Hi
My head unit has a video out port and I used to connect to a overhead monitor.
At first it worked well, but after a while no more images were displayed but gray background.
I contacted the seller and got another replacement head unit, but the same issue occurred. Worked well at begining then no images but gray background.
It seems that after I used MirrorLink and then this issue occurred, but I don't know if it was caused by it.

got it running for some days, but today morning, touchscreeen is again not working.
Did a reflash, but touch still not working.

I bought a new navigation stuff from xtrons for my vehicle.
I had two usb-spots, one for my wifi-dongle, one for my iphone.
I got some questions, hope you can answer them to me:
Is it possible to hear music from my phone, over USB?
Makes it sense or is it possible to upgrade to a new version or custom rom?

I'll have to start by saying I know almost nothing about android head units. I bought pretty much the only android head unit available to my 2014 Mercedes Benz A45 AMG a few years back and it's terribly slow. It was some overpriced unit ($700) from some Chinese site I can't remember.
Would it be possible to install a better ROM or a mod to it to make it better?
I'd also be extremely interested in replacing the CPU/RAM with a better one. Would it be possible to just solder on a new CPU and a RAM chip?
I hope someone would be able to help me improve my system in any way. I'm also open to replacing it completely if there are better units available nowadays.
I'm open to all suggestions and any info you might have for me that I should know.
