I have a bricked phone, tried a lot of fixes, and i mean alot, so i found no other way than to write a thread.
The phone doesnt turn on, while connected to a pc, it enters a bootloop,, and can only access fastboot mode.
Tried flashing stock firmware, different ones since i read that the problem may be that the firmware i tried to flash was older, but i even downloaded the latest and still nothing.

I am thinking the bootloader is locked. if it is then try "fastboot flashing unlock_critical" (no qoutes) and then run the batch files to flash the moto software.

Locking the bootloader when it's not booting correctly is just asking for trouble.

Already unlocked it again, i noticed that it says carrier: retus and ive been trying to install retail firmwares, does it make any difference? Im going to try to install a retus firmware and see if that solves the problem.

Already did that and still on bootloop, could it be the battery? i mean i cant get it to do anything if its not plugged, cant even get it to bootloader.

Then it could be possible problem of lose connection of battery from device which cause bootloop and other problems. Does the device get charged or just show charging?. But still it could be problem of hardware. You can try opening the device and connecting the lose cable to get the device fixed.

Anyone came across with the same errors?
Hi iff you have TWRP recovery on the phone try flashing the mx force rom from the development section it is pre rooted stock rom and you can flash it through twrp so their will be no need for manual flash. Hope this helps.
My G5 plus came with NPN25.137-67 Indian version. Flashed TWRP and rooted. Now I want to go back to stock. I understand 67 full stock firmware is not available and I may need to downgrade using this firmware:-

So I am guessing I cannot go back to stock ?

Maybe, you can try to flash the latest twrp flashable build and replace recovery and logo with the stock files (one without the warning sign) and lock the bootloader. Can someone please confirm this?

did you found the solution?
My dads Moto G4 Plus XT1641 suddenly stopped booting into system (softbrick).
Turning the phone on shows Motorola logo, vibration and suts down after a couple of seconds.
Turning the phone on while connected to PC vía USB show Motorola logo, the led light blinks twice, vibration and then bootloops forever.
I can enter fastboot and recovery and that works OK. I tried wiping cache and data from recovery.
I tried flashing "ATHENE_NPJS25.93-14-15_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml" via fastboot.
Nothing changed.
Phone has untouched bootloader, system, everything is stock. This is weird, any ideas?

Hmm, can you upload the log of the stock ROM flash, I'm curious to see if the flash worked, and what commands were used.
However, if your dad's device has a locked bootloader, that bootloop could mean a corrupted partition or the flash memory is failing. As I understand it, a locked bootloader performs integrity checks on boot, and if a key partition fails the checks, then the device may reboot endlessly (more info here about dm-verity https://source.android.com/security/verifiedboot/verified-boot for the verification checks).
Re-flashing the stock ROM is a good thing to try, could be worth trying it again to see if it flashes properly. If the flash doesn't work, we may have to consider a service repair, which depending on the warranty may be a chargeable repair. I leave it up to you/your dad if you wish to commit to the repair or put the money towards a new device.

The bootloader B1:09 is from the Oreo firmware, the last Nougat bootloader was B1:07.
The fact you can boot to fastboot is a good sign; most of the unbricking posts require that fastboot is not functioning.
For some reason, the previous owner has flashed Android 6.0.1 onto the device, which is not a good idea. If your device was able to boot, the moment you used an OTA update you'd have likely hard bricked.

If that doesn't work, it may point to a more serious fault with the hardware (possible flash memory failure) and thus I'd contact the seller for a refund or return.

I would agree, based on your available evidence. It looks like the flash is not being committed to the flash memory, despite fastboot reporting the writing went okay. I would suggest contacting your seller and try to get a return/refund (hopefully you're covered by eBay Buyer Protection, which should apply if the listing mentioned the device working). Typically, the only way to get this issue repaired is to send the device to a service centre - I don't know if the service centre would replace the motherboard for free (if you're covered by EU consumer laws) or if they'd require proof of purchase.

I saw someone made qfil files for Moto E from a working device and used that to Unbrick dead dead devices. Google "create qfil firmware for Motorola" you'll find that video, give it a try if that worked we all be saved.

Why do you want to lock your device bootloader, it could cause many problems in future. Just leave it unlock, you will find it helpful in future. But, if you still want to lock. Did you enable allow OEM unlock and try locking the bootloader!?

In the picture, the allow OEM unlocking option is toggled to off and it is greyed out, I couldn't toggle it on

Did you try format the device or reflashing the Device. Mostly it could fix that bug.

As said above, reflash the actual firmware.
For what reason do you want to relock the BL? It could cause problems and there are no real advantages in doing it.

There are 9 system files on oreo firmware... You're flashing only 6.
