Are there any new Root battery calibration apps for our OnePlus 5 Cheeseburger for Android 10? There are no good ones in the Play Store anymore.

Battery Calibration is not needed in this day and age. Please accept that it will probably not make battery life better. A quick google gave me this: https://www.androidpit.com/how-to-calibrate-the-battery-on-your-android-device
It is not different for different devices afaik.

Help! Bad battery life from day one. Possible causes? Faulty hardware?

Why my G2 has such poor battery life?
A year ago, I bought G2 F320 from China. It was supposed to be brand new retail box set, but it arrived with fake back cover, some tiny scuffs at the edges, and of course knock-off accessories.
Also, the screen had three whiter spots which were only visibly on black backgrounds. They are permanent and look like pressure marks.
Anyway, that all was not a big deal. The big deal was that from day one I had terrible battery life. The only things I used phone for was light web browsing, notes, occasional photo. I never had any games or benchmark stuff on it.
No matter what ROM I tried (all Cloudy variants, KK, Lollipop) I got max 20-24h battery life with 1h30o Screen On Time. If the SoT was less than 1h, I would occasionally get 48h or battery life. I recently tried BlissPop and Resurrection Remix with CM13 (Marshmallow) and although it worked gloriously well, the battery life went down by half: 10-24h, depending on SoT.
From day one I set up some extreme battery saving tricks, blocking wakelocks, disabling services, minimal brightness, the phone went into airplane mode every night for 6 hours. And the above is max I got.
And at the same time I read that G2 has such phenomenal battery life, with some reaching SoT of 6+ hours, while most getting 4-5+ hours. And that was WITHOUT all the powersaving stuff I did!
Sure, f320 has a 350mhA of a battery, but that in no way should account for such results. In fact, all reports from f320 owners I found said battery life was not much different form the d802 etc.
I even tried running it without an SD card, but there was no discernible difference.
So, the obvious conclusion was: bad battery. Right? After all, if the seller replaced the original back cover with a fake, why wouldn’t he do it with original battery. So I recently got an original LG replacement battery at a local GSM shop. It was sealed, had QRcode on it and was supposed to be original. Seller advertised it can be verified at any LG service center, though I never did.
Anyway, after using this new battery for a more than week, doing all the “calibration” tricks, and letting the phone get used to it, I can tell absolutely no difference in battery life.
So, assuming the battery is good, what are the other options? Could it be that there is something wrong with some internal component? I was thinking that since the excessive drain seems to me connected to SoT, perhaps it’s the screens fault? Perhaps apart from having pressure marks, it has a flaw which causes it to drain more power than it should?
If that is likely, then I would be willing to replace it. But if this is a shot in the dark, then there is not much sense in shelving out 50% of how much the phone is worth for just to replace the screen and get not difference.
What do you think?
Try to full charge then plug off the charger then calibrate (battery level will be drop suddenly)
Charge again until %100 then calibrate again then charge again...
Do it 3-4 times until FULLY charged and making calibration won't cause drop of battery level, you're done.
Make this process ONCE and that make battery some kind of overcharge so use your own risk!
Then charge normally use of 2-3 charge cycle shows correct battery level and that makes a little battery time.
(Fully usage of my phone 5 hours and that trick makes 5:30 hours with d802)
Install wakelock detector (maybe you've done this) or install xposed framework with Amplify, both detects wakelocks (Amplify can block wakelocks, alarms and services)
Try to romtoolbox lite to stop recievers from AUTOSTART MANAGER. Especially google play services consumes a lot of battery (~%30). Block if not using or recieve notifications from "that" app.
Deleting own apps of LG helps too (if you're using stock)
Hope it helps

Best Rom for Battery-saving

Using CM13.1 right now, replaced it with a battery purchased from aliexpress about 6 months ago. Battery still sucks. Not as bad as the original (after 2 years of usage), but it's getting bad. I'm draining about 10% per hour. All of my partial wakelocks from better battery stats shows it's fine. I need a rom that's best for battery life. TIA!
I didn't understood : Which kind of Apk does you use? Which part need the most of the power? Maybe you can check it with the Apk WLD. My OpO is like yours over 2y old. The accu lives round about 2-3 days. In the beginning it was round about 5 day's, but in the meantime I use more apk...

I am using also the Rom from Sultanxda.
My Oneplus are over 2 years old and my accu lives 2 days.
That is really a smooth and fast Rom.

Why LG G4 Batterys Su*ks

Hey all. It is my 2nd G4 device and 6 months old (first one died). Recently i realized that battery drains a lot on normal usage. I also disabled useless functions to avoid battery draining. But nothing helped. So, i decided to download an app called AccuBattery from play store. I've used this app for 3 days in order to be sure of the result. Here it is. Estimated battery capacity is 2500mAh. 500 mAh drop for just 6 months.
This is very unlikely. I have it for about 6 months now and I noticed that battery life is fluctuating. What you are getting is an estimation based on whatever Android is supplying. I've had 2 days between 2 charges for a few times when Android or any of the Google Apps did not go wild on it. I have a second battery (the one that comes with official LG battery kit) and I did not have significant lower battery time with this one (it has 2900 mAh). If your G4 is international and you are not afraid of the bootloop, then unlock the bootloader, install Imperium (or Genisys) and enjoy far better and constant battery life. I've had enough Android devices to not blame the hardware (even a Nexus). I have always had significant battery life with a well made custom Rom than with the official one.

I have installed SimpleGX kernel that based on battery and overall speed improvements which is awesome. Also did not see any terrible kind of lag or freeze on this kernel compare to the stock one. Anyways
You can always get better results with a custom kernel. I think only the S6 is a little better at managing apps, but my work S6 does only have work email and Ingress running at all times.

Do not take these as granted. As I said , that app cannot know exactly how many mAh the battery has. It estimates this based on information found in the system.

Yeah it estimates. But the fact is that we can not say it estimates wrongly. It gives approximate results

Battery Life with Pie, heres my experience.... let's hear yours?

Meh...they're just numbers my brother, in the grand scheme of things, it really doesn't matter. I've got the DW app,, just haven't installed it
Battery life seems better after I flashed Nathan's 3.0 kernel!
My battery life is quite a bit worse. Nothing has changed in my use of apps. On 8.1 July I would have just under 50% battery remaining. I use a slow charge dock at night next to my bed with Sleep as Android running, and back to 100% in the morning.
Now on 9.0 I am at less that 30% end of day, with the slow charge dock sometimes it just maintains charge, but often it decreases. This morning I was at 12% with 24% showing last night at bedtime.
When I plug into the dock, I check that charging shows on the lock screen and led light. I manually turn of always on display and enable immersive display with tiles in the pull down menu to insure the screen being blacked out at night, even though Sleep as Android runs.

My Battery life has gone for worse after installing P all fresh.. Battery life was good when i was on beta, once i moved to Final release of P and wiped everything for fresh start.. battery life been worse.. need to charge battery every 8-9 hours.. usage is same as i had earlier . I have even uninstalled many apps which were present on 8.1 and P beta...
Pretty disappointing.. Not sure if its only mine Pixel 2 XL.

Battery is def worse for me. I did OTA at first and then clean install. Same result. My battery life is better in 8.1 with always in display vs 9.0 WITHOUT always in display. Idle drain is worse also on 9.0 for me. I downgraded back to 8.1
Battery life for me has been better overall as well. Not a dramatic increase, as it was already pretty good on O, but it is noticeable.
Battery is not good for me on 9.0 why are some getting good and others not? Same hardware and software?

Hardware yes, software no, we all use different apps.
I'm trying to track it down, but the Battery section is showing nothing. I just installed BBS and granted the adb permissions hoping that will show me something.
And even if two people have the exact same apps installed, everybody has different usage of each app.

How are you getting this kind of battery. I used to get that on my galaxy S8+ but can't get 8 hrs sot on my pixel 2xl. I usually get maybe 7 max. Any tips?
Im not seeing any difference with the new feature adaptive battery, its neither worse or better
So in other words... Some ppl the worse than before, some better than, and others are getting about the same, all to varying degrees... That's nuts for real...

battery capacity

Hello all,
I was curious to see what is my current battery capacity since I see a huge decline in my SOT since couple week.
As you all know the phone should have a 3700 mah but after using the application accubattery pro I see that I have only 3300 mah.
Is there any one with the same doubt? Should I use a different application to see this value.
I don't have root in my phone so please advise me on applications that don't need root.

Nothing to worry about. https://photos.app.goo.gl/jnk1kn76SfGk173a8 this was my first charge with this phone from 0 to 100% (overnight) until the phome didn't draw anymore current. I use this to compare when I have the feeling that my battery is dying.
I would search your drain else where. Dolby Atmos Magisk module was a big one for me.
Also I do agree. I used to get 6hrs SoT over 24-36 hours and now that has decreased. I'm not charging my phone every 2 days anymore but every day now.

I'm a bit disappointed to be honest. Need to see what else is hapoejing and if someone else has the same issue.

Welcome to the phone world. Get rid of unnecessary apps is all you can do. Perhaps a factory reset but a RMA or replacement of the battery isn't going to help. Just enjoy your phone and charge it when you want.

I am not sure how accurate this app is - especially with OnePlus devices. I have used it on my last 3 phones, all OnePlus devices, and it has never given me what I consider an accurate reading of the my true estimated capacity. It's always less, sometime considerably off from the "Design Capacity". I just got the 6T and my estimated capacity is almost the same as yours.
Hope this helps.
