I have this Samsung Galaxy A 7" 2016 SM-T285 for about 3 years now but suddenly the battery charges slowly and now, the battery percentage was 57% but when I plugged it in to the official charger it went to 99% in less than a minute. Could this be a battery problem? or a sensor of the battery problem? I don't game on this thing, I used it lightly. Does anyone have any experience on their tab or just other samsung phones about their batteries?

How do you know the battery is not fully charged?
Indeed, the battery is likely fully charged, as new batteries do come from the manufacturer partially charged to prevent the battery failing from not having any energy in it during transit.
[Help] my Galaxy s5 has a huge battery drain problem... it lasts 4-5 hours on full charge and it overheats after a while
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8inch SM-T350 NZAAXAC
As the title said, the battery does not seem to be charging.
It was at 63% about an hour ago, and now it is 61%.
Any suggestion ?
It was just a faulty adaptor.
The tablet is charging fine.
As the title says, I managed to fix an old S7 I found by replacing it's broken battery with an older S6 battery. The problem is that the battery level remains at 100% when I fully charge it and then it suddenly it drops to 0%. I'm aware that the S7 is built to handle a 3600 mAh battery, but is there a way to maybe calibrate the smaller battery to actually work?
Hi.
I've had a Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 (SM-T580) for 2 years now.
About half a year ago, it started to behave differently. Batterylife suddenly shortened by a lot, the back of the machine (to the right of the flashlight) is constantly warm (or hot when charging or in use), even when turned off it's still warm and drains battery. Overnight it drained 30 percent in 7 hours while turned off.
And it charges very slowly. It takes about 30 hours or so to get a full charge.
It has LineageOS and Android 11. I even tried replacing the battery with a new one, but nothing changed.
I know it's little to go on, but any idea what to do?
Thank you.
