Simplest way to calibrate your Battery [for root users only]

I noticed that in CWM 3 (on gingerbread running device), when u click on wipe battery stats in CWM, Nothing happens while in old CWM's when we use to click on wipe battery stats, we get a message "battery stats wiped successfully".
So to wipe my battery stats, i found a software in android market called "battery calibration"
Just download this software from market (its free) and you will get your results.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration&feature=search_result
I plugged in the cable to get to 100% charge (4250mV), I clicked "Battery Calibration" then waited until it was done and unplugged the phone. Then it was at 99% wtf. What does this mean? Is my battery calibrated now or what?
Multiple posts on here full battery reads 100-97%
Battery is only calibrated after battery stats wiped battery drained and charged to 100% then phone used for two weeks .

Thanks for the info, man. So, now that I have calibrated with this app, I just have to drain the battery to 0% - then the phone turns off automatically - and recharge till 100%, then it's calibrated? Woah
PS: Do i have to recharge my phone while it is on or better while it is off?
Galaxy S 2.2.1 firmwares never show 100% battery life when not on charger. As soon as u unplug ur charger the level will drop to 96% or something. Reconnect ur phone to charger again and after 5 mins it ll again show 100% than again as soon as u unplug it, the level drop down to anywhere more than 96%.
just untick wait for 100% option in battery calibration software and ur battery ll be calibrated. do once ur phone is fully charged and once when ur battery level is just 1-2%
Actually its down to the modem version you run.
I ran one modem version that gave me excellent battery life (near on two days of constant use and only 50% drain. Also it STAYED at 100% for about 20 minutes after unplugging if i didnt use the phone, when i used this modem.
The problem is that to get better battery life you have to compromise on signal quality on the modem. The less battery the modem uses usually results in less signal strength, because its not using as much power to find its mast.
read #11 in "Getting the most out of your SGS" thread. That section is on why it's not good to overcharge your battery.
11. Do NOT overcharge
--Why, when, where: Almost all new batteries have an overcharging protection. This means that the protection that is built into the battery will not let it charge to 100%. This is a feature, not a bug! This will help prolong your battery life while also keeping it safe from overheating/explosion/etc. Do not try to trick it and unplug and plug again until you see 100%, just get used to the fact that you can't have 100% battery anymore and live with it, or you risk destroying your battery.
My device only goes upto 4170mV.

During call battery drops from 50 to 20% and then go back to 50

Hi. I flashed all roms in this forum and i have problem with the battery. Now i am with 2.1 original rom with fastboot but my battery behave very strange. It did't charge to 100%(just to 99%). From 99% to 50% ot drops well but when reach 50 or 40 during a call it drops down to 20% or even less and then go back to 50%. And thats all the way to 0%. ( During call drops very much and then go back to the % before the call). Is there a way to fix this? Thanks

battery calibration
-either using an app called battery calibration
-or via CWM > wipe battery stats
When should we delete battery stats, when phone is fully charged, or it doesn't matter? Should battery be removed after wipe for few minutes, or? Should we than drain battery untill phone goes off, or?

[Q] Battery drain while charging in airplane mode

I've got installed aurora 5 update 16. When I put my phone on airplane mode, when on cable for charging, my battery drains.
The screenshot is from two tries charging my phone while on airplane mode. As you can see charging stops after a while and the battery falls.
Any ideas why battery drains while phone is on cable for charging?

I have the same problem

I have experienced the similar problem before. The charging reading is fluctuating while I am charging and discharging. However, it will be solved if you have re-calibrated your battery of your phone. Here is my recommendation procedures on how to re-calibrating your battery of your phone:
1.Install "Battery Calibration" from Google Play
Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration
2. Switch off your phone and let the charger to charge your battery until it is full, and leave it charging for 15-30 minutes after the battery has been fully charged
3. Reboot into clockwork and wipe your battery stats (advance -> Wipe Battery Stats)
4. Reboot your phone normally and let the battery to be fully charged, leave your phone to be charging for 15 minutes after the battery is full
5. Recalibrate your battery using "Battery Calibration"
6. Let the phone to be discharged (or use it normally)
7. If the battery reading is still unstable, then return to step 2 and go through the procedures again for several times.
In my experience, it is a bit hard to recalibrate the battery if you have done it for once, but the battery reading should be perfectly fine eventually if you have run through the procedures for several times.
I hope this can help you to solve your problem!
Thanks. I'll try it.
You can try my ROM Mlora... For better battery life!
Same here on update 16 and 17. Tried multiple calibration tools, including CWM 6. No solution for me.
Strange:
After a night charging in airplane mode it looks like it's drained to e. g. 23% but when disconnected an reconnected again it jumps to 80 and 90 % in just a few minutes.

After several tries calibrating my battery, the problem still remains. Maybe it's an Aurora ICS 5u17 bug

battery life drop fast only under idle state

Hello,
Why my stock battery life drop fast only under idle state? It was a 1 yr old Note 4 from my cousin and the issue doesn't happen with the mpj 6440mah extended battery which I bought recently. Anyone out there ever had this problem?
Thanks!
please help!!
Do you leave background applications running?
Try battery doctor or clean master to kill those applications if you have root better try root booster
Still doesnot work try factory resetting.

First few percentages (from 100-85%) drop faster. The idle drain should be 1% per 1.5 hours or 1% per hour. Try discharging battery to 25% than charge it fully (do this twice) see if it improves.

Rapid Battery Drainage Issue

There is a sudden quick battery percentage drop and then it normalizes in the 20% Mark again. Need solution.
Same happened to me the problem was battery just getting old after I bought a new one it was never a problem again if it's not that then it might be a problem with a rom or battery calibration
You can do battery calibration. (require root)
You can do battery calibration. (require root)
Same happens to me, it remains 20% then suddenly drains abruptly !
