I just rooted my s7 edge and I was looking for a Bootloader unlock but I heard that the s7 doesn't have a Bootloader unlock and never will? Can someone confirm this information?
Is there an ability to unlock the Bootloader, if not is there a chance that it will be unlocked?
The Snapdragon version of the Edge isn't (currently) unlockable, but the Exynos (International version) is. Your bootloader is unlocked if you managed to successfully root.

What are you even talking about? You're rooted. It's done. Nothing is locked.

I have the p10 lite and i was wondering if i could unlock the bootloader of the device, its locked on tesco mobile so i was wondering if its even possible to unlock the bootloader of a carrier locked device. I have managed to get and unlock code from Huawei myself now i was just wondering if unlocking the bootloader would cause any problems within the device. I was going to unlock the bootloader to root my phone and even install a custom rom but is this allowed when you're on a carrier locked device?

On the J7 OEM Unlock was required for root. Is the same true of the V35 on AT&T?

The Russian or Chinese guys that can root it will tell you that when they remote into your phone. You can't do it yourself at the point in time.
So it serves no puroose? Hmm.
Hi,
How can I unlock the bootloader to install twrp in a SM-T387W?
It's a Fido (Canadian carrier), sim locked Galaxy tab a 8.0 running Android 9.
Enabling dev options doesn't let me see the OEM Unlock switch, even after reboot.
I would like to install twrp and then flash magisk.
All the questions about that specific version are not answered in the previous posts.
Thank you
Julie
any luck?

Either OEM unlock is not supported on that Model, or you have to wait 7 days to turn on OEM unlock.
