Hi everyone. quick question about the oneplus wireless fast charging stand. does fast wireless charging damage the battery more than wired charging? or it is similar because it is a mastered technology ?

Yes.
Theoretically
It increases temperature..
So you should avoid it
But therefore you've got a cooling fan built-in that stand.

Hey guys so I was wondering I know having the correct phone charger is important because having the correct voltage is key and can ruin your batter. So I was wondering do I need to find the right wireless charger to match our phone's battery voltage or does wireless charging not related. Also what are some cases that match the voltage needed by the nexus 4.
Thanks
The wireless charging is using the qi Standard, so every qi certified charger will work fine

Hello, It someone used on N4? I'm looking one of samsung, is written 0,5/2A. It will reduce the time of charge? It will disintegrate the battery? Thanks in advice.

It will do neither of those (Well, maybe the battery will charge a liiiittle bit faster). The charging circuit will pull only a certain amount of current, most likely around 1.2 amps, no matter how much power the charger can supply.
The phone's charging circuit (load) won't draw any more current than it does from the stock charger, no matter how much current is available.

^ this. However, if the voltage is higher (>5V, if I remember correctly), you'll want to avoid using the charger.

Ok so is useless that "fast charger". I thinks that 2A in 1 hours delivers 2000mha so have to complete charge in just 1hours and something (to arrive to 2100mha)

Even if our devices were truly capable of accepting an input of 2A, the charge isn't linear; i.e. the charge rate isn't constant. Take a look at this thread to see what I mean! It's a good read for everyone.
Your battery gauge is lying to you (and it's not such a bad thing)

I use the charger that came with my HP Touchpad, which is a higher rate charger than the stock Nexus 4. It does make the phone charge faster, but it also heats it up. I don't use it as my full time charger, but its nice for a faster top up.
Any cheaper or better alternatives to it? It has to be bought separately since it is not included in the box.
For me its include on the box. Its the square one isnt?. When i plug in it says Turbo Chargue on.

Confirm that it's working great
Recommend Tronsmart qc2.0 chargers, They are qualcomm certified, and featured quick charge brand.
I just bought a tronsmart QC charger for my car. How do I know if quick charge is working though? It just displays charging still...

On stock, it'll display turbo power connected. If cm, use Ampere from the play store
Hmm OK well I don't think the one I bought is really a quick charger unless my car simply doesn't put enough power out?! It only displays charging and I'm on stock.

Check using Ampere in market.
Charging time
Hi Guys does ant tested how much time it is taking to fully charged from 0%.
Does any one have turbo 25 charger if yes how much it is taking to fully charged with that turbo 25 charger.
I have the same question as sandeep,
how long does the turbo need to charge the bat?
Does the Turbo charger simply has more power than standard chargers, or is there anything else special or proprietary?
More amperage,my turbo charger is 2.4a, whereas standard ones are 1a I believe
There's more to it than just straight amperage in the charging circuit, here is a good explanation of it
http://www.androidauthority.com/quick-charge-explained-563838/
The newer fast charge systems use a stepped system to always give the most amps the battery can take for any given situation. There is actually 3 systems right now (I hate when everyone can't agree)
There is Quick Charge 2.0 (QC 2.0) used by Moto & HTC, 2nd the new USB-C connector has its own spec for fast charge but unfortunately a lot of the USB-C coming on newer devices are only using the old USB 2.0 spec - so no fast charge available. Last but not least One Plus has their own unique fast charge spec.
From what I have read if you have a good USB cable (one designed for charging) and you have USB adapter capable of at least 3.0 amps it might trigger the QC 2.0 circuit in the phone to go into turbo mode but it is not a given fact, more like trial and error.
The phone needs more than 5 hours to charge fully. The quick charger is a must have i my eyes.
I'll order the TurboPower™ 15 now.
delete because wrong thread
My nexus 4 had Red light anytime when i try to charger it. I try ro replace a new battery . any solution?? Thanks

Hi I just solved the same issue today.
I opened the phone up, unplugged the battery, then unplugged everything I could find, replugged everything back, and that did it.
It is to be noted that I replaced the card with the USB port on it. Twice in less than six months. I hope I won't have to open that phone again, and that your phone will run again.

I replaced my battery with one from eBay hoping for the battery life to be restored. Sadly, although it works, battery life remains about 6 hours
I also get the red flashing light when I charge (even with the new battery) but it eventually goes away and starts charging.
Maybe the part with the USB port is damaged somehow. I also had battery life issues. Looking at the wakelocks it turned out it was the slim port (the USB hdmi thingy). Since I replaced that part, my battery life seems restored.
Have a look at wakelocks and alarms with apps such as Better Battery Stats.

Hello.
I have a little question:
The battery of my note 3 is subjected to gymnastics whose effects I do not know the long term.
It is charged at 100% normally then after 30 min it is disconnected for 20 seconds but sometimes longer for 10 minutes then it recharges and starts again every 30 minutes.
Do you think that these micro charge and discharge damages my battery or that it is minimal and therefore negligible?
How old is the battery?
a month
If the battery is doing this it is because I am using an inductive charger which disconnects the battery before overcharging.

Do you have original battery of 3200 mah or you buy something higher and stronger than original?
I buy battery but with larger capacity about 4200 mAh and I have similar problem and I risk my phone with no name battery.
I have similar problem like you,but I fix it when I change battery and bring back my original from 3200 mAh
Original battery thanks
