I'm really interested in buying this phone but does it support Mirrorlink?
I'm really not interested in telling you.
Why do you want to know.
I'd like to have it on board as well. Android Auto can not be competitive enough for local navigation programs in many regions. So full mirrorlink could be a solution.
Thanks in advance for any response here
Tested on my VW T-roc,no mirror link.
So no Sygic on my car screen.

Does anybody know if the nexus 4 supports mirrorlink?
I've managed to get an N4 for Christmas and I'm now looking to get a good stereo for the car to pair it with. The only info I can find about the N4 is it has miracast which seems to be different to mirrorlink but I'm not sure how.
I'm not particularly a car stereo buff but it seems like a number of companies (Sony, Alpine, JVC, etc) have released headunits with mirrorlink. It looks like quite a cool technology and would really be useful for Google navigation on the stereo screen. However if it isn't going to work, I'll give up and start looking for a cheaper bluetooth only solution.
Thanks
I went to best buy to test this out on a Sony head unit with mirrorlink and it didn't work. I used Samsung drive link app.
Another option is to get a miracast adapter with a hdmi to rca converter to connect to the head unit. But you will only be able to control apps from your phone. But at least your phone will be mirrored on the head unit.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
Thanks for trying that out, I'll keep my fingers crossed for mirror link in the future.
I really like your 'hdmi to rca adapter' idea. I will give that one some serious consideration, however if it works on this stereo my guess is it will work on others as well (back to looking at other stereos again, I thought I had narrowed it down).
Has anyone tried this? I'm also in the market for a good Headunit and If its not going to work on MirrorLink I wonder if it works using the hdmi/rca adapter.
Hello everyone,
I have a Ford Focus MK1 ( 2001 ), and was wondering about buying a head unit to replace the original one. However, I'm uncertain and to be honest, a little 'scared' that it wont work as expected, and i wanted to ask your opinion about what i should go for.
What I'm interested in is something of 6,2'' size, and to have 2 main features: - good to very good sound output and the option to install 'Waze' ( and use it via wi-fi ).
What i found so far, is a Eonon G2150F (sorry, can't post links), but unfortunately i haven't found any reviews about it regarding the features im interested in.
If anyone can give me a hand here, i would appreciate it.
Thank you!
my Joying is for a Jeep, but it sounds great and Waze works fine, although I prefer Google Maps
Hi all,
First time posting here. I need your expertise and help! I am looking for an Android head unit for my Mini Cooper 2012. I had found the Teyes CC3 but their support said that the Mini product they have (this one: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001666526066.html) is not compatible with a right-hand drive...
I really like the CC3 but if it doesn’t connect to my right-hand-drive car then I can’t order it. Can you guys suggest a solution or a better alternative that will work with my car?
I have attached a photo of my dash, if that helps. Thanks, everyone!

Android head unit (grey market, non certified device) or Genuine Android Auto?
Also, Teyes support may not be accurate.

Thanks for getting back to me! I quite like something like the Teyes one — essentially an Android tablet with all the functionality of a GPS, Radio, etc. What do you suggest?
“Also, Teyes support may not be accurate.” Do you mean to suggest that the CC3 will work with a right-hand-drive?
hello guys.
I've ordered a long time ago this android head unit: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/329..._list.0.0.2bc4586aWLTEcq&gatewayAdapt=glo2isr
I have the 2GB + 32GB.
of course, the fake 8.1, and all that crap.
anyway, I've already installed some other firmwares over time .
for now. I have some firmware i've installed from here, 10 android version without HIFI.
my main question is: can I make this device support apple car play? in any way? that works great (really not fine but great, without any lags ).
after many times that I used apple car play in other cars, I just feel that is a very big gadget that I must have!
I've tried to download some "Car play" apps online, but my iphone don't recognize anything..
if someone have some firmware / update or something that works with it ,with any other cool stuffs like DSP/split screen, that will be amazing!
thank you very much!!

Hi, you have easyconnect app from google store which mirrors screen, for car play app you can install it onto head unit, but in order to work must activate siri on your mobile phone in order to work with head unit or connect via USB cable to head unit.

Hey, thanks for the respond.
I’ve tried the mirror link app but it’s a little bit laggy and not maximize the options for you and not a very good UI.
siri is always work on my iphone but I couldn’t make the car play to work.

Then it's some stupidity making problems, like Google play has its own thrid party apps not installing if you don't allow them to. For iphone I don't know, it is something , something is preventing in Store to deny access or installment.

is there any way to make an external car play with some dongle even if I dont have wired carplay on my head unit?
There are some dongles to buy in Ali Express but I'm not certain about quality of Chinese stuff.

Using old one Ownice 8227L unit with Android 6.0. Put Carlinkit usb adapter like this https://a.aliexpress.com/_vsVSiR from aliexpress and it works as Wireless CarPlay with no hassle. A lot better than wired CarPlay android 10 on my other car.

exactly. makes any android support wireless/wired Carplay -depending on model of Carlinkit. Well al least androids older than 6.0. for older you should ask Carlinkit support. Product is reliable and that's why not too cheap. mine was bit less than 60$ for wireless CarPlay
Hi,
I got a new gps resistive touch navigator for use on my motorcycle doesn't have inbuilt android os rather you can connect your android or apple phone wireless or wired to get android auto or car play. The device doesn't have inbuilt battery rather has to be hardwired to the bikes battery.
The device functions well with apple but for some reason it doesn't work well with android.
Any help or suggestions would be great help.
Thanks
What does this have to do with MTCD. What does the seller or installer suggest

Hi sorry if I have posted in the wrong place I am just looking for some guidance the seller hasn't provided any feedback to me indirectly suggesting I should get a iPhone since the device works better on carplay, the seller has told me that they only tested the device on carplay and didn't do any testing on android auto.
