What happened to this rom? I went to the official thread to update, as I'm still running version 2.5, only to realize that there aren't any links.
What's going on?

I'm am currently using 3.3,I have also made a patch to make the FP scanner work,and it's working flawlessly,I have Messaged to Malbert about it,waiting for a reply,As soon as I have his permission,I'll release the method publicly.....

Version 3.3 is the best if the volume panel is fixed. 3.3 is faster and more stable than 3!

Guys just calm down,the patch is not perfect but it works and it is not easy to set it up,requires a little replacing of system files manually and it also causes a few problems,but it works,although the problems are not too big and might be fixed,I am still waiting to hear from malbert as he has not seen my message...as soon as i get the green light i will post the whole procedure here...currently I am thinking about making a video review as a proof and to show you guys the problems...Cheers

That's true in your screenshot. But in my device I have .184 with date 24/10
And yours with date 30/9
And in release notes in asus website the last update is .198 with date 12/10
I don't understand why that. ?

If you have MM then it makes sense for it to be from last week. I'm still on LP. I missed the fact that the version number starts with 2.21 and not 2.20. It's probably because there already was a 2.20.40.184.

The latest version is of 4.21.40.184 which is M.
Older one that you had,it was 2.20.40.184..thats L... u got .194,.198 after that... but its a new series starting from 4.21.40.112(android M)
#in asus website, still they haven't updated it as it requires few time to build complete firmware.

if you are sure is new mm update I suggest you to change thread name including mm reference, for now the title seems referring to the 184 lollipop update.
sure a new mm update will have many users interested

This update has fixed a lot of the issues I have been having (screen filter, Bluetooth). Also security patch is updated to November 1, 2016. Worth the update imo. Battery is the same as before

It's 4.1.0, not 4.1.1.

Do not try to update via OTA if you have TWRP/root. OTA update is only for stock

Got it in Germany too.
I updatet to 4.1.0 via TWRP. The System OTA Screen told me i'm rooted and that a full Update is needed. Also, it told me, it'll delete root. So, is the OTA Update like a dirty flash of full 4.1.1? So, just flash magisk after the update and everything's ok?

All went smooth. Downloaded via Setting/OTA. Since i'm rooted i got the Full Download automatically. Just flashed it via TWRP, Magisk 11.6 afterwards. Booted, and reinstalled Franco kernel from FK App. Everything's fine :good:

It's Uploading. Full OTA is 1.4 GB, i'm uploading at 2MB/s. So give it some time...

I unroot 4.1.0 with unroot device in supersu.
Then with the vpn get the ota,then booted in twrp ,no flash ,and sideload supersu again.
Tada root 4.1.1

I didn't download yours. But in your link under details it says "1GB" for filesize. Might be google "rounding" it...

Install OxygenOs OTA using Opera VPN

Since i found many people asking the way they can install newest OOS update,i just want to share with you a tip on how you can get the OTA:
1.Download OPERA VPN app from the PlayStore (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.opera.vpn).
2.enable it and set it to Canada or Germany.
3.On parameters/system updates,search for the update you'll get the OTA available for download.
PS:This will only work for no rooted users!.

I've used the app mentioned in the OP and changed it to Canada keep getting system up to date . Do I have to be connected to wifi ? Or something im lost ? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

I'm doing this right now. Worked like a charm. Update is pretty big but it is downloading.

Nothing special, download opera vpn run it and changed to Canada. Went to system update and the update appeared. I turned VPN off and was able to download and install. No issues.
