Wrong post. This is for wp7 not android
We might be able to hack the HTC flashlight app, but it might have HW bindings, though.
Any news about flashlight on Omnia 7?
I bought a Note 3 yesterday which came with Hangouts.... I need Gtalk badly, bcoz i am connected to for 24 hrs and dont like Hangouts as it doesn't have Audio calling feature by default.
I have rooted the device, but the google search didn't help me much.
Anyway to do it please?

Hangouts replaced GTalk, you could search for an older .apk however it'd bug you to update it all the time, and probably isn't supported anymore.
To be honest, hangouts is pretty decent once you get used to it.
Actually i tried it a lot on my ONE, but i the more i tired, more i hate it ...
I got apk files for gtalk... But most of them are not working....

Google probably killed all support for GTalk now, you;ll have to adapt to Hangouts, or alternatively find a new app with Voice support. WhatsApp can support voice, but not for calling :/ - There's always Skype! not sure if LiNE support Voice though(?)

Yeah no more support after 4.2, won't work unless you can hack the app etc but even then, the services revert to Hangouts since GTalk ceases to exist now. - You have to cut your losses I'm afraid man

Nope, Stopped supporting it now as I said before.
Android 4.3
Since the latest update, you won't be able to downgrade to GTalk since Hangouts is a stock application.

I have GTalk on the my Note 3 but I am using a custom ROM (omega) and chose not to install hangouts in aroma installer. Then I just installed the GTalk apk and converted it to a system app. Works fine for me.

Thanks both - the Barclays app doesn't like (won't run on) rooted phones, or CyanogenMod (I believe), which is a real pain.
Just did a live chat with OnePlus, 'Danielito' assures me that it will run!
If it can't, install xposed then install RootCloak, configure it to work for Barclay's app then reboot. Worked for me for my bank app which doesn't work on rooted device before

Thanks for your interest. I have never found a way of getting the Barclays app to work on a rooted phone, and as far as I'm aware neither has anyone else. I actually have a rooted phone right now - Jiayu S3 - and whatever I've tried, the app still won't run (it says it can't run on rooted devices).
And to be honest, I just want to be able to install the app without having to do anything else!

I've tested myself and yeah, rootcloak no longer works. U may have just to settle on www.barclays.mobi if you wanna use on rooted devices.
The developers of rootcloak stated that Barclays app was updated to utilize the method of detecting through native library which is very difficult to bypass/hide away.

I have updated my post above with the explanation. Basically at the current moment the app wont run on any rooted device unless someone found a new way to bypass it. This is not a device specific issue. It applies to all rooted devices by how the root binary logic works.
And if you're not gonna root, yeah it will work
Sent from my ONE A2003 using Tapatalk
Just to clarify, the OP2 doesn't come rooted so you should be fine with the app.
Very wrong. The Barclay's App wouldn't run on dual SIM phones. They're such clowns.
I left Barclay's over this final straw and went to Lloyds.
But you still have to manage without root.
Exactly! Barclay banking app developers are f**king clowns!!! bought my self a zenfone 2 today (which is also dual sim) and the app wont even open. it just crashes. Spoke to barclays customer services and tech people and guess what they said?.... Said their app does not support Intel processors..... I MEAN WHAT THE ACTUAL F**K!!! what do they want me to do? sell my £200 phone and by another crappy spec one just to run there app? Absolutly ridiculous, iam fumin!
I ran Barclays app on my stock OnePlus 2 for over 2 years without any issue.
Hi, I am currently using a micro hdmi cable, it works great, but I would like the screen on the tablet to shut off while I am casting onto the larger monitor. Is this possible? There is an app in the PlayStore that can do this but it requires root, which I dont want to do. Thanks for any help or suggestions.
Hm, I am not sure but I dont think so.
Do you have the name of the app please?

Hi, I mentioned this app more of a reference and an explanation of what I want to accomplish. If I was rooted I would have given it a try as the Yoga Book is still on 6.0, and will be for some time if I am to believe posts regarding Lenovo Android updates.

I yearn for the same thing. Unfortunately, I don't think it's possible without root. Hopefully it'll be added in a future update. HDMI out without a way to turn the primary display off is useful in very few situations. One of those odd oversights by Lenovo.

I have to assume that you aren't asking your question properly.. You show a screenshot of the battery page usage in settings app and ask what it is? Do you mean the -5 app? I'm not positive but did you perhaps delete 5 apps?

Yea sorry I was half asleep when I made the post, but yes the -5 app it's never showed up before i thought it was odd and no haven't uninstalled any apps recently. I'm assuming it's a bug since it's the first update for A10.

No worries brother. I will say that is kinda strange? I would suggest keeping a close eye on it just to make sure it's not some malware. I tried a few Google searches for you because I was interested, however I didn't find anything pertinent. Anyway good luck and if you ever figure out what it is please share here.

No. I am not using anything like that. I am on OmniROM Tresk MOD second release of Android 10, Not even rooted. Dont think it has anything to do with Swift Installer.

Even i too have this in global version and it only appears after using hotspot for some time. If I don't use device as hotspot it doesn't appear so i can say it is related to hotspot.

Yes because I don't use photos so common is hotspot only and one user from oneplus forum community also confirmed that. Nevertheless i did contact the developers and they asked for all logs and all and said will get back if they find anything.
