Thought I would share a recent video I uploaded on the LG G3 video camera and audio test. The video was uploaded directly from my phone to YouTube.
Is there anyway to know if I am playing 4k hdr video in default app.In youtube it supports only 1080p hdr with horrible framedrops.I have tried some 4k hdr mp4 samples but it seems that its only playing it in 4k because in youtube when I select hdr, the app takes over the brightness.Has anybody played downloaded 4k hdr video yet.Let's have a discussion below

same here, 4k hdr doesnt appear in youtube only 1080p hdr, frame drops could be due to "debug gpu overdraw" option enabled turn it off in developer options i think it should do it...
how did you manage to download 4k hdr video? I tried every youtube downloader I cant seem to download with that option...
Try 4kmedia.org and you can download full 4k hdr videos sample. My Developer mode is off. There is obvious frame drops and battery drain while playing HDR.Sony is bullshitting with us.If you find a way to play 4k hdr video let me know
Hi guys,
I've had the 2nd gen FireTV for a few years now and only recently when I tried some HDR content, I found out it was not supported.
Enter the new 4k firestick with 1.5GB DD4 ram, HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision.
The Geekbench shows that the new 4K Firestick out performs both the Pendant stick and also the FireTV cube.
The FireTV 2nd gen is still faster but with the lack of HDR, its made me look else where.
4K Stick PRO's
Smooth 4K UHD playback
Dolby Atmos, Vision, HDR10 and HDR10+ supported
New remote now supports volume adjustment of your soundbar / TV / Amp
Faster than FireTV cube & Pendant
DD4 Ram
At £34.99/ $34.99 its an absolute steal!
4K Stick CONS
Alexa still needs more functionality
No Native Youtube app
You can see the full review including gaming, benchmarks, 4K playback here
Congratulations?
Hello
I've been using gcam for my lineage os 15.1 rom, shooting photos is no doubtful better than stock, but whenever I try to put back camera resolution on UHD 4K (30 fps) it displays camera error, doo you have any recommendation for a 3rd party app that permits 4k shooting or anyone had gcam working with it
hello there
just ordered the nvidia shield tube 2019...but i am confuse with dolby atmos true hd 7.1 support...i am using it only for 1080p dolby atmos true hd 7.1 or 4k atmos(but on a rare occasion because my tv is 1080p)...also no gaming or no over the network playback on plex....all playback will be happen from a 256gb sd card...inserted in the the tube...so my question is should i face any issue with true hd 7.1 atmos
Works fine on all the shields since 2015. If your receiver doesn't do that though you'll be SOL.
