Hello,
Is it possible to use <featureset> commands for LG just like SAMSUNG tu activate different functions?
I'm interested in activating RCS feature in stock messaging app. There are something in /system/product/etc, like futureset.xml, futuresetopen.xml.
Thank you.

Hello, I would like to ask if it is possible to TP2 with HTC and WM6.5 ROM 1.86.401 somehow break in voice dialing via BT in the ear (Nokia BH-105). I've been looking everywhere on the net and forums, but I really did not find anything while I think it's pretty useful thing that works for most MT to BT, so the WM would probably also not be a problem. ... maybe ...
Thanks much
if i understand what your asking, you want a program called Voice command. This will allow you to use your BT to dial contacts & any phone # plus many other things. here is a link to the cab file thanks to "dotcompt"

Yes, you understand me well. The program is good but I could not find any commands. When I say "help" so HTC says only some commands. Do you know where I can find others? Thanks
To enable voice commands for Media Player, you must enable a setting found in Settings->Personal->Voice Command (make sure there is an X next to 'Media').

Thank you for the reply,, I am not sure what the problem is but here is what happens.. when I say send text , it brings up a search in google instead of the text.... same for send email,,, also I can call businesses near me by saying their name in the rom without sense but in sense when I say Call Kmart it pulls up a google search with results from all over the country
It does work when I say navigate or call contacts name,,, but that seems to be the only part that works correctly.
I have installed all updates from market and voice commands works very well for me as long as the rom does not have sense. My wife loves the Sense interface so I am trying to get it working for her
Appreciate any ideas or suggestions, thanks

Easy: go to phone (where you usually input numbers) and you'll see a new keyboard layout, in which you have numbers and chars as well. If you input any number the t9dialer will look for contacts including that number or corresponding char. See attachment
Well... seems that the screen capture has problem :banghead::thumbup:
Sent from my HTC Tattoo using XDA
thank you very much!!
another question... if possible
How to calibrate the G-sensor?
Thanks
guess it's not possible with this rom... I use to have it in 1.6... a long time ago..I almost forgot it. Try to send a message to other users, maybe opening a new thread. Sorry that I can't help.
S
ok .. no problem!!
thanks again
You have programs that you can download from Android Market (Play Store) and with them you can re-calibrate G-sensor of your phone.
Can't remember now how those applications are called. If I remember, I'll edit this post.
lol dont feel bad, i was about to ask a similar question but found this thread
Just type the beginning of someones number in Phone app, and it will automatically show your contact.
My thought about this is just useless feature for lazy people.

This is for anyone interested in using the stock Japanese keyboard including Japanese handwriting. Using yubimusubi's post from a different thread, I was able to get the Samsung Japanese keypad from the Docomo variant of the Galaxy Note II working on my N7100. Place these files in the appropriate directories of your system folder.
The files I used are as follows:
APKs:
system/app/iWnnIME_T0.apk
system/app/Maruberi.apk
system/app/Mazec.apk
system/app/Mincho.apk (not necessary, but I think it's a Japanese font)
Fonts:

Working:
Mazec handwriting (!!)
Alphabet keyboard (full-width & half-width)
numbers keyboard
symbols/emoticons
hiragana-Kanji henkan (変換 - allows changing hiragana to kanji)
katakana (full-width & half-width)
Credit for discovering the original files goes to yubimusubi! All this is is my effort to streamline it and pinpoint exactly which files are relevant and which are unnecessary.
Download (51.4 MB) - Not a flashable zip. Use a File Explorer program to place the files in the appropriate directories of your system folder, then restart your device. You must have root access!
But where's the file?

Added to first post! Let me know if it works for you!
Thanks a lot ^^
Gonna try and will tell you if its work ^^
One problem: seems for emoji, you have to enable the emoji supported text field.
I have tried once with Google Japanese Keyboard and it unable to input DoCoMo's emoji into text field (like in email).
Is this keyboard able to input emoji (not iOS6 emoji, but DoCoMo/Japan standard emoji)?

Sorry. I'm not exactly sure what you mean.
If you mean the emoticons that use actual pictograms, I don't think this keyboard is capable of that.
As far as I know, this keyboard's emoticons are pure ascii characters (ie. (^ ^)d (^O^) \(^_^)/ ) same as the Japanese WNN keyboard.
For me, I haven't had a keyboard yet that has pictogram emoji built in. In my experience, they are built into individual messaging/mail programs as opposed to individual keyboards. If you know otherwise, please let me know.
IT WORKS!!!!! ^^
Glad to hear it! よかった!:good:
IT WORKS IN MY NOTE 8:laugh: ... thank you very much!!!.. now i can write japanese and learn japanese from my note 8 more effectively
どうもありがとうございます:victory:
so appreciated to find this thread. Thank you so much. It works! I signed up literally just for your post!
however, kind of sorry to learn that Japanese keyboard is separate. I'd thought that I could easily switch between languages with just a tap. Now still have to go through all the trouble to constantly pull down the notification menu to change keyboards. one more inconvenient thing is that the keyboard doesn't scale down when the phone is set to multiwindow mode. Hope that samsung will make some changes in the future.
とにかく ありがとうございました!
I'm looking for a simple dialer. My imagination is select some contacts in the phone or it could use just favorite contacts and it should display them on watches and when I click on the contact, a call should be made.
I found this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xuecs.SpeedDial
but I have significant issues with synchronization and also calling sometimes doesn't work but if it would be bugless it would be exactly what I imagine.
Does somebody know any similar dialer but working well? Thaks
P.S. I live in non-english speaking country and our names are not able to recognize to voice commands.
Take a look on this one..
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.guidology.android.minidialer
Does exactly what you ask for, is one of the main i use along with hand dialer https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jxt.handdialer
I use two since i only call a few numbers and they are marked as favorites on the MiniDialer and Hand Dialer to hang up the call and know how many minutes i have on the call..
Thanks, it is EXACTLY what I needed. On the pLay is not screenshot of speed dial so I thought that the feature is missing. Great
Yes, so weird they don't show the feature on the screenshots, or even on the description. But they do mention it on the changelog, and i'm using it right now
