The speaker quality has been satisfactory so far. It isn't amazing but the volume gets loud enough for most environment and even though the sound quality isn't something to wow at, it doesn't really disappoint either. Overall I'd give it a 3.8/5

About its Speaker Volume, honestly i would vote 3.5/5 . Its speaker volume is not loud enough for outdoors usages.
However i believe the clarity out of what you can hear is good after all.
Its Earphone/Headphone Sound is good, along side Huawei Histen Sound Effects makes it even better. i would rate around 4.5/5 here for headphone sound.

While the speaker on the Honor Play is decent, it's not as loud as i'd like it to be. But the quality is really nice and there's no distortion.

Speaker-phone Quality
The speaker for calls is clear and allows for higher -db output then most phones ive owned. The speaker-phone itself is not loud enough in some cases of everyday use for me. I use speaker phone when washing dishes most often and it was loud enough for that, but barely. The sound quality depends alot on your service connection. I thought it was tinny in 3g and average quality in 4g. Not anything to get excited about and easily the worst aspect of this phones performance so far. .In regard to the speaker-phone being quite i consider it a etiquette feature. I thought i saw an option to make it louder but i cant find it now. I did just do an update so perhaps its been moved.

Can we expect Stereo speakers this time from Oneplus atleast in 7 pro version?
Should we expect the echo problem that seems to have plagued OP devices since the dawn of tine to finally be fixed?

Coming from Samsung S7 I can say that speakers for OP 7 Pro is clear and loud. Mids definitely have a priority here, so the sound is neutral and there is no "over-the-top" bass. At maximum volume the sound doesn't have any kind of cracking, I'm really happy with it.
Although my review is short I hope this was somehow helpful, because there isn't any review for the sound quality.

I would really like to see here some user experiences regarding this topic, as I have only heard bad things about sound from two friends
Well, sound is kinda ok, but for a flagship and that money it def. should be louder. It's still 20-30% louder than Xiaomi Mi8, though.
Speaker sound
Mines sounds loud lol my co worker said my phone was really loud.?
I have nothing to complain about it.
I can shower and watch youtube videos

Pretty good
I've been using this phone for a few days now as my daily driver. I'm impressed by the bottom firing loudspeaker's volume. It's pretty darn loud in comparison with my Pocophone F1.
Clarity is good also even tho it's playing at a loud volume. At maxed out volume you'll get the slight distortion but, you dont wanna use it at full volume as its pretty loud for me.
What I'm quite disappoint with is that it's just a single bottom firing speaker with no stereo speaker. Other than that I'm pretty satisfied
8.5/10
