various section of all the models when users are struggling to restore their phone either due the flashing an incorrect firmware or after updating via Firmware Finder app and then wanting to rollback to earlier version of EMUI. They sometime cannot even flash the custom ROMs due to FRP lock or unable to flash the custom recovery and even after trying all the known methods, we struggle to restore their phone as they messed up badly with their phone and model or version change to something unexpected.
In this thread, lets discuss and share about rollback files available for various models (be it MM, Lollipop anything) so that new users could use it to restore to their original version and then update to official versions.
Hi,
thank you for this discussion.
I'm a new KIW-L21 user stuck on the firmware B370.
I read a lot of post and try update.app, stock roms, custom roms, TRWP backups, ...
So far impossible to downgrade to a pre-VoLTE L21 firmware to flash LOS.
I hope I will find a solution other than selling my phone.

Just boot to twrp.
Backup system+boot
Zip it. It will be around 1 GB with no personal data of yours.

Great to know that you managed it. Did you flash any recovery at all? Will try later to boot to TWRP and flash what you shared. Thanks!
You're right, I flash everything in the twrp backup except any recovery.

Use lenovo moto smart assistant and update your device. If you want your data then take a backup of it in twrp or app only.
After that flash latest TWRP 3.2.3.1 and root it by flashing magisk18.zip like you did with nougat.
Hi, I'm sorry if someone already asked this. I just finished updating my T-mobile HD1925 OP7T Pro McLaren to android 12 (automatic update) and would like to downgrade. Could someone please share the steps on how to backup and downgrade it? Thanks so much in advance
Downgrade with MSM tool. That will wipe all your data. You'll need to backup whatever you want saved using some other method first.
