Honestly, I'm quite impressed. The redmi 9 changes contrast, temperature and saturation based on the environment, making the image always look the same no matter the place you are in. Example: On a sunny day, the blacker elements of the screen are harder to see when the sun shines directly on the screen, so the firmware compensates by lowering the contrast, so the elements that are black are now more grey. Of course, this feature can be turned off in settings.

I'm using Standard mode. It has slight blue tint on white. Other than that, the colour is good. HDR10 Youtube videos look really really great. However, I noticed the display will change to max brightness for HDR10 content. I compared it with OnePlus 5T (1080p Super AMOLED but without HDR10 support) display, the difference is insignificant if I also crank OP5T's display to max brightness. Only the really bright scene has more differences.

this phone's color saturation is bad, quite bad when compared to an older Samsung with an OLED when compared to OLEDs the whites lack warmth and the contrast isn't good. not recommended for video editing and photo editing, it's a basic phone with enough power to do everyday tasks well enough

I bought two phones. Both of them have poor grey uniformity and they looks like refurbished displays. Many poco X2s have yellowish bottom part.

I am using this device(Indian Version called Mi 10i) since last 2 days.
Color accuracy in 'Standard mode' is pretty good for an IPS LCD screen,
The screen has a very slight blue tint(am just nit-picking) when you watch a Full white background picture.
Don't expect pure white and very good colors like on a screen with 100% DCI-P3 color space.

The colours looks well balanced. No tint of any kind is noticeable.
94% sRGB.
The natural mode is pretty good for all uses. Boosted and Saturated mode are also available for a more vivid display.
It's good enough for me, although obviously, I wouldn't trust it for any professional colour accurate work. (Not that any professional would use this for their work, obviously they would rather work on a PC, but still.)
It is more than good enough for content consumption.
