[SOLVED] VS995 FRP lock. Any methods still work? - LG V20 Questions & Answers

EDIT: Solved. Flash 14B, hold emergency call and keep tapping next. Skip email setup and you'll get to the home screen with the message "setup proceeded by server policy" or some such. The phone reboots to setup and you can proceed through the setup wizard normally. Don't make up a bull**** email address this time.
tl;dr phone frp locked, don't know the associated email
My wife's old v20 was gathering dust and we both have the same model so I figured I'd try to root it as practice before I do mine. I made a new Gmail account during setup (my password is long and complicated and I was too lazy to look it up) but I ended up having to do another factory reset before rooting. Frp kicked in and I have no idea what the email address was. Is there any way to either find out what the email is or bypass frp altogether? I've tried various methods that involve getting into the settings menu but none work, my settings menu only has wifi settings. Maybe I need to be on a certain android version?

Has it a data-connection?
If not, try to set APNs (if avaible by pressing menu)
Or try this:

I heard someone else had this problem. When you change your password online, it doesn't update to the handset cos it is disconnected for security reasons, and so it is still looking for your old password.
Hard reset it, when you log back in, your contacts and calendar etc will re-sync automatically, and all the apps you installed should be in the my downloads sections of the market.
The moral of the story is:
If someone can break it, they will, so turn all the security features OFF before letting friends play with your phone!!

Connecting to MS Exchange Server initiates password login on phone

So, I decided when I first got the phone, to have a 4-digit PIN to unlock the phone, but only if done after a long time. I think it was like 24 hours. I can't remember exactly, but that is irrelevant. So anyway, my friend has a Touch Diamond, and we scored a Microsoft internship together. So, a whole bunch of emails started arriving via Exchange and we wanted to sync our phones to it as well.
Now, he DIDN'T set a password earlier, so he couldn't login when the phone asked him for it, resulting in a complete reset!! He was devastated, but luckily, Outlook had stored all his contacts/tasks etc for him on the server, so he was still fine.
My problem is, I am able to login using my original PIN, but now I have to do it, every 15 mins, which the maximum I am allowed to go. (In Settings > Personal > Lock, the 'Prompt if device unused for...' checkbox is disabled.) I realise this is probably some security feature, but is there a way around this? Or will I have to give up sync priveleges to go back to the old days?
Help!
this is a security feature of exchange, not your phone.
if you don't enter the password you'll find that your phone still receives calls etc. I had this and it was very annoying, until I told our infrastructure manager to relax security permission on our exchange server for my device
check out this website... toward the end of the page is a link to an app that will allow you change the behavior of the "exchange lock" feature. now i use Exchange for push and after i'm setup, i use the app to disable the lock/password feature. my exchange service provider doesn't force me to re-enable this feature; however, your provider may be different. read the info and then decide if this is something you want to try...

Samsung Account Processing failed

Hello I've had my s5 for about 8 months I just recently did a hard reset so like any other new cell it asks for a Google account and a Samsung account if you have one...
Well I put Google account and everything is OK.. By the time I punch in my details for the Samsung account it says processing failed. I know it's not my details because I have 1 other Samsung s5mini and has the same I'd and password.
It's basically a paperweight right now it won't let me get passes the 3rd screen (Samsung account loggin)
Please help
I am having the same problem as well. I bought my phone from someone else over a year ago so I am not sure if it wants their account or what. The crazy thing is that if I use an incorrect password it says invalid password, but when I enter the right one I get processing failed. Not sure what to do, can't Odin older firmware
Check youtube for "Bypass Galaxy S5 reactivation lock"
same thing here. when i use the right password says, processing failed. when i use wrong one, it says, wrong password
pain in the butt this thing.
Samsung account username/password (test - validation) this is easy to be performed by a computer logging at Samsung website.
Customer support of Samsung this is amazing, if you contact them.
In case that you do log-in normally in your Samsung account over the web, and when you do that from your phone this Fail, then something is heavily wrong, and also Samsung customer support them will hold the answers about that too.
Check Samsung Account app permission ... grant everything and try again
I spent the last 6 hours on this, but I'm finally up and running. Forgot that reset your pw and wait 24 hours BS. The problem is the older devices don't recognize the 2-factor authentication, which means you have to sneak in the backdoor and turn it on. No need to call 911 either - leave those lines open for real emergencies! Here's the step by step, (assuming I haven't forgotten anything).
1. On login page, select the microphone button. This will take you to keyboard options. Select "set hot keys" and type any text in the field.
2. Highlight the text and tap to select Google Assist. On the menu that pops up, hit the share icon and then Google Drive.
3. Okay, this is the part I'm blanking on, so good luck! Somehow from here, I was able to access an address bar. I suggest clicking around until something pops up.
4. Once you get to an address bar, type in "Quick Shortcut Maker" and install and open the app. This app creates shortcuts to various applications on your device.
5. In the app, select Applications and scroll to "Settings." Voila! You just snuck in the back door. Interestingly, I was able to access all kinds of applications this way - NOT VERY SECURE SAMSUNG!!
6. The irony of this next step will blow your mind. Head over to the "backup and reset" menu and select factory reset. I know, you're probably thinking, "this is how I got here in the first place." That's what makes this SO funny.
7. Before you can perform a factory reset, Samsung asks you to verify your pw. Go ahead and enter it again. You will magically end up behind the curtain where you are prompted to enable 2-FA on your phone. Yay! And now you are logged in.
8. Before restarting go to the "accounts" menu in settings and view and verify your profile info associated with the Samsung account. I went ahead and entered my phone number here just in case that mattered.
9. I did all of the steps above with the sim card out. It still didn't work at this point, but after reloading the sim card, I am back in business!!

Nexus 6p after factory reset - can't login

Posted at Nexus help forum as well.
I was doing the N preview. I unenrolled my phone. Got the OTA to revert back to M. It reverted back but when it boots to the language prompt. I select US English, then my wifi. Then it says checking connection, software update, and then Verify your account. I enter my gmail address, I enter my password, it says checking info and a popup (fade in at the bottom of screen) appears saying "Please sign in using one of the owners accounts for this device". It then boots me to Verify your account, email address prompt. And around I go.
Now if I look at my google account under Device activity and notification it does show:
Huawei Nexus 6P
So obviously there is some kind of talking going on but it won't let me do anything on the phone. The wifi, simcard and battery icons are there but I cannot pull down the notifications pane, nor can I access the back, home and app buttons at the bottom (simply not there). I'm guessing that a security feature.
Also, I did try a factory reset. I also tried factory reset and wipe partition but it just won't let me do anything but enter my email and password and loop back to the start.
I'm at a loss.
Thanks!
edit: doing some digging, I did change my password before doing the reset, so could I possibly be in the Factory Reset Protection thing and I'm going to have to wait 72 hours? It's not giving me any kind of warning that that's what is going on but I'm thinking maybe that's it?

Problem with google account

Hi guys, so I wanted to sell this tablet and I thought it would be easier to just Hard Reset it and then go by the usual initial configuration. The thing is, my account it's not working.
The tablet has my little girl's account and it was family linked to mine, but none of the two accounts does it.
I've tried some tutorials to bypass this but they just doesn't work, *#0#* doesn't show anything, I can't install APK's even with SmartSwitch, Configurations just random says "Stopped Working" and so on.
Did someone ever encounter something like this? I done the FRP thing once when my mom forgot her account password but it was pretty easy.
Cheers!

Sorry, but FRP is no longer "easy to bypass". If the google account is one of a family account, you might be able to use the password manager in Chrome to find the account login and password.
Yeah, I tried with both of the accounts but none works pretty weird situation
