Hi,
I have a Samsung XCover 2 (or GT-S7710) that is stuck in a boot loop. The phone has never been flashed or rooted.
I couldn't get the Samsung logo shown, just a not-spinning spinner.
Image I have : andre-k.at/img/image1.jpeg
Taken from thread : forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/gt-s7710-samsung-bootloop-t3015707
When I try to enter in recovery mode (vol up, home, power) nothing happens.
When I try to enter in download mode, I have download mode shown a few seconds, then reboot...
I tried to flash a stock rom with odin and download mode, but flashing was interrupted by a loop, and now I have "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again." shown a few seconds, and then reboot...
Any idea on how to get my phone working ?
Thanks
HI,
the real reason is maybe that the phone isnt charging
To fix it hold on charger after 1st shut down hold power volume down and home button. When you enter download mobe click on volume down button very fast before it turns off. It wll restart to fastboot ( samsung galaxy xcover 2 and model showed. It will shut down after it. So when you click on restart after 1 sec hold the volume up and home button. the power button will automaticly trigger and then when it showes the logo 1st time wait when the screen is black wait and when logo shows again release the buttons. then wait you whil enter recovery and dont do anything just let it charge it wont restart in this mode for some reason
reply me if you did it or there is an error
I actually have the same problem, but when I reboot it in fastboot and I press the volume up + home button, it displays the loading screen and it just doesn't work.
Am I doing it wrong ?
Hi guys,
I can not turn on my huawei y625-u21. When i am trying to switch it on, phone freezes on huawei logo (first screen which is shown on start - probably called boot screen). I am not able run also recovery mode (vol+) or update mode (vol+ and vol-), so i am not able to perform update of firmware from sd card. Is there any other way to to perform update (flash) of firmware on device, which is not turned on? I have read something about twrp flash, but if i am not wrong, device should be switched on before this process. I would like to install new firmwere, to check, if phone has hardware or software defect.
to put it into recovery mode, you need to hold volume up button and power button, once the huawei logo appears, release power button but keep holding volume up, after about 30 - 45 seconds, it will boot into recovery mode. i have had this issue over and over and i've had to discover this method myself after trying all methods i found, you can reach me on [email protected] in case you need anything else. if it fails to boot into recovery, just remove the battery for a few seconds and insert then try again. i have this very model of phone too.

Install the stock FW with MiFlash.

What I did was to quickly, in between the time it shuts off and restarts, hold down both volume buttons and the power button and hold them till the phone vibrates and starts again, then it will go to the TWRP recovery. Then install your stock recovery.
hi, thanks for answers, my problem is solved
before brick, it had being prompted for a while to upgrade the system software, I always tab later to postpone it. but yesterday accidentally hit the "upgrade now" then it was bricked after the phone was rebooted.
the screen stayed at the huawei logo and powered by Android at the bottom. I am able to push/hold the power button to power it off, but not able to power it up by any buttons or combination. it will automatically turn on (randomly) and stayed at the huawei logo for ever.
when the phone is on at the Huawei logo, connecting it to PC but either "adb devices -l" or "fastboot devices" shows nothing, no devices.
could anyone please share some light?
Thanks

Did you ever unlock bootloader? Could you enter fastboot mode? (hold volume - and power button). Or eRecovery (plug usb cable, hold volume + and power, until Huawei logo appear, release power button)?

unfortunately, I didn't unlock bootloader, so I can't enter fastboot mode actually. as I mention in the original post, I can only power it off when it's at the Huawei logo, but not able to power it on with any combination, it will randomly power itself on.
You have a corrupted /data partition, happened to me one day, on another huawei device (p9lite). You should, I said should, be able to reboot to huawei e-recovery, using power+volume up, release power after huawei logo shows up. Unfortunately you have to arm yourself with lot of patience and try to use an "unbrick guide" from another device. I'll try to find any info I can for you, but in the mean time you should look as well.
PS:/ I didn't even tried to install anything custom on this mate9, since it;s an expensive phone for me and I cannot afford to brick it up.
Hi, big problem with my note.
Unlocked with custom rom today starts going in bootloop with warning screen about this is not the original rom. So I shut down the phone and after a bit I connect it to the power ac and the phone starts to boot loop with logo honor heavenly background. I cannot enter in bootloader pressing the right buttons.
Is it bricked? There's anything I can do? Please help me and sorry for my english.
Thanks.
Hi @rolling_bonzy
you can try to enter erecovery and let it install the latest version of stockrom.
to do this, connect your device to your computer with usb, then hold powerbutton as long as it needs to restart, then keep holding "vol+" until on the screen "your device has been blablabla not trusted" and the message shows up "your device is booting now..." - wait a while and you land in the Huawei eRecovery, where you can "Download latest version and recovery" ... do that
perhaps it is needed a second time after that for doing a factory reset in the same menu
let us know if it worked, cheers =)

Many thanks for your reply. Unfortunately no succes. But I notice that if I press "vol -" it stops to boot loop and the screen is black. If I release the button restart flashing.
and does it flash or only wants to?
perhaps you have a chance if you create a 'dload'-folder on your sdcard and therein copy this file (for example): http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G3130/g1699/v168765/f1/full/update.zip (i have it from the topmost entry from http://pro-teammt.ru/firmware-database/?firmware_model=EDI-AL10&firmware_page=0 -> click on 'filelist')
After that, connect your device with usb on the computer, restart and keep holding vol+ and vol-
