It honestly surprised me. It's no OLED display but comes close even tricking you to think that the screen is off under room-like lighting
I love the contrast but the colors are a bit off, to much green or something. Tried to adjust with 3rd partie app, but stays strange, got used to it now, so i don't care so much. (XT1794)

Running apps in dark mode, the black space looks like the phone is asleep. I've never seen blacks like this on a phone, though it is my first LED.

When looking at the phone head on, the blacks are literally that. Completely black and you cannot see them apart.
Blacks are blacks but with minimum brightness it seems like they are not all black but very dimm. Its okay... 4*

I think the display is pretty adamn good, the blacks are really deep and for a while i believed it was amoled, when yo hide the notch you really dont see the grey stuff , its like all black. I liked it

Samsung. OnePlus has always sourced it's AMOLED panels from Samsung. OP7 is no different.
