Pro 7 user here. It is a good performer. Under good lighting conditions it can trade blows with the best. Unanimate objects in low light are also excellent. GCAM can add a bit to that, but it has its issues, especially in selfie mode.
All in all I am disappointed. I expected it to at least all around hold its own against my Pixel 3 with modded GCAM. It can do so in some conditions, but overall it loses. Sadly.

Seems like every Moto phone I've had takes garbage photos on the stock software. Root & install Gcam and instantly 100x better photos. That being said this phones camera quality is like all the other G phones before it.
I think the pictures are decent. One perk is the front camera and it having a flash. That is something found in a little more pricier makes and models.

Hi got it for 4 days now.
The camera performance in good light is very good, with nice details and color.
The auto mode make a good job. But the portrait mode just not working. You can see the portrait mode active but there's not bokeh, same happening with front camera.
Some one with the same behaviour? Im in the 1.11.15

Is midrange phone so don't be very surprised because of quality of pictures and videos you'll get from.
I find it incredibly difficult to take photos of moving objects, almost as if the camera is too slow

Very few tries recently. With good light conditions, pics are great. Autofocus is fast, images look more natural than the ROG 1 version.
On night captures, you need to get used to the night mode, since it takes the picture and then asks for 4 seconds to stay still and process the picture. The results are not very good though, lots of noise.
Need to play more with the pro mode and see if pictures can be tweaked or enhanced.

photyo quality on relame 7 is the worst tghing i ever saw, on gcam and stock camera when u zoom th foto u have many spots of blurr, hundrets on entire photo, i jutr take photo of my monitor LCD for my computer and when i zoomed i discovered one the worst photo experience in my life, pure ****ing tragedy for me
