camera storage location after unlocking the ext rom

hi all,
recently i unlocked the ext rom for my kjam and it's running fine, but after doing that, the storage location for the camera app is set to ext rom instead of the storage card which i set, and when i wanted to change it back to the storage card, it doesn't show on the list.
what would be the cause for this? anyone can help out with this to get it back to store my pictures on the storage card?
thanks in advance guys.
I ran into this today and ended up having to hard reset to clear it - there may be a way to shut off the External Rom access again, but I couldn't find it before I got frustrated....
By unlocking the EXT ROM, the SD card is re-labeled to Storage Card 2. The camera app does not recognize this and only sees main mem and ext rom after this. There is no solution afaik other then relocking the ext rom. I did that, since I never edit the ext rom anyway. I also don't use the camera, but ok. In the ext rom unlock thread there is also a possibility to lock the ext rom again without a hard reset. I don't have the exact link at the moment (poor internet connection at the moment), but use the search and ye shall find.

[Q] Need help

Dear all,
kindly note, that I have updated the MIUI version of my Xiaomi redmi note 4g to 6.4.2.0 (KHIMICB)
But, i did so without enough space in the internal storage as a result, after the update a few of the applications are not performing correctly.
Eg: Google chrome and Browser.
Please help me to reinstall/ update the phone so that all functions are restored. ( I have just installed a 16 gb sd card instead of my old 2 gb card)
Please also note , I am not aware of the technical terms like root, reboot, ROM, etc.
Please bear with me and help me find a solution.
Also, I have searched online for the best method for transfering app from internal storage to sd card, but without success.
Awaiting a reply,
Praj13

Low memory Lg Gpad 7 solution

Hello everyone,
I have been a long member of this forum and use all the roms and utilities made by the developers with much joy.
This is why i decided to do my part and post a little something of my own.
Just to be clear, i am not a developer but i am just a user who shares something interesting for the Lg Gpad i found on another forum.
This "trick" or modification iff you will is tested by me on the Gpad 7 (v400) and i can confirm it works.
It might be working for other devices to.
For the record, i take no responsibility for any bricked devices, problems or issue's you might encounter.
Because i use my Gpad pretty much i found out soon that the internal memory is not sufficient.
I found a solution for this problem.
Below i post the manual i found online.
A prerequisite is a rooted Tablet with a custom recovery.
If you dont know how to do this, search the forum.
There are a lot of threads that can help you.

IF INSTALLING FRESH ROM BOOT INTO ROM BEFORE DOING THIS HACK SO THAT DATA CAN SETUP ON YOUR INTERNAL MEMORY. THIS HAS TO BE DONE. DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS WITHOUT BOOTING INTO ROM FIRST.
For the best results this should be done with a class 10 SD Card.
1. Partition your sd using TWRP.
Your first partition should be FAT 32 Primary which would be used as your " SD Card" , Your second partition will be your EXT 4 primary partition which will become your new " Internal memory ".
In TWRP this is done by entering Advanced >partition SD . The size you choose is the new internal so make sure its what you want and make it EXT 4. The Remainder will be your SD Card.
2. Back to the main menu and mount your sd ext partition.
3.Back to main menu go into settings and check the option that says format using rm/rf
4. Back to main then Wipe> Advanced> Wipe SD Ext
5. Back to main go back into Settings and uncheck the format using rf/rm .
6. Now flash the datacopy.zip attached to this post
7. Now flash the datainstall.zip
8. REBOOT TO SYSTEM. GIVE IT TIME TO BOOT AND YOU SHOULD BE SET CHECK YOUR NEW STORAGE SIZE IN SETTINGS !!!
If you want to UNINSTALL flash DataOnSD-uninstall.zip.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well i hope you all enjoy the new storage space , and remember the faster your sd card the better.
Regards,
Alex
