Hello,
I have PX5 Isudar with latest Android 10 and latest MCU. I have installed latest Android because I was thinking it will fix my problem with the Vehicle.app
Vehicle.app is not working properly and it is working only (sometimes) when engine is not running, in some cases it is working when I make contact with key. But in most of the time i can not see doors open/closed, handbreak, seatbelt, rpm - nothing if device is running and engine is started.
I have Golf V 2006, two doors 77kw.
is there any updated vehicle. app so I can try on my Car?
Thanks
Hi, not Android auto topic, so requested mod moves. You might receive or find answers to your Android Head Unit question after identifying your head unit and asking in the appropriate forum.
Also contact your reseller for support if not already and list that, with any steps taken.
Thank you,
I can send more infos, just let me know what you need?

A new unit was just released for the 2004-2008 Acura TSX, which is a first as removal of the stock radio removes the dual zone climate controls as well. This is an awesome surprise for the TSX community, as before we were stuck with a god awful replacement for the stock CC system if we wanted to use a double din.
Anyhow, I've reached out to E-Tong and a representative sent me some images of the About Device screen. I was hoping the community here might shed some information based on what little info I have.
This is the unit in particular:

Now I'm assuming this has an Intel Sofia 3GR, particularly the Atom x3-C3200RK, as no 3G connectivity is listed for the unit outside of "support 3G dongle". I'm basing this on the Mali-450, lack of native 3G support, and 3200 in "Machine Code Response". Other than that, I'm guessing.
Assuming I'm correct, would the Sofia 3GR with 1GB RAM on 6.0 be adequate for Pandora/Spotify and Waze? I have no real other desired usage outside of that and rare bluetooth calls, with maybe the exception of playing some movie files for my kids on long road trips via a USB drive.
If so, anything to be aware of up front? I'm assuming I should be prepared to remove the unit cover and add a heatsink and fan assembly to the SoC package already. Suggested mods or tweaks?
Any and all information appreciated. I'll be relaying this information to my TSX forums as well. Thanks everyone!
Anyone have any insight?
Hey there, i just bought a radio from aliexpress for my 2003-2007 honda accord and all my info lines up with yours. I was wondering if you found out any information on it? Do you know the firmware to use to update the MCU? Thanks!
** EDIT if you care still lol
Are unit is joying software. If you look on their forum you can find a screen shot that matches ours. I ran that update and ran the root for joying devices from here and it worked great. I got viper4android installed and got some custom mods installed and it's working great.

I am thinking of buying this unit, how is it in your TSX? I currently have a non-nav TSX so I don't know if I will need to mess with the wiring harness or not.
Any help?
I have the same unit, and the clock and GPS doesn't work anymore. I wanted to reset to factory or try and upgrade it. I have it in my TSX now.
Can you advise any suggestions or recommendations?
On every start up the time goes back to 2013, 11:00pm. The only way to fix it, is go find a wifi, since GPS doesnt work.
I tried contacting XEOWYN, with no luck. I regret buying this.

Might be a long shot, but I'm having issues with my unit and would like to try and update the firmware and/or software. I'm currently on android 6.0, been seeing the newer models are on android 8.1. I tried searching through the joying forum as you suggested with no success.... Is there any possible way that you could lead me to a specific solution? Thank you for your time and good day to you.
Got the same device, but still on Android 5.
Joying firmware gets looped on MCU update, if I remove the folder with MCUs and the update binary, it stops with "OTA package and app package need to be updated at the same time"
Any advice?
Hi there!
I've bought a Bosion HU (4gb ram 64 rom chipset ac8257) and works really well compared to my previous unit (PX5 2gb ram). I've registered at 4PDA forum to get some information about software but I can't find too much info about this unit..Any experience with this kind of software? I get used to the PX5 units so now I'm completty lost about this new chipset.....MCU...

Thanks in advance.
hey. i know its an old thread but I ve got the bosion HU.., already followed the almost dead thread at 4PDA Forum also. This head unit is crap, honestly spoken, do you have an idea if there are alterntive firmwares maybe from other manufactures that would work with the boison units? my BT calling feature stopped working after last update what has been talked about at 4PDA also. In addition I do not like much the apprearnce of the start-screen and many other minor issues too... now I am in hope that somebody has found a good working alternatively firmware file that is way better than the boison one? sorry for my bad english..
Hi! Same situation on my side.....I've tried another Android units before and this one it's not bad....I've not found another compatible firmware....If you find something please post it
I've just purchased this ac8257 b200 unit and I'm NOT loving it. My px5 with frequent wifi dropouts is preferable.
Does anyone else have an issue with the accessibility downloaded services being disabled after a short period? I've added the apps to be excluded from Battery optimisation and ensured battery saver is off and even made the apps device admins if the app can be but within an hour the services are disabled.
Also, Google voice typing seems to be like the old android 6 version with the big grey rectangle covering the lower half of the screen while listening for voice input and if it fails because the internal mic is crap I can't get it to cancel to go back to the keyboard. I usually have to exit the app and relaunch it.
UPDATE: Apparently Duraspeed is a separate task manager/battery optimisation app that comes with these units. I've now tried turning that off as well as enabling it and adding the apps as exclusions and the downloaded services are still disabled after a short period.
Google Maps also runs much slower than my previous 4Gb px5 unit.
You have probably found this post already but I got an update for my unit here. https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...with-android-11-android-auto-wireless.4467385

Not Android Auto, requested moderator move to (Android head units).
First point of contact is seller, what do they offer.
Op try searching forums (SP9853I_1H10) there is loads of information from what I could see.
Also, if you want Android Auto, these Chinese greyboxes are NOT.

Hi everyone,
I’m looking to see if anyone has seen or has any ideas about integrating bi-directional functions into the OS. I’ve seen a lot of scan tools built on Android that let you check and operate the system modules on the vehicle. Seems like a great tool to have for any vehicle problems so I was hoping to find something similar to the scan tools that I can run on Android Auto OS. Maybe I am over looking something. My plan is to use a Raspberry Pi 4b 8gb model for my project. Thanks for any advice.
I'm looking for a bidirectional USB dongle that will integrate with the android head unit. I'm not as worried about the AA functionality so much, but it would be cool.
Android head unit (chinese origin greybox) or Genuine Android Auto head unit?

Eonon rk3566 so Chinese head unit...has android 11 and Android auto if that helps. Running vivid launcher as home screen but haven't figured out how to get it to connect to my phone's data without initiating Android auto.

I recently bought a used car with the PX5 android tablet system installed and it works pretty good but I realize that the firmware is quite out of date and I’m not sure how to find the model of my unit so that I can research the correct way to update the firmware. The other question is do i actually need a firmware update? Or just update Autoplay for use with my iPhone 11 pro?
the main issues is system lag, map delay and audio connection for phone calls.
Here are a few pictures of the system info and I would love some help from any of you legends.
*if the pictures are hard to see let me know and I’ll retake in dark environment
