SM-T585 Invalid Kernel Length - Samsung Galaxy Tab A series Questions & Answers

Hi, my tablet seems to have bricked itself with stock firmware and without root.
How do i go about getting it usable again?
Software went on the same day as my Nvidia shield that no longer responds to inputs.

Lost root on the shield...

I successfully rooted using teletype's guide Shield Android TV rooted from this forum, combined with Tutorial: Root Shield Android TV 500GB (Marshmallow) from the Nvidia Shield Zone website. I think the main reason I had to borrow from the latter was that I could not get a cursor to load on the screen in TWRP using the file in the first guide, despite trying 4 different types of mice. Also, there was something in it about drivers which helped I think.
I was able to use Market Helper fine a few days ago but when I tried last night it told me it could not activate as the device was not rooted.
Did this happen because of an update and is there anyway to avoid this happening in the future while still receiving updates?
Can I re-root without having to reconnect my laptop up again?

SM-T530NU Spontaneous Rebooting

Hello fellow XDA'ers.
I'm looking for some help in resurrecting a tablet I recently bought off of someone..
The issue with the tablet plays on multiple ROMS.
With the stock Samsung OS, the tablet gets past the boot-loader, hits the first few frames of the boot animation and freezes, Reboots and repeats the process.
With the same firmware and Lineage OS, the tablet does the same thing but not as quickly.
The neat thing is that if we leave the tablet to rest for a few hours, the farther the boot process advances.
We've gotten into both OS' setup screens, but lineage was able to get to the part of telling us that theres a missing SIM card.
Which this tablet does not contain a sim card reader...
Could I possibly have the incorrect Firmware image on the tablet or a bad motherboard?
The device has been verified as a SM-T530NU via serial sticker located on the back.
Model Number : SM-T530NZWAXAC
Model Name: SM-T530NU
I used this firmware to bring it back to stock
I would love to receive some help in terms of pulling logs (Samsung Hardware Logs - Not dmesg)
and finding the culprit to this non-booting Tablet. I will compensate for the work as well
Here's a paste bin of dmesg if that might help

Do you by any chance know if you have connectivity issues with wifi or BT?
See my thread as I have been working through this issue and let me know what we maybe can hash through together.

Samsung Tab 4 8.0 (T337T) stuck at T-MOBILE boot up screen.

My son no longer uses his Tab 4 8.9 T337T tablet.
I was able to root it using CF Auto Root.
But, the TWRP recovery that was made for it might had messed up the tablet.
It boots up as far as the T-Mobile screen.
I found the T337T firmware to use with ODIN and I can get to download mode and the tablet is recognized by ODIN.
However, when I go to place the files into ODIN, the program goes to eventually a not responding state.
I had encountered a Set Warranty Bit: Kernel issue.
Amy suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated.
Also, is there any way for me to change the firmware to a wifi-only model firmware?
Looks like I figured it out after trying a half dozen options...
pit file could yuo have it

Shield TV Pro (2015) died

So my shield totally died last weekend. It will only boot to fastboot and will not accept a flash nor boot to recovery. Not sure if I should try swapping out the drive and seeing if I can bring it back to life. Anybody has any suggestions or ideas? Just trying to decide if it's worth it to bring back or if I should just invest in a 2019 Shield Pro.
Cheers,
B.D.
Why did the shield die?
Mine died when I upgraded to 8.2, everything before was perfect.
Now I have dumped a backup following these steps https://forum.xda-developers.com/shield-tv/general/guide-migrate-to-ssd-hdd-size-satv-pro-t3440195
the version was very old and was much updating without problems, until it reached 8.0 and died again

Mine died due to the hard drive failing. I can get it back up to 8.0 but I'm trying to recover my widevine encryption keys. Crossing fingers that ddrescue will come through.

shield 2017 apx mode

How can i boot the shield (2017 16GB) into apx / rcm mode?
i have the same question. My intrest is more in tinkering with the tegra x1 in order to get a different root solution not contingent on nvidias closed source crap. I'm running a 2015 foster model and it is getting increasingly difficult to find tutorials on that system specifically with the newer updates. +i am interested in learning the process to exchange the hdd and mopy and manipulate the widevine keys that don't work on mine after the forced 7.2.3 update that occured with all update sofware removed from my system that also fried my controller with a botched firmware update that is blacklisted and not mentioned on the internet except people asking and all replies deleted. you know general unfettered access to the system without the bootloaders say so .
