You have a FYT unit which is a Joying Sofia 3GR compatible.
It is running Android 5.1.1
For android 6.0.1 there is a custom ROM, rooting, etcetera, but not for the "old" 5.1.1 version.

This is for MTC units. The OP has a FYT unit. The info on the linked page is not useful for him. On the contrary.
I thought that FYT is compatible to the Joying firmware, which is also linked there. But good to know!

Yes, FYT is compatible to the Joying unit. The link leads to MTC units. MTC units are NOT FYT units FYT units are made by FYT. MTC units are made by Microntek: a total different company using other firmware and MCUs.

I wrote an apk to identify FYT units as I have 3 Joyings, which are FYT units.
Use the HWGetinfo apk from my signature. At least it will telly you whether you have a FYT compatible unit or not.

It's a FYT 6021. That's a Sofia motherboard. The GTXaspec ROM should work and the Sofia Roms from Joying, although you might get an MCU error.
It's so old that I have forgotten the specifics.

Hi folks,
I bought a PX30 HU and all is running well first. After flashing an MCU update (without saving the config and not checking the supplier code), the bluetooth functions gone, unfortunately. I contacted the chinese reseller, but it is a nightmare.... So my question; is there any structured way to identify the right MCU (cfg) by my own?

thanks for this hint...nevertheless, due I have no glue, which MCU version is the right one for my HU, I don't know, which I have to choose... Therefore my question, how can I identify the right one without try and error.. (e.g. serial#, kernel, etc.)?

Good evening, I bought this stereo last year and it was working fine, stupidly I installed gmail to the stereo to check on work emails and it added a permenant lock to the stereo when powered on requiring a password. Is there a way to wipe the device and reinstall 8.1? There isn’t any options to erase data to factory that I can see from the infotainment menu and reset doesn’t do anything apart from reboot.

Hello, I noticed my Headunit was on Tlink version 1.x.x, So I installed Tlink 3.6 onto a USB and attempted to install last night onto the headunit. I had to unistall my original one so now I have no carplay. When trying to install the new version I get the
“Channel mismatch” error. Someone please assist
