Hi there, I am having a problem with a LG G2 which was given to the daughter o a friend of mine, here in Colombia. From what I understand the cellphone was a gift from a friend of the family that was on holiday on Christmas in the USA. Now as the title already suggest the problem to be able to use it its the FRP lock, they don't have the email of the last owner, they don't even know who this person is so there's no way to come to this data. I thought to use a ROM LineageOS 17.1 OFFICIAL, or some other but my problem its that I can't see which LG G2 model its, 801, 802, or 803.
That its my question, its there a ROM I can use to upgrade the cellphone? That seems to me the easiest way to circumvent the google lock.
Hope there is someone who be able/willing to help me. Thanks
Hello there, I am hopeful someone will help me, so please help me

Hello everybody,
I've Sim-Unlocked my Compact-III through imei-check.co.uk. Now it crashs every 5 minutes and isn't able to reboot.. I've tried everything from a new WM6 Rom to the old WM5 Rom from T-Mobile. The issue is that my warrianty is lost if they realize that it was unlocked by imei-check.co.uk.
Is there any way to re-enable the simlock?
Has anybody experienced a similar situation?
Will T-mob find out that it's unlocked?
What else can I do?
Pleeeeease help.

1.Take it into a shop and say, my phone dont work, just act stupid and let them send it off for repair.
2. contact Imei and ask for there help, they sold you a product and it screwed your phone, they can be liable.
3. throw it on the floor and call your insurance up and say your kids were playing with the phone. (maybe call insurance up first, then if they say ok then throw it)
any further hints?
In reality T-Mobile won't care that it's SIM unlocked, and won't check.
If you can flash the original T-Mobile ROM back on so it looks untampered with they will just honour the warranty.

I just flashed it back to the original ROM and brought it to T-mob Austria (bought it there).
I hope they won't check..
Just in case I get a new device, will it have Netlock???
Pretty likely , yes, sorry.
Keep any documentary evidence of the exchange if they do issue an new unit as IMEI check may be willing to help if you ask them nicely! They are a reputable company and as such they live or die by their customer relations.
I'm still waiting for the call from tmobile. Seems like they haven't noticed the simlock. I think they would have noticed me if they found out about it... So I'm still hoping...
Hello all, sorry for being a noob. I have a small problem with rooting my G1. I bought my G1 from the states. I then got the unlock code. Then i moved to germany where i live now. Hi,
I have just bought an Orange Touch 3G off ebay.
Unlocked it to my Three sim and guess what. Yes as I now know it wont go wifi. (Bloody cheek Orange).
Went on Htc to update the Rom, won't let me. (Bloody cheek Htc).
Could anyone on this forum please help me. I need either a serial number from a non network Touch 3g so I can download the Rom. (i understand if nobody wants to let me have it) or if anyone can give me or point me in the right direction for a Rom. If not, thanks for reading and I have a cheap Touch 3G for sale
regards
Andrew
OK, found it all.
Looked around, found everything.
First ran
Jade-HardSPL_V5_20R3_232HSPL
Then _htc_tOUCH_3g_mr2009_jADE_Europe_2.32.401.2_Radio_Sign_12.41.30.16_0.41.30.12_Ship
All working.
Thanks to all who contribute.

hi,
couldn't find a solution anywhere, so i'm trying here, apologies if i misplaced my post.
i bought a s4 SM-S975L from wallmart (straightalk) in the US, but got relocated by my employer to israel.
now im stationed in israel/malta (rotating).
the s4 SM-S975L is locked apparently for any sim. tried to contact the company - they blew me off.
now im stuck with a phone which i cant use.
does anyone know how to "sim unlock" this one?
please?
thank you
You might want to remove your email unless you want to get harvested by a spambot.
Straight Talk Unlocking Policy
It's no surprise that Straight Talk blew you off. Your situation doesn't meet their terms and conditions in that you haven't had the phone active for one year. As to unlocking your phone, you can use either of the two methods that have already been discussed on these forums. Either going through the service menu to unlock, or using RegionLock Away and praying it works. Otherwise, you're out of luck and should send the phone to someone you know in the US so they can return it to WalMart.
thanks, but
thanks, but the mentioned dont fit.
they are not suitable for the model i have.
any other ideas? anyone?
If the methods mentioned didn't work, you'll have to purchase an unlock code from a third party. You could always put the phone on eBay and sell it, if you're not able to return it and don't want to spend any further money.
Be aware that even if you do get the phone unlocked LTE will not work in Israel as the phone doesn't have the correct bands. 3G and HSPA+ should still function.
thanks, can
thank you.
can you perhpas guide me to where i can get such a code?
3G and HSPA+ should still function - thats ok
http://www.sammobile.com/unlock/
Sam mobile doesn't support this model in the unlocking site, :/
Search the Internet as there are other places besides them. If no one can unlock it, then you have to use Straight Talk for a year and get the unlock code that way.
