I read somewhere that sometimes overnight idle drain would be as high as 20-30% in LOS 17.1 by Sairam which was based on 4.9 kernel. Is it same in this build?

Well I didn't find any issue in this build that's why I didn't switched or tried to switch to sairam build (and nicheream sir's build was also based on 4.9 kernel it didn't had any problem same for the build I suggested to you. In simple words this is the best alternative to nicheream sir's build)

I had flashed Fork LOS 17.1 by Sairam last week and I am happy to report that idle drain is nowhere as bad as some had reported in earlier builds. Occasionally overnight drain is as low as 0.25%/h but mostly in the 0.6-0.7%/h. Keeping Battery Saver on seems to help quite a bit in this regard. I haven't flashed any GApps/microG yet though which could possibly worsen idle drain.
System responsiveness is much improved. I hadn't used Nich's LOS build so I can't compare to that but its really fluid. Active drain while browsing is a bit inconsistent but on average ~10%/h.
I still have to check Gabrielse's 4.9 build and LOS 16 Official.

Well if u say my suggestion then try rr nougat or give a shot to cm 14.1
I use aicp because cm14.1 has stopped the development and maintainer of that thread is currently merging through Lineageos which usually takes time (even lineageos is not out till now officially)
Cm 14.1 has multi window which aicp doesn't have but aicp is ahead of cm14.1 for weeklies
U try by ur own...

AICP is very fast and very stable with most everything working well. My only issue is camera performance but I may be in the minority with that issue.

How bug free is it? How about the battery life? Do you get around 3-4 SOT with normal usage? This got me curious as i am also finding a great ROM to suit my needs.

I never had any problems at all, battery life is better than most 3rd part roms but not quite stock (Moto knows how to optimize a rom), about 3 hours or so over a full day.
Again, I'll say the same thing as others, try them out, it's easy to do.

BrokenOS devs don't allow links to be shared here...
How could you not find it with Google, just type BrokenOS and that's it and the first two results are the official Google+ group and their website called Dysfunctional ROMs... Easy from there.

yeah, I'm using the latest app and zip file, no problems so far.
On a side note, with mokee's default kernel, antutu scored 26600, and with the latest HexaTurbo it scored 29500 Hexa was very stable on cm13 I bet it will be great on mokee
For daily use stable is better. Mokee 6 is awesome.
I Installed it and love it It can even ring alarm while phone is off
Mine using RR 5.7.4
Very battery-friendly, a lot of tweaks, very stable.

No, I'm not use it anymore, I used it about 6 months before change my ROM to PureNexus 7.1
Battery life about 5 hours normal, 1 day with Airplane Mode. No FC or something like that. No overheat. Though I recommended you to use custom kernel and audio mod (since audio will get better)
The RR 5.7.4 are better than Mokee 6 history version (battery backup, performance, etc..)? Another custom rom MM is good and daily usable?
Does mokee support VoLte?
I'd like to know that if mokke ROM supports Volte and also I had faced the mobile data bug in some ROMs also like to know about that.

we are fortunate enough so, bootoader is not locked
to flash recovery boot into fastboot mode and have usb drivers and ADB installed readily place your phone in fastboot mode and make sure your recover is in the same folder where you have ADB, now press shift and right click select open command window here and type fastboot flash recover name_of_your recovery.img and do make sure your directory or folder name should not have spaces. eg c:\folder name/adb.... is not acceptable it should be c:\folder_name/adb....
if you face any problem feel free to ask or pm

Yes! Its safe Zetsubou will give you enhanced performance and your battery life i.e S.o.t will decrease. With zetsubou you might get a bit heating issue as its over clocked for performance. I'm using stock for now.

Hai, I have an issue with the video call on volte.Anybody know how to fix,
by the way, It is the best rom for z2 from battery optimization to performance also otg working, volte working just work perfectly for the daily driver.
Is this the correct heliox version ?
Because this version is too having lineage os system battery drain problem
I have read this is the best ROM from various threads and members. I want to flash this ROM as I am rocking my Z2 fully stock. I want to know in detail how does this ROM perform?
What all things to be done or configured to get the best result before hand because setting up the device again takes a lot of time.
What kernel should be used if recommended?
What baseband should be used?
What should be done for getting best camera experience?
Any mods to be applied?
I have used AEX 5.1 and pixel experience they are in beta and needs to be constantly updated as this ROM is discontinued so there will be no updates to worry about.
before android 8.1 based aex and pixel_experience i used android 7.1.2 based AEX 4.6, it was stuttery like when swiping the notification, etc.
I want to flash a stable ROM even though it won't be updated, i want a reliable OS.

I thought this is a forum to ask questions like this and the purpose of this forum - especially a q&a thread - is to get answers, not more browsing, because everyone is searching here first for whatever mods, roms, kernels to find the best, the working one, or any new one...? And all of this is based on people who have one minute to post a useful answer here. Maybe I think the wrong way...
I link all I have here.
I currently used Agni on Kate, this seem to have the best charging speed and the battery backup is not much worse than any stock kernel. I tried shadow, this is just not for me and the third one might be useful, I have no reference from that but worth to give it a try if others don't work for you.
I found this radon version, no idea if it is working on pie or not, didn't try yet either.

Is this kernel has wake gesture like DT2W?
Shutdown at 29% battery

I link all I have here.
I currently used Agni on Kate, this seem to have the best charging speed and the battery backup is not much worse than any stock kernel. I tried shadow, this is just not for me and the third one might be useful, I have no reference from that but worth to give it a try if others don't work for you.
I found this radon version, no idea if it is working on pie or not, didn't try yet either.

Does the same with other kernels? Did you try to calibrate your battery? Might be a battery problem anyway as the device is getting older, it is 4 years since released...

Yeah that's what I thought, I reverted back to nougat and I don't have that problem anymore. Anyway nougat gives me better battery life. I was thinking of getting the battery replaced.

I'm on AOSP Extended v4.6 Unofficial build Dec 20 2018, this is a very stable ROM. I couldn't find any bugs so far.
Previously I was using Lineage OS v14.1 with Radon kernel that was also very stable. With stock kernel I was having a battery problem.
