Old Samsung Core Prime - Forgot PIN - Samsung Galaxy Core Prime Questions & Answers

First things first. This phone was never rooted, and USB Debug is not enabled. However, when I went into the phone's Recovery mode I noticed that both the Apply Update From ADB and Apply Update From External Storage are available. I'm wondering if, with either of these, I would be able to install something that will help me get my old phone back without having to do a full reset.

The only way you can remove the PIN is by erasing the entire device.
If the device has FRP enabled, i cannot help you with that. Search google for bypass methods.
First, power off the device.
After it has powered off, hold the home, volume up, anyd power button. You should boot to recovery.
Once you are in recovery, press the volume down button until you hover to "wipe data/factory reset" then select it using the power button.
Then hover to "yes" using the volume buttons and press the power button to select.
Once its erased, reboot your device, then set it up as usual.

[Q] Motoblur reset

My mom bought a used Moto Bravo and inserted her sim in it for it to say "SIM card is removed or changed. Log in to your MOTOBLUR account to unlock". She doesn't have one and does anyone know how to bypass or erase the current one?
What you should do is a factory reset which will delete all accounts and reset settings to stock as if the phone were new (also will delete any apps you've downloaded)
1. Power the phone off
2. Once off, Press the power button and volume down keys at the same time until you see the M logo and continue holding the volume down button.
2. You should now see a little android and exclamation point, release the button... now press both volume buttons at the same
time.
3. Now you should be in a small menu, scroll down using the volume keys and select the factory reset option using the power button, confirm and let it do its thing without interrupting it.
4. Once it says its complete you should now do the same thing only wipe the cache, it might say cache partition I can't remember
5. Once that's done you can now select the option to reboot your phone. (It may take a while on this first boot up)
You should be fine after that... post if you have results or issues.
*Im not responsible if you mess your phone up.

My Nexus 6P is stuck in a bootloop. It's already on the May build.

I don't know how to use the Android Debug Bridge but want to try to fix it without having to get Google involved
The first and foremost way, is by clearing the cache partition through stock recovery.
Boot into stock Android recovery:
Power down your 6P completely.
Press and hold volume down and power keys until you see the bootloader mode.
Keep tapping either the volume up/down key, until you see 'Recovery mode' as the selection. Select it by pressing the power button.
A black screen should appear, with an Android bot and exclamation mark. While on this stage, press and hold the power button, and tap the volume up key once.
You should now be in stock recovery mode.
Now, you will need to use volume keys to navigate, and power key to select 'Wipe cache partition'. Finally select 'Reboot system now'.
This may just fix your issue. If it doesn't, let me know.
Didn't fix it. What do you recommend I do now?
I'm perfectly fine with factory resetting my phone.(is that the only other option you'd recommend me do?)

Yes, the second option would be to factory reset.
That fixed it
Thanks!

S7 Edge Exynos stuck on 'SAMSUNG' boot screen

I accidentally enabled Emergency Mode, and now my phone is stuck on the boot screen. It is a G935f, and I have used Package Disabler Pro. Is there any way to restore my phone?
Hard reset your phone or flash the stock rom
Power off your device.
Wait for a few seconds while your phone is shutting down.
Press and hold the Power, Volume Up and Home buttons simultaneously to get into Recovery mode, Mine takes about 20 seconds or so before anything happens.
Use Volume keys to navigate and Power button to select an option in Recovery mode.
Once in, from the main menu, using Power key, select wipe data factory reset.
If you want to clear app data cache too, choose wipe cache partition. Clearing cache often fixes various software related issues.
When done, go back to main recovery menu.
Select reboot system now and that’s about it.

SM-930F Won't reboot, can't be flashed and won't start up due FGP Lock.

Hi!
I've got an Samsung Galaxy S7 since 2017.
Due to an app i wanted to use i tried to Root my phone. It did work but not all apps worked properly so i tried to unroot it.
As it did seem to work but i was still a bit sceptic i decided to do a factory reset to completely empty it.
While doing the factory reset my phone crashed... also found out that i didn't have my OEM allowance on so i can't even enter my phone anymore as it says Custom binary locked by FRP Lock.
I emptied the data / cache and tried to factory reset but it wouldn't do anything.
I tried flashing my phone with the samsung firmware for the S7 with odin, BUT my phone doesn't respond at all.
it just keeps standing on Downloading... do not turn off target. Even if Odin tries to write onto the phone nothing happens, even tho the downloader should respond. Tried different Cables as well. As of now i have no idea what to do left to get in there. i tried for hours, tried different firmwares, but nothing responds... Anyone having tips for me?
When you tried with oden where you in download mode or still on the boot screen with the lock message?
You can't flash if your not in download mode.
to get in download you shoud normally by pressing the Volume Down, Home and Pose On/Off button together for about 3-4 seconds.
Once the Download screen appears, press Volume Up button to continue.
you could give this a try
Press the Power On/Off button and Volume Down button simultaneously for 5-7 seconds as shown below.
Wait for the phone to reboot and start again normally.
See that the Custom Binary Block error message does not pop-up this time.
if not then you could try .
Another useful way to bypass/remove the FRP Lock error is to perform a factory reset on your phone. This can be implemented by booting into the Recovery Mode. To do so:
Long press the Power On/Off, Home and Volume Up button together and was for a screen with multiple options appear before you.
Now use the Volume Down key to scroll down and select “Wipe Data/Factory Reset” using the Power On/Off button as shown in the screenshot below.
Wait patiently for the process to get over and for your phone to restart normally.
Note: you will lose all your data and setting stored in the phone after performing a factory/ hard reset.
Be prepared to set-up your phone from scratch after the process is over.

How can I boot TWRP from a bootloop?

I made a TWRP nandroid backup then restored it after flashing a ROM. This put my phone into a bootloop.
It seems that the only way to access TWRP on the LG G6 is by booting the phone and choosing factory reset from the settings menu. This is the only phone I've owned where I can't simply boot into TWRP through a key combination.
I cannot use ADB because ADB is inaccessible from a bootloop.
Is my phone useless or is there another way to access TWRP?
I was in a similar situation a while back. I think to get into TWRP I held the power button & volume down simultaneously until it asked to factory reset or wipe. I really don't recall. It may have even be the volume up button. Try both and see if it works. If it asks to reset/wipe...whatever it ends up saying, just select YES. It should then boot you to TWRP. It did for me, if I recall correctly.
Goof luck! Hope it helps..
To get in TWRP with button combination:
1 - Hold both Volumes Down key and Power button until the LG Logo is displayed.
2 - Keep holding Volume Down and release the Power button for 1 sec. Then hold it again until the recovery mode is displayed.
3 - Use the Volumes buttons to navigate and select yes for both questions.
You normally should be now in TWRP.
