Reverting back to MIUI - Redmi K20 / Xiaomi Mi 9T Questions & Answers

Hi guys,
I am using a Redmi K20 (India).
Installed recovery TWRP and flashed a couple of Custom ROMs.
Tried Evolution and Paranoid. Now, I want to revert to MIUI. Guess I am used to it.
My question is whether I should flash the MIUI Recovery ROM or the MIUI Fastboot ROM? What is the difference?
And which is the latest stable version?
Thanks

For flashing fastboot ROM you need xaomi flash tool. I recommend you to use the tool to flash the official ROM, not the twrp.

U can try xiaomi.eu

Already have TWRP. I want to flash MIUI. Can I do it over TWRP? If yes, which one? Official ROM or Fastboot ROM?

Depends on what ROM your on if you have the chinese ROM you could just use the choose update package on the updater app
But if your on a global ROM (which means you have a fake distributor ROM ) u need a custom recovery like TWRP, but by using TWRP that means you need to use a custom ROM unless you'll get a bootloop you can research the ROMs by yourself i recomend using the miui.eu weekly ROM or the mi globe rom
hi,
what are the roms for twrp? MIUI roms for recovery are not for twrp?
xiaomi.eu roms are twrp friendly?
i flashed by twrp a 8.1.2.0 global rom recovery version but no rom boot, stuck at mi logo
so i flashed the emocion rom present here, she boots
so i try to understand there are so many roms the type of those who are twrp OK

Official MIUI9 via Recovery?

Hey guys ! Maybe Us, the (proudly) Redmi 3S owners get soon the MIUI9 updated, but I have a question... Could us that we have Unlocked bootloader / Custom Recovery /Root just to flash .Zip packet like any official Rom? Or We must to flash it via Mi Flasher or OTA update? Because I prefer stay on MM MIUI8 With Unlocked Bootloader, Root and Custom Recovery...

We can flash MIUI 9 update from both the TWRP and the stock recovery (if you're on it), so there's nothing to worry about. Even I have an unlocked bootloader and have flashed custom ROMs as well as MIUI using TWRP without any problems.

not able to flash twrp

Hi guys I have rooted my YU yureka cm 11. Its been 2 days I am trying to flash twrp on my device using both twrp official app and twrp manager. I have tried 3.1,3.0,3.02 versions while flashing. After flashing it says successfull but when I tried to reboot into recovery the mobile stucks on YU logo I think gets bricked this is what happening every time
CM11?
Any reason to sticking with CM11?
It is a 32 bit ROM and TWRP you're trying to flash is 64 bit. It won't get flashed ever.
Better install COS12.1 or any other custom ROMs.
There is no any specific reason for sticking with cm11 I thought it is most stable.
So is there any way I can flash twrp?
Or do I have to upgrade to cm 12.1 and then try to flash?
Can you recommend me any rom with better stability for yureka?
First try to upgrade to COS12.1 and than flash TWRP.
There are lots of N custom ROMs available and is stable. You can find more about them here or at YU Forum.

Flash Cos12.1 via fastboot, as it will change ur architecture from 32bit to 64bit...
Then check bootloader status, and if locked, unlock it as well, flash TWRP and enjoy custom ROMs,
Nougat ROMs are much stable now
For any problem, feel free to ask,
Thank YOU
thanks
Thank you very much guys , your help is very very appreciated.

Redmi K20 can't install any ROM except Global ROM.

My device has unlocked bootloader and install the newest TWRP. When I check ARB it was 0 so I can't even flash ROM using Mi Flash. So I install ROM by TWRP but expect Global ROM and EU Dev, I can't install any kind of ROM. There are one time I unpatched fastboot ROM Global 11.0.1.0 and install system.img and boot.img because I got error when install flash firmware to flash ROM. And now, I can't even flash EU Dev, just Global now. Maybe you guy know that Global ROM is the worst and got a lot of small errors but very annoying. Can anyone here tell me why ? Thank you so much and sorry for my bad English.

Flash OOS and custom Kernel after flashing other roms via custom recovery?

Hi,
I'm testing roms and kernels for my Oneplus 8 Pro and since I'm still not happy with battery life, I was thinking of going back to stock Oxygen OS (Android 11) but install custom kernel (bluspark?) or xXx mod.
Can I just flash it via adb sideload via custom recovery or I have to relock bootloader and do something else?
If just flashing stock OOS image is enough, which one should I use?
Thanks!

Use msmtool, then unlock bootloader, then flash a tooted boot.img for you OOS version, then use a kernel manager like Ex Kenrnel manager to flash a custom kernel

alright. I thought there is a way to flash it directly via recovery instead of going through all the process again.
Where can I find a rooted boot.img for my version? I have the europe/global(?) device and was on latest OOS Android 11.
Or should I rather flash Android 10?

[ROOT] Patched boot.img for Android 11 (Both OP8 and OP8P)
I've made a patched boot.img for both OP8 and OP8 Pro. Note that both files are based on the stable release of Oxygen OS 11 and also GLOBAL VERSION. Magisk Version: 21.0 (21000) - Beta Release Download from here...
