the only rom have that stock cam is Super-rom
but i need it in another oreo rom
so please help me to find it

hello my device had a xcuan firmware. i m trying to install a custom stock rom based; all are based on xxuan firmware and the camera doesnt work ..i tried to install the fix for camera (for example bradex rom) but doesnt works... how is it possible?

I managed to unpack the apk from the system.img and repacked a lot of camera related stuff into a flashable zip but I always get a fc when i launch the app with resurrection remix rom from the section here.
Anyone can make it to work?
Maybe it do not work on non touchwiz rom... Only "universal" Samsung apps should work in RR..

Hi, I know this thread is a month old but anyway here is the apk. It will NOT work on any custom rom and this is one of the reasons I'm staying with stock rooted oreo
is it just me or nougat stock camera quality (front camera) is better than stock oreo?
I don't have any experience in app porting, but i extracted the camera files from stock rom.
If someone can please port the camera app. Or post a guide how to port stock apps to custom rom.
There are some features that are missing from gcam as compared to stock cam.

I'd like to know it too! I was thinking to make a backup of the stock camera via Titanium Backup, then restoring it after the custom ROM had been installed, but I did not try yet.
