An Aosp Rom Available For Our Device (Redmi 3S)?

Hi! Just a question.
Is there an AOSP ROM for the Redmi 3s? Like the one from the Redmi note 2 by vova.vafin?
Which is great in terms if fluidity, battery friendly and obviously the pure stock Android looks.
But a ROM like that to our devices would look and feel f***in' awesome!
I know that this device is new in terms of development, but for the sake of asking. Is there any?

There are but they're not quite read for prime time yet. Someone tried porting Resurrection Remix as well as CM13 for the 3S but both ROMs are basically the same in terms of bugs/lack of polish because Xiaomi haven't (yet) released the kernel sources (for example, neither supports video at the moment). Once this is done, it should be easier for ROM development work to begin.
All we have to do now is hope that Xiaomi do indeed release the sources quickly because they can take their time in doing so.

Like some of developers @Umang96 Radon Kernel developer For Redmi Note 3 Said that if we donate a Redmi 3s this can be possible.

Hey @adityaon instead of donating a device to the developer of radon kernel why don't we support @nibaji who is already trying to build a kernel and came up with a kernel. What is your opinion.

I have no problem to contribute, if any good developer officially declared that it really adopt.

[Firmware] Official Xiaomi Mi Max 2 firmware sources [OXYGEN]

Hello everyone,
I've seen few days ago a new that has shown up about Xiaomi releasing official firmware source code for Xiaomi Mi Max 2!
This is really great news and I hope that there will be ROM porters soon!
Beside this I have seen that ported LOS by @xuefer thread is locked due to not complying with GPL but maybe he is interested into continuing his work on LOS?
I love device but I hoped for a bit more development. It really ticks many points in terms of hardware.

no worries, development is slowly but surely starting now we have RR, LOS, AOKP, Mokee OSP for AOSP based roms already, so thats nice plus a ton of MIUI based custom roms. im sure it will only get better from here on out!
btw, why did u open this thread in the ROM section...? this fits probably better in the guides/news/discussion section...

You can PM him. But it's his choice. He may not have time to support our device.
Maybe someone can use his source as base (our device is 3.18.x i don't know whether elementalX has 3.18 branch)

Would be nice to have some more options regarding custom kernels for this device.
