So I just got OTA notification about MP6 Android 9 update for my Black Shark 2 but it says to skip it if I'm not planning to update to JOYUI 11. Anyone knows why is that? I want to stay on clean Android instead of Miui but I want to update to MP6 because of newer security patch.

I brought mi A1 on 17 Jan 2018,android version is 7.1.2, security patch level is 6 Nov 2017, i checked for latest update but it showing 'your system is up to date' how I Wii get Oreo update and what time it will take for getting update
Seems like Xiaomi stopped the Oreo update due to bugs. Wait until its released again.
On the other hand, they might stopped the OTA all together.. I've seen august security patch with no update.
Hi guys, I was thinking about installing the Android 11 beta on my Huawei P Smart, because I want my phone Up To Date (without wasting money) and because I really love the stock Android experience. But, I came with 2 questions:
1-Because it's not an official update, what are the things that I should be aware of before doing it (like performance drop, bugs,...)? I'm talking about the stable version because I know that the beta will always have some kind of bugs.
2-When the Stable version is released, can I make an upgrade from the Beta to the Stable without having to wipe my data (like a regular and an official Huawei's system update)?

Hi all, today I received the OTA for update to the latest Android 11. I wanted to ask a couple of questions to the experts:
1)Is the process to maintain root the same as always or has something changes?
2)anyone knows if the same version of xxx No Limits is compatible with Android 11 or must I remove it / look for a version compatible with android 11?

Does anyone has info abou what happens with the updates, because last Stable Oxygen 11 that was posted here in XDA can't be installed, it says my 6t-beta3 is newer than Stable11 and can't be downgraded?
I was on version 10 and didn't received OTA for android 11, so i upgraded by using posted here on XDA , android 11 beta2, then received OTA for beta3, and now cant install Stable 11.
