I did a "real life" test: the battery had 17% (discharge over night 2%, when I went to bed it was 19%) so I set a timer for 20 minutes, just as if I were still there would shower and then have to go outside.
20 minutes later it was 39%, i.e. 22-23% more depending on the decimal point. That is a decent value! The heat development was also kept within limits - the infrared thermometer only measured 32 ° C on the back, which is hand warm.

You can survive a whole day with this phone - no problem!
But using the second-screen always on (with a video) and NeoSafe disabled - you can see that the percentage will not hold when you are using the phone constantly.
Charging is a bit slow (2h until fully charged I guess).

Full change in about hour. According to System2 app battery charges at 5.5 amps.
I don't always want the quickest charge (probably better for the battery not to). I've tried various of my old chargers and one said it was going to take 4 hrs to charge! Then I changed the cable with the same brigh and it took like 40 minutes. Can the phone tell the rating of the cable or something and limit the speed?

This device is extremely fast to charge. The 25W Super Fast Charging capabilities (compatible charger is in the box) won't make you wait for long to have 60% or even 80% of charge. Approximately 2-3% after every minute of charging is definitely very fast, and 30 minutes of charging will definitely give you at least 60% and, taking into consideration that the Snapdragon 730 is a very efficient 8nm processor and the screen is 1080p resolution, those 60% will last you quite a long time.

Charging speed is decent, about an hour and a half will give you full charge from 50%.

Very good, even on standard 5V USB sources. Took a couple of hours to charge to 100% from a desk-lamp accessory port,
and it arrived at around 56% charge, while I went through activation and changing settings. Since then, charge lasts, and

If using the original charger and default charging profiles on the phone, it is really fast. The charger does pushes current to the battery and it fills it within the expected time. I got from 5 to 50% in just about 10 mins. For full charge, it will go to 40 mins aprox.
It is recommended to set your charging profile to SLOW CHARGING, to ensure the best battery life possible. This lowers the charging current and speed, but theoretically, it should give the battery a longer life.
