There doesn't seem to be any information about what the release date for the White version is? There is only the review video on Slashgear, and the announcement from Samsung that the white version will launch alongside the black version. To my knowledge, no white Note's have shipped yet.
I just pre-ordered the White version from handtec.co.uk for 449GBP+15GBP Shipping, but they have no expected date.
If there is any updates on the White version, please post them here.
got the white one on clove.co.uk ( not sure if its in stock but the site already let ppl purchase )
www.clove.co.uk/samsung-galaxy-note-white
ps its more expensive than other sites tho
According to the below link (first paragraph), the white version should be launching in the UK the same day as the black one. I want the white one, so going to just wait. Handtec has it, but it says pre-order with no date listed.

I just heard back from Clove and Handtec on the white galaxy note, seems that Samsung hasn't given them any release date, so, looks like it might be awhile
why don't buy a dark blue one with some white paint? The white one is mostly for girls.
The info I got from Clove was early December for the white version. Take that with a grain of salt...
i got the black one as i cannot wait for the white one
i have asked samsung UK about the white one " no date for releasing the white one yet , it might take a while "
I also contacted handtec about the white one and they have no date.
I just contacted Handtec to change my preorder of the White version to the black one...cant wait for the white one
White one available now....... Ebay.. Ermmmmm $3,000/£1,880.88 anybody?
Oh come on. It's a snip..... Free delivery and they're not charging Sales Tax/VAT

Just bought a White Galaxy Note off Ebay. Shows in stock so I should have it next week.
Yesterday I saw several shops in Sincere Podium in Mong Kok - Hong Kong selling the white Samsung Galaxy Note, the price is the same as the blue one (~750USD)

And why is White only for the girls? White is as much of a eliteist color as black, more some in most cases.
I want the white because I work in the medical field, so I think that's pretty self explanatory. A big Black Tablet would look stupid in my lab jacket.

White Galaxy Note looks far better than the boring dark blue that most people have IMO. Same goes for the Galaxy SII, the white one just looks so much better. Black is ho hum, every generic piece of electronics is black.

Totally a matter of taste and preference. As a girl, I didn't even give the white a second look mainly because I gag seeing all the white iPhones and GSII's on Hong Kong's street already. I've also seen a lot of white gadgets turning yellow over a period of use.
The black is good and business-like. I think people would just take me less seriously in business meetings when I pull out a white gadget.
For those interested in a white, CityLink in North Point, HK has them available and I've reserved one already for anybody interested!

Lately I like items in white or red. Got a white mazda 3 I just purchased, this galaxy note and a red alienware notebook. I agree its personal taste and subjective but I like having different colors. Over here most electronics are all black and you rarely see a different color.
Just came from Kwun Tong Shopping Plaza, there's a Citylink branch over there and showing the white Galaxy Note

Like the title, did anyone have the white version?
there's one sold in negri, https://negrielectronics.com/samsung-p6800-galaxy-tab-7-7-16gb-wifi-3g-unlocked-white.html
just curious since the picture there is not clear, is there really a white version?
what kind of material is the white one? plastic or metal?
any real taken picture would be great
thanks before
I think they have use some wrong pictures.
The tablet on the pictures is a 'Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus'.
Also some Danish netshop has created this confusion, eg:

now THAT's what I'm afraid of. It looks exactly like tab 7 plus
the location of the camera is also different with the silver ones
and I'm still curious too as why is the white one is cheaper than the silver metal ones
I'm imagining that it would be cool if it's all white like the new tab 10.1 released in vietnam or sumwhere, I forgot, but until I got the proof, I guess I'll hold off 1st
Hello,
I am trying to find out what is the difference between GT-P7510-UW32ARB and GT-P7510-MA32ARB.
So far what I found is that MA might be Metallic Gray and UW - Pure White.
Tablets GT-P7510-UW32ARB GT-P7510 Galaxy Tab;32GB; Pure White
Tablets GT-P7510-MA32ARB GT-P7510 Galaxy Tab;32GB; Metallic Gray
Any other toughts ?
Thanks!
No - I think that is the only difference. If you search for new ones on Samsung US - you can see that all white ones have a first two letters after the model of UW - and gray ones have MA.
Note that the ARB in the model appears to indicate Refurbished - just in case it is not being advertised to you as such.
My brother just got his new s2 a day after mine. i noticed that when i put his s2 at the lowest brightness and mine too, if we put them side to side, his has a blue like tint while mine has a whiter brownesh tint. Same kernel and firmware. is that nornal? Is his screen in better health than mine?
Please post a picture

No need i just confirmed uts an issue with the screen. Landscape mode i can see that were the status bar is the colors are exactly like my brothers phone. its weird because both of our phones are brandnew.
I guess i have to ship mine back..
My status bar has also a blue tint. I can only see it in landscape mode because the status bar is black. And when I post a screenshot of my screen you dont see it.

Same screen adjustment settings (movie, standard, dynamic, natural) ?
sometimes I get this on other phones if they have different screen protectors or the other one has one but the other doesn't, so ugh you guys surely didn't buy any right?
This is AMOLED 'feature'.
It is normal for two AMOLED screens to look very different on same phones and same settings however status bar having a blue tint is a typical sign of AMOLED degradation. This is why the stock grey notification bar is better than black that people usually use. If you bought your S2 as brand new, I'd ship it back. It has obviously been used if screen degradation is already present.
Funny thing is that the seller is claiming that the phone has never been used. I bought of on eBay and won the auction for $220 on the phone. They claim that all phones they sell are brand new and unsused. I noticed though that they don't ship it in an original galaxy s2 box but rather a box that just says Samsung on the front. They are going to be sending me a replacement soon.

I would not trust this seller!
Demand a sealed box with hologram from Samsung.
Happens with AMOLEDs. Due to the different rates of degradation of the organic material on different phones due to different usage.
P.S. Thread name "wow i just noticed this" is not helpful man. Not helpful. Please change.
I can't now since I returned the phone only. But would it be normal if it just had normal yellow tint anywhere on the screen?
Many S2s have a slightly warmer left side of the screen. And most look yellow overall but that's about it I think. Enter *#0*# in the dialer and choose blue background. If you can see the screen is more vivid in the notification bar area and/or you can see outlines of on screen objects and such then the phone is definitely not new and has been used.
I had a white note 1 and after some time you could see the blue from my jeans pockets turning the back blue.
Do you think with this new "leather" finish it will change colors?
I'm still undecided which color to get.

I was wondering this before I bought it, although I decided to go through with the white one, i've had real leather on the back of a phone before and it turned kinda yellow from my hands being dirty etc..
Hopefully samsung thought of this before they made the fake leather touch and it will somehow prevent it.
Don't let it deter you from getting the color you want mate.

I know I can always call Samsung and have another back sent to me if it happens but that's a headache. I don't think it would really be noticeable if it did happen because it's really just plastic, not actually leather. I think black looks more professional but the white phone stands out.
I had the black note 2 but the carbon look on the white Note 3 got my mind set instantly haha.

It is a nice look. I loved the way the black s4 looked, but the white one stand out more from the usual black phones.
The back of the phone is entirely plastic. No leather or leather-like material to be found. It just has a unique texture and faux-stitching etched onto it.
Mine will be protected by a Spigen Bounce case, so I do not expect it to wear. Also, I love the feel of the back. Go feel one up at the store.
I have the white note 3 and i can confirm it is hard plastic .. only has the texture of leather.. so it will not change color or get dirty like leather or fake leather ..
i think some us remember the back of the white blackberry bold white where it looked bad.. but this is not the case with the note 3

The reason I said this was because I had a white note 1 and it changed colors where my fingers were constantly on it from holding it in a usable position.
Absolutely YES
I saw the white one in the Samsung Store in London, it had obviously been handled a lot and the back was covered in black and grey scuffs. It looked really bad. Even if you don't get colour staining from your clothing, you will certainly see grime.
I had a white S-View case for my Galaxy S4 and the blue dye from my jeans stained the case and nothing would restore it.
You can of course always change the cover for a totally different colour, I went for black for all round aesthetics and convenience.
It's always safe to assume that anything you buy that is white will most likely turn yellow over time unless properly protected.
I wonder .. and maybe a poll will resolver this... how many people have there phones without a case.
I have the white N3 and i will use a case and a screen protector as i do in all my phones but ... IF i didnt had and in 1 year goes completely blue-red-green or whatever i will grab a new backplate.
Its a expensive device and needs prety good care..
