No internet without Wifi - Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Questions & Answers

Hello,
after installing Atom + Gapps + Magisk ROM,
Internet access without Wifi does not work!
Even if I activate the LTE (4G) option, it does not work with Firefox for example
Already had this problem with other ROMS
I can't find any particular option other than activating WIFI
Provider: Bouygues Telecom
Thanks for your help

Currently, I switched to COLTOS-v6 dating from 10/14/2020
Same operation.
I check if the installation of the ROM has been done according to the recommendations of the person in charge, a priori, everything has been done correctly.

With a clean install of EvolutionX 4.7 with Magisk 20.4, no more problems at all.
For the other ROMs, I will wait for the switch to Android 11
I even found that the Magisk problem was solved
Everything's fine

Trouble getting a marshmallow ROM to work

I tried the latest dirty unicorn ROM and the resurrection remix rom and I am having trouble with the data and calls. It says that it can't recognize the Sim card (though it works fine on the stock rom).
I found on the RR official page that I just have to turn the cellular data off and them back on and my LTE connection works, but I can't make any calls. It says my cellular data connection isn't working but I can get on the internet, wifi, bluetooth, etc.
I have tried this as well "Go to apps then default apps then tap phone for the default call app"
Is there a fix for the SM-N900V?
I'll keep looking, but if anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it!
Has anyone had this problem with the SM-N900V and got it working? I love the RR rom and 6.0 mm, please help.

Bluetooth not working with 7.1.1 aosp stable x - Jiayu s3a

Hello,
First of all, sorry for my bad english, i'm french and not very good
Thanks for reading me and the help you give me on xda (even if i never post, i always find my solution on the forums )
I'm actually on CM13 6.0.1 20160810 beta, working quite good since then, but my system is going completely drunk, my sim is not working any more (only my sim), wifi problems etc.
Factory reset is a solution but i have to setup again all my apps, so I want to update to 7.1.1 and then setup all my apps on a new rom without the bugs i used to.
I create this thread because i tried to install MAD Team aosp 7.1.1, stable 7 and also stable 8 and succeeded, but bluetooth is not working...
The problem i have is when i install this rom, bluetooth is written as "Disabled", and when i turn it on, it stays greyed 10 seconds and returns to OFF.
I tried many things :
-install starting from CM13 with factory reset
-install starting from CM13 without factory reset
-install starting from CM13 with format data
-install official 5.1 after factory reset + format data, then install 7.1.1
-factory reset after installing 7.1.1 with all methods over
I'm out of ideas, not finding useful things on the web, even on XDA threads :crying:
It's not hardware problem, my BT works perfectly on CM13 actually, and when I reinstall CM13 after a 7.1.1 fail (with or without restoring my data), it works again...
If you have any idea, i'm desperate :fingers-crossed:
Thanks for your help
I had the same problem the first time I enabled Bluetooth, but rebooted the phone (just one time) worked. Now Bluetooth works perfectly.
Thanks for your quick answer, I tried it this morning but no result.. :crying:

[SOS]I can't Turn On WiFi/BT (IP unavailable, MAC 02:00...) on MadOS 7.1.1

Hi, i have Jiayu S3 Advance (3Gb), i've used Xtreme rom for a while, and yesterday i tried to change to Official madOS 7.1.1, at first i only use Wipe Data and it works more or less fine, but it remembered somethings like photos, apps and so on, so this morning i decieded to do a "Clean" install of madOS 7.1.1 + SuperSU, so i did Advance Wipe and choose Data, Cache, and so on, then i could install the OS correctly, but when i tried to install SuperSU i only got stuck in bootanimation, so i stop trying and only use the mobile without SuperSU for a couple of hours (i started to configurate things but i skip use wifi because i was in the street). This night i've noticed that my mobile didn't connect to my WiFi, so i've checked and only get the button of Turn On WiFi changing to Off automatically, i've try to re-install again 7.1.1 without fix the problem, i've flash Modem 20160712.zip, etc but i only get the message IP UNAVAILABLE, and the MAC address 02:00:00:00... The IMEI is fine, is the only thing that didn't change...
Other thing according to the superSU, i've only get the superSU with Magisk and phh'superSU
What can i do? I'm dessesperate, maybe install Xtreme with FlashTools with my computer like the first time, and then change to madOS? I don't want to do nothing without advise

Various issues after rooting my S5

Hi there,
after I spent too much time searching, trying and failing to find a solution I will post my problem here. Note that I am not too deep into tech stuff...
So I purchased an almost new used Galaxy S5 SM-G900F Qualcomm 4G (Telekom Version was installed).
I rooted it via CF-Auto-Root package Flash in ODIN and set Lineage OS as custom ROM using TWRP Recovery and installed gapps as well. Everything worked fine so far it seemed. I rootchecked it as well and everyhting seemed well... Till I noticed that my camera was not working at all (black screen) and the flashlight didnt work as well (both worked before root). I wiped everything from the phone via TWRP recovery and installed Lineage OS again. But that didnt help. It even got worse - wifi is not working too on top of that - no reaction when I touch the wifi symbol in the dropdown menu and neither in settings.
I even tried to reinstall a stock ROM but I face the same problems there: no Wifi, no camera, no flashlight.....
Maybe there is any help out there? Thank you in advance!
I used:
lineage-14.1-20170705-nightly-klte-signed.zip
open_gapps-arm-7.1-nano-20170709.zip

Network Connectivity Issue after upgrading to OOS5.1

Hi there,
I've been using my Oneplus 5 for quite a while with the following configuration:
OOS 5.0.4, Magisk 16.3, Boeffla Kernel 2.0, AFWall+ and everything worked fine. After upgrading to OOS5.1 (and Boeffla 2.1 Beta) I'm facing network connectivity issues.
Right after a fresh boot everything works fine. But then sometimes, networking (WiFi and Cellular) stop working. I can't get any data at all. Enabling and disabling flight mode doesn't help and disabling AFWall+ doesn't help either.
The network's are connected, I get IP Addresses and DNS Servers, but just no data
To get things working again I have to reboot the phone which is quite annoying. Anybody else facing this issues? Any suggestions?

It's definitely not the oos problem. Please backup and clean flash. I guess it's kernel or some of your apps like AFWall.
Reading this I felt kernel issue as well. Make sure you're not using the kernel you were using on. 5.04 (Oreo 8.0). Make sure you have a kernel from him that is made for OOS 5.1 (Oreo 8.1). Any thing from him that worked on the Open Betas should work fine
Solved it, was a problem withnAFWall+ custom script that no longer works on Oreo 8.1
