Place to download Samsung firmware - Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) Questions & Answers

Hello,
I have SM-J730F , I want to install android version applicable to Canada mobile providers to enable some features, however when I searched on sammobile for an android version compatible to Canada I can't find anything, Is there another place I can search in? and what if I can't find an android version for Canada is there any applicable versions for North America service providers? If this is not applicable is there a way to change my phone CSC to Canada?
Thanks

[Q] Firmware country code change

Hi All,
I bought S5 in UAE, but the firmware shows Hongkong code.
When I checked S5 today at another shop while I did the hands on, I found that after the Android status, I saw United Arab Emirates section under that I saw two status mentioned starts with TR I guess.
So here, my mobile is in use at UAE the firmware of hongkong..my doubt is will I get firmware updates from my service provider regularly?
Is this a really an issue?
What do I need to do?
Thanks
Surendran

[Q] Galaxy S5 firmware question

Good day teams
I want to load a stock firmware for my S5, and I have seen many different links and images. On the firmware details I see specs like model number (which I know is very important) but I often see region or country. Is this a critical aspect to consider? I am in South Africa on the Vodacom network and I have not yet seen a link for firmware for lollipop for this country. Does it HAVE TO BE matching my country as well or can I use any lollipop image for SM-G900F?
Any one have a link to a thread for stock firmware lollipop, (or kitkat will do as well) for my SM-G900F, and maybe can answer my concerns about country spec.
thanks
Links not allowed to the site, but search for "sammobile"
You can install any ROM for the G900F afaik

It is my understanding that if you want stock then goto sammobile. match your model number and your build number to the stock roms that are available. Then wipe and flash the stock rom to your device.

How to proceed with install branded ROM from my operator in order to get WifiCalling?

Hi Guys,
My telephone operator has run Wifi Calling feature only for branded phones from their own distribution (PLAY telecom from POLAND).
I have my Galaxy S7 EDGE from other distribution and other country.
I've found software from my operator here on UPDATO . COM portal
SM-G935F
Country/Region Poland (Play)
Product Code PRT
OS VersionMarshmallow(Android 6.0.1)
Release Date20.09.2016
PDAG935FXXU1BPH6
CSCG935FPRT1BPH1
PhoneG935FXXU1BPH1
This is exactly what I need and this can be awesome to run Wifi Calling by install branded software (they have other own implementations of WIFI Calling).
The question to you guys: How to proceed with the most clear installation to get software like in branded phones? What I should select in ODIN?
I have to clear all data and install above and change CSC to PRT because my phone has other CRC.
What do you thing? Is it make sense?
This is official software so I shouldn't lost warranty?
Thanks,
Mateusz
Looking for a similar answer for using T-mobile (US) network with the international S7 edge (SM-G935F).
The latest INS (india) firmware for G935F apparently had wifi calling support, any way I can make it work with my carrier in US?
Is that possible to check if below firmware is multi-csc or single csc and which csc are inculded inside?

[firmware] g950fd \ g950f samsung pay

so for those who got their S8 UNLOCKED from ebay\amazon..etc there is a chance that you might have got the version of the S8 of a country that doesn't support it yet, thus it will not work on your phone, for e.g. (AFG- Afghanistan, EGY- Egypt...etc).
So to solve this issue we need to flash the firmware of a country that has SAMSUNG PAY working on an EXYNOS device (G950F, G950FD).
Last year that fixed the issue for me on my S7 Edge G935F.
An example of a country firmaware that have Samsung Pay working is XSG - UAE
So if someone can provide us with the firmware files for both G950F and G950FD , that will be so much of help for many of us.
Also we need ODIN that works for the S8.
Thank you!
Joe
I think you are looking for this firmware -

Hi,
Are you sure that flashing the rom of specific country will make samsung pay work on S8 or S8 Plus
I have an Exynos S8 Plus SMG955FD which was bought in Nepal but there was no pre installed samsung pay as it has not launched its service for S-Pay in Nepal.
If i flash the indian firmware for Exyons S8 Plus on the same Nepal Device as becasue In india now it S-pay service is launched and supported.
Will this work ? 100 %
Both Indian And Nepal device are same model SM G955FD and both country support carries of both countries as well. Only the CSC code is different i.e. India - G955FXXU1AQE5 & Nepal - G955FXXU1AQDG
Since almost all the international S8/S8+s are on the multi CSC ROM, all you need to do is find a SIM from one of the SPAY supported countries (India, Singapore, UAE, UK works) and reset your phone (preferably from the recovery menu) and put in the SIM and reboot. All the regional features are activated, and you get SPAY to work even after changing your SIMs.
I am currently using the India SPAY and it works with all cards (Chase, Amex, Citi are what I have checked). Of course you won't get Samsung rewards since its a program only available in US.
tl;dr No need to flash ROMs. Only reset required.

I'll try this but will this make Samsung Pay work for only that region? I.e. if I use an Indian SIM will it activate the Indian version of Samsung Pay or can I use the US version which has rewards

CSC for international version ?

Hi i have a 9500 S4 Exynos version, the international version, i recently upgraded to Lineageos but i want to go back to stock but i don't know which Rom to choose because of the region code. i live in dominican republic and i don't want to install the one for my country because it will probably be filled with bloatware from Claro (local carrier) and i don't know if it will probably lock the phone, the phone is factory unlocked by the way. Can someone can pass a link for a Stock rom running lollipop with the international csc?
Download CSC CAU from sammobile.com, but I cannot provide a link due to site rules. CAU is for countries in the Caucasus mountain range in Europe, and is probably your best bet to be bloat free. You may still wish to download the Dominican Republic firmware anyway, in case of issues with the CAU firmware.
I'll try that
