Hey guys,
I used to get 7hrs of SOT earlier but now (Android 10 June SP) I'm getting only 4hrs+ SOT (full day usage) so does that mean it can be due to OS or Battery capacity is getting degraded? I bought the device June last year.

My friend owns a note 4 910c (exynos edition) anf yesterday he saw me his battery stats and told me he has a prob but i couldnt help him so i visiti my beloved xda and its beloved communication. I saw that his android system used about 33% of the battery life and his SOT only 15%. The phone had that perticular moment 24% battery with 1 hour SOT and 11 hours after last charged. I havent seen such poor battery life, ever! I had a note 3 and i had 6 hours SOT with 24 hours usage, my nexus 6 now has about 4 SOT and 24 hours usage. Any help would be super

my note 4 battery has went bad since lollipop,lat night i turned data off and put power saving on with greyscale 6 hours later 40% had disappeared,heard i may have to factory reset
Of i forgot to mention that my friend is using saving mode 24/7. Not the power, the normal. But ye its very bad! I will factory reset his phone the coming days and will report here
note 4 low battery drastically drains
Hi. Ive been noticing some anomaly on my galaxy note 4(sm-n910c/lollipop) battery. When it goes down to about 20%, it starts to drastically drain itself. So rapid like 1% per 10sec. Maybe there's someone out there who encountered the same problem or knows the fix. Advanced thanks

I have the same problems.
I made a factory reset but the issue didnt solve.
Samsung should be shame and we should stop buying Samsung.

Very low lol. Bought my tablet in June 2013, so battery is pretty much dead, can't get more than 2h SoT anymore haha. Anyways, back when it was new (2013-2014) the battery would last 5h SoT to even 7h SoT with my usage, with gaming it'd be 4 to 5h, and could easily last 2 to 3 days, I loved that battery life hehe .

is there anyone who face draining battery after the november update?. even on standby the battery drain quite fast.
Yes, I am also having the issue. Not on just stand by even in regular use. I have reported this.

i have oreo 8 installed with january updates and root. System is optimized with l-speed.
I have great battery life. With SOT about 5 hours i reach 2 days without problems. :good:
My usage: 8 mail addresses, weather service, gps always on, lte mobile data service always on, wifi always on.
Under "heavy usage" i can reach sot of about 10.5 hours with about 24 h of total usage (standby). :fingers-crossed:

Same here. I am barely getting 3hrs SOT. 7000000.ssusb is keeping phone awake and it doesn't go in deep sleep mode.

Have you performed procedures to conserve battery life?
How to ... Disable Check Wizard (wi-fi and bluetooth), Disable sending of analyzes to Mi, restrict data usage of apps in the background and remove vibration from the keyboard.
What version of android?
Try to install BBS (better battery stats) to determine what is the cause of your battery drain.
In my case i had activated erroneously wifi scanning under geolocalization option and it's a big battery hog.
Where is that in menu exactly?
assuming you are on android 8 it can be found under geolocalization --> search, while in android 7 it is under geolocalization-->upper right corner three dots-->search

it went down from 8 hours sot to just barely 5 after oreo downgrade.
I have no issues whatsoever with battery life on this phone. As a matter of fact, I often get over one day's usage out of it.
Run the battery analysis programs instead of whingeing on here.
I have posted screenshot of my problem below. I have flashed ROM multiple times and still the battery drain won't stop. It went away for some days and I was getting 5hrs sot but now again the problem has started. No idea why.

Those pics say you're getting 12 hours of battery since last charge and are at 23%.
Talking about SOT which is way less as i barely used phone. It's basically like battery being drained for no reason at night. Look at system using all the battery.Is that normal?

Install Accu battery from play store then check your notification, normal average consumption between -150 and -400, if more then check the app to see which app drain your battery

I'm using this MiA1 since Sep 2017, and it's flawless with Android 8.1.0 Nov 2018.
You have a BAD OS (Pie), not really suitable for this phone. I'm getting more than 80% of the time (of Screen Off state) as Deep Sleep Mode. Depending on the usage, 80% charged battery is giving me 30-40 hrs with 10% SoT.
Our immature/childish attitude to anything FREE and the LATEST, and greedily grabbing it, makes us miserable.

i got a friend of mine a moto G7 (as i always had good expierience with moto G5/G6) and after some month (5?) he told me battery life was very poor. today he finally brought me the phone to take a look...
the phone was fully charged in the morning, now (after 5 hours) it has 55% left. no data, no bluetooth, no screen time...
battery usage says the phone will run for 5 more hours with 55% left...
battery usage only lists these:
System 11%
mobile network standby 4%
Display 3% (22 mins)
standby (4h 53mins) 1%
what can i do?

Without knowing more than you've written, if this were my device I'd be tempted to backup everything and then do a factory reset.
Otherwise a more detailed battery monitor might help:

Hi, try to disable Digital Well Being completely. I did it and the battery life increases a lot.
