Blueangel WM6 Contact list problem.

Ok so here's the problem:
Whenever i want to go to my contact list, either by pressing the contact button, or going to my contact list via, Phone or "Contacts" on the start menu, it just flashes "contacts" at the top, doesn't display my contacts, and then just goes back to the today screen.
Is there a fix for this?

No i didn't, is there anyway i can sort that out?

I've pushed power&reset,.. but nothings come up, and it goes through the usual boot up.
As for the mail button, where do i find that?

as soon as you push power&reset, you now press the camera&record buttons simultaneously. three lines will come up, and you use both camera & record buttons to navigate and toggle from no to yes to no... so at the end you'll get no/yes/yes (1st line/2nd line/3rd line)
the mail button is the 2nd button from the left (the one with the envelope icon).
all of these are in the wiki, which you're supposed to read before you attempt to upgrade. it appears you haven't done any reading yet, hehe...

Lool ok , now the mail button is the SECOND BUTTON BELOW THE SCREEN , with the Mailbox icon, next to Start up menu button on the left and the IE button on the right , to be more specific , the one with the set of 4 buttons . U can easily find it by look at the FRONT SIDE of the device . In Any case , you DID NOT find it , ill post you a Screenshot . cheersss

Silly me!
I did read the Wiki (Much help), and from there it was straight forward, it was just this little problem that was bugging me, but thank you very very much.

Bingo,.. it's working.
Everythings running in order, just like it did when i had WM5.
oooh,.. i wonder if i still have Worms World Party on it.

that will be lost... a result of the no/yes/yes action you did.
in any case, i assume you wouldn't have any problem installing the said game.

I got a backup sitting somewhere.
I'm not too fussed though that i've lost it, cause this device serves me alot more than just a games device.
(Jawbreaker is a time waster enough)

Secret menu on X2 seen

Today I was holding my phone when i was at work and i dont know what i preseed and a menu apeared. I couldnt even look at it real good couse my boss was comming towards me. it was like a service menu.
i klicked on accelerometed button (there was more buttons, accelerometer is the 2nd button i think) and then there was choosen 270 degrese option witch means left sided landscape and there was XYZ coordinates wich changed when i was moveing the phone and some other options.
i couldnt looked up the whole menu couse my boss was there and was asking me something just a second afther that. It must be a testing menue or something.
I remember i was pressing the front buttons but cant recall the combination and i think it was the end call and the OK buttons that i was pressing.
But there is a menu and i want to get to it again. does anyone know this combination od buttons. the menue is only in black and white, no icons no colors...

I don't know the combinaison but the soft is ServiceMenu, you can found it on the windows directory

abouth the ><>><>< ofcorse it isnt true that was the combination on the t610 and k 700 k750 phones. on the windows mobiole this isnt the combination.
abouth the service menue yes it is true i just need to figure out the combination.
maybe its supposed to be hidden and with help from some bug it popped up I dont know. But it is there.
I saw some forums when i was searcinh the web to fond this menu that some folks have reporting thair phones have secret menues just for fun (scams, hoaxes) but i have seen it. Im so interested in looking on it and go trough the whole menu.

Hey, guys, has anyone read what wrote toffeur? You don't need the combination, just look into the /Windows directory and find... who would guess that, ServiceMenu.exe.

Nice, it works. And you can disable accelerometer, which I find is useless and drains battery thanks heaaps =)
UPDATE: Can also edit ILLUMINATION Settings!
UPDATE 2: NVM, it doesnt save the settings.. =(

nothing happens, keep in mind we don't even have the exe there

This is handy to check if your screen is actually calibrated properly.

Doesnt work on my X1 either.

Nope, can't be done. In fact, no one has yet to figure out if any hardware button can be used to take a picture. It's possible to program a volume key to open the camera, but NOT actually take the picture. I'm afraid you will have to use the on-screen shutter release. It's not the best solution, but it's the only one for now.

its harder and your more likely to drop the phone..try taking a self portrait...i have down to a science now..it took some getting use to though..same on the tp2 but you could actually program a button to take the acutal picture as well

Just a suggestion, a module that can use a swipe gesture to stimulate the Back key would be really cool. I worry that I might wear the Back key out.

Hahahahh, good one, well, if you wear an back button out, you can use key remaper to make another button behave as back button XD Just like i did with my worn out Power button, remaped it to camera button XD

This sounds like the iphone one your talking about. I would also liked to know if there is an android for it

Mate 9 Service Test Mode.

I was playing with the dialer,i hit this combo *#*#28465#*#* it tooks me to a test mode,plus some calibration menus.
No sure if anyone know about it but just like to share it.

How do you move to the test "touch screen test"? I managed to enter the main screen...but don't know how to move on from there...thus only able to test the infrared...

Volume down.
But this test mode is broken not sure what is useful for.

I extracted smali from Contacts.apk and found code *#2846# (dial in stock dialer)
This Service Test Mode has ~20 different tests.
Volume Down - start tests or go forward
Volume Up - go back to previous test
Power - interrupt test
Home - click twice to exit from Service Test Mode
p.s. Warning: First test in row is LOUD !

They work both when using the camera.
