In a suburban area with good signal upstairs typically 1-3% overnight depending on battery level and signal, with typical care, ie. no hogging apps, no push messages.
That's better than Lenovo P2, although general battery life feels worse than P2.
After using the phone for more than a week I can' safely say that there has been no battery drain using the latest security update available (Jan 2021).

It doesn't take much to notice the quick drain on this meager battery capacity phone. Using a couple apps or playing a lightweight game on this phone where screen is on prolonged periods and before you know it you're below 50% and falling. Motorola should at least have given it a 3500 mAh battery

1.6% percent per hour drain when screen is off. This is terrible. Mobile service seems to drain the most energy in this case. I hope some updates or custom roms will fix this.
No battery drain here after a week of use. Occasionally Play Services won't let go, a reboot fixes it. Even with the 'drain', only 2% all day from it.
Mobile Services draining is cellular service strength, I think.

Average.
In 6 hours and 45 minutes of sleep, it drained from 100% to 95% . Really bad for a 5000mah phone with light software like this.
I've bought on Amazon "used as new" but maybe battery had some.hits...i don't know .
I usually drop a couple of percent overnight. I turn the cell radios, Bluetooth, and location off but leave wifi on. I also put on data saver and battery saver. Otherwise my results would be similar to above.

This phone does not seem to me that is loses battery charge very much when the phone is standing by in a pocket.
Minimal stand-by drain.
From a before-bed charge of 100% to an after-work the next day charge of about 87% under varying conditions of 5G, 4G and wireless, I'd say it has excellent standby power management.
My a71 5g does have a much bigger battery as compared to my LG v40 but batt seems to be poorly managed. Overnight I seem to have 7% to 9% battery drain. Nothing running, Facebook Uninstalled and various at&t pre installed apps Uninstalled or disabled

If you disable device health services, you can get over 5 days. This will vary slightly depending on if you are connected to WiFi or cell. Cell power use also depends on signal strength. I had a mix of both, only Bluetooth was turned off. No other battery saving settings were used.
